This restaurant is on a second floor so if you've been on the slopes and jello-legged - be prepared for a few steps. The space is nice and the service was so kind and inviting. It can get a little loud depending on who the other patrons are. We've been where the din has been muted but also there when raucous kids provided an unwanted accompaniment to dinner. The food is definitely top notch and the servers are happy to provide some insights to what is good. Complimentary hummus with crudite kicks off the meal - but don't be afraid to order the bread it's carbolicous and baked in house. What we've had: * Fried mushrooms. A mix of battered and fried earthy goodness. We liked this and those who like these nightshades will too * Spicy clams. A big hit with us with the slight spice to it - dip the crusty bread in the broth and savor * Creamy Celeriac Soup. A delightful surprise - a creamy soup that has wonderful flavor accented by the spice oil. I would recommend this for soup lovers. * Miso Chilean Sea Bass. A very solid dish with greens and lotus roots. It's not a huge portion but enough. * Crispy Duck Leg - Delicious and full of flavor and the potato perogis are a great accompaniment * Filet Mignon - This was a perfect medium rare and a well composted dish. Definitely a good spot if you're looking for a place to grab cocktails and sit somewhere that feels a little elevated. For drinks, we ordered the Smoked Old Fashioned and the Prickly Pear Mezcal Margarita. Both were solid and nicely made, though nothing particularly memorable. Appetizer wise we tried the baked brie dessert wise tried the baked Alaska, and banana pudding. The baked brie came with lingonberry pomegranate jam and crackers, but the rind gave it a bit of a stronger flavor than expected and it didn't quite hit for us. The desserts overall were decent, but none were standout enough that we'd go out of our way to order them again. One thing that stood out was that it felt a little pushy toward ordering entrées, even though we mentioned we were just there for drinks and dessert. Happy to come again and try the entrees maybe that is where they truly shine.

The Utah elk with huckleberry jam was a standout, such a unique and well-balanced combination. The elk ragu was also amazing, super rich and full of flavor. I loved that they source locally. It really shows and makes the whole meal feel even more special. The presentation of each plate was beautiful. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food, and everything felt intentional and well seasoned. I also really appreciated how they handled dietary needs. The menu clearly labels gluten-free and dairy-free options, which made it easy to navigate without any guesswork. Our waitress was attentive and gave great recommendations throughout the night. Even though it's located in a strip mall, don't let that deter you. The interior has a modern, elevated feel, and the easy parking is honestly a huge bonus. Thankfully we made reservation and were seated right away. The two of us shared the creamy Baked Brie for appetizer which was pretty good. Hubby got the Double Wide Pork Chop, and I opted for the Colorado Bison Bavette. Very nice presentation on the entrees but too salty. We found the saltiness overwhelmed the flavor on both dishes.

Unfortunately, our request for no red onion was either not conveyed by our server or disregarded by the kitchen - not a big deal in and of itself but I was a bit surprised when our server made no attempt to rectify the error beyond simply saying "sorry." I ended up having to pick the onions off, so am docking a star for that!

We ordered a Caesar salad which was good romaine lettuce, tomatoes, parmesan cheese and creamy Caesar dressing with good flavor. 4/5 $17 Garden salad with lettuce, corn, bacon, walnuts, dried cherries and a balsamic vinaigrette dressing, I call it a trail mix salad, but really good with a little crunch. 4/5 $18 Pool side was awesome little overcast that cooled it down to a perfect 83 degrees. #spoiled #goodlife
