These guys were really nice. They quickly swapped out the windows and did an awesome job cleaning up after themselves.

We hired Five Seasons last year to replace most of our windows for our home. Some of our windows…read morewere fairly large, and we also had two sliding glass doors replaced. So, this was a big project and we were very nervous as it was our first time doing this. From the start, we were impressed by the sales process. They went over our preferences and needs multiple times, made many iterations, and finally, we settled on the windows to replace, the style, the amount of sun filtering, etc. We chose Marvin windows as the window manufacturer, and Five Seasons then handled the installation. Now that it's been a year, we can say that Five Seasons supports their work really well. We had some problems with the hardware side of some of our Marvin windows and doors. It wasn't anything major, but things that should have been working properly. Dylan and Makayla provided exceptional support and actually rebuilt our sliding glass door locks for us, and since they did their work, the door locks have been working perfectly. The window installers, under Mike, did a great job installing windows that were large and in difficult locations. We have now had a year to see how they have held up to wind, rain, and cold weather and they are doing great. We are glad we went with Five Seasons. They were reasonably priced, installed the windows when scheduled, and have been providing excellent support.

Superior Industries - Align composite insulated siding horizontal and board and batten

We were looking to replace our 28-year-old, builder-grade siding that was showing signs of water…read moreretention. After getting four quotes, I came to realize that each company pretty much has one type of siding they recommend and install. For one company we interviewed it was LP (engineered wood), for two companies it was Hardie (fiber cement), and for the last company, Superior Industries, it was a material we hadn't heard of before: Gentek ALIGN Composite Cladding (aka Alside ASCEND Composite Cladding). I was initially skeptical because I hadn't come across it in my research. How good could it be? Turns out, amazing. Really glad I called Mike to come take a look, as otherwise we would have ended up spending a lot more to get a not-quite-as-good product. Superior Industries replaced all of our siding, soffits, and facia, and aluminum-wrapped all new trim boards for us. They did precise, high-quality work and it really shows. Communication was good throughout and the guys who did the work were friendly and competent. Mike only has a couple teams, so these guys have been with him for many years and really know their stuff. They listened to everything I had to say, they consulted me when there were any decisions to be made, and they answered all my questions. Everything looks great and we are very pleased.

Inferior Product Installed…read more I needed new windows for a remodel I am doing in my daughter's condo. I contacted Superior Industries for one of three quotes I received. Mike came to respresent Superior. Mike and I discussed in detail about the color of the windows. I probably told Mike at least a dozen times "I need brown windows," "The windows must be brown." Not once did Mike speak up to tell me the windows he had in mind would be white inside. I fully expected the windows to be brown inside and out. Mike emailed me a work order where he added "white inside" to the description of the windows. I didn't notice this detail in the work order, but at the same time, I did not approve or sign-off on this work order. I approved the install solely on the promise of brown windows at a quoted price of $11,262. What business person would believe that simply sending out a work order, with no sign-off by the customer, indicates acceptance by the customer? The windows Superior installed are much cheaper windows than all-brown windows would have been. I accepted their quote believing I would get all brown windows. Quotes from the other vendors indicate brown and white windows sell for three to four thousand dollars less than all brown windows. I overpaid by three to four thousand dollars! I entered into agreement with Superior in good faith. I did not get respect or good faith in return. Instead, I got an inferior product where a much better product was promised. I will never do business with this company again. Update to Mike's response: What contract? A contract is a document where both parties sign-off agreeing to the terms of the contract. My signature does not appear on any such document. The email Mike references approves only the quote based on a promise of seven brown windows. I never approved the work order via email. I challenge Mike to post here any proof that I signed-off or otherwise approved the terms of his "work order."

Affordable Door Co

Crash! That's the sound we heard from inside the house late Monday afternoon. We quickly scrambled…read morearound to find the cause of the issue. My daughter had just come inside after closing the garage door behind her. The spring snapped while the door was closing, slamming the 450-lb wood garage door to the ground. Attempting to raise the door was pointless, so both cars were stuck in the garage. The former owner of our house had used another company for garage repairs, and there was a sticker by the garage opener, so I looked them up on Yelp. 3.2 stars? No, that won't do. I did some quick searches and came across Affordable Door Co. Their 4.9 rating with more than 100 reviews told me what I needed to know, so I called and left a message. Mary Anne texted a short while later, asking for a pic of the inside of the door. She then called and was able to tell me the size of the door, give a base cost for the repair, and let me know about other potential repairs that might be needed once everything was broken down. Ok, fine. Let's talk about how soon someone can come out. We settled on Leo arriving early Tuesday morning, which then would've given enough time for my wife to get her car out of the garage for an important announcement. An hour or so later, around 6:30 on Monday night, my phone rings. It's Leo, wanting to know if it's too late for him to come out and do the repairs now. I was caught a little off guard, but yes, that would actually work well. Leo showed up around 30 mins later. I showed him into the garage, and he gave me a brief overview of what he'd be doing. Less than an hour later, Leo let me know he was done. He walked me through what he did, showed me a few other pieces that needed to be replaced, and also talked to me about following up in a few years for maintenance and to have the metal rollers (which were still usable now) replaced with nylon rollers. Service by both Mary Anne and Leo was top notch....better than top notch, if such a thing exists. I didn't price compare, but I'm guessing what I paid is comparable to what others charge...and even if it's a bit more, you definitely get what you pay for. Affordable is the company I'll go to for all future garage door maintenance and repairs....and their sticker is now near the garage door opener.

Replacing Our Interior Doors From the start, Kale came to…read moreour home and gave the sales pitch of a lifetime, from selecting the style to the color and explaining the process from beginning to end. He shared that it would take about 4 to 6 weeks to receive the doors. In addition, being a military veteran, Kale ensured that we received a military discount. Several days later, another employee came and digitally measured all of the doors that were going to be replaced. The big door was going to be 96" across, which was for our den storage closet. He explained the process for this door and what to expect. Five weeks later, our doors were received and installed. The team of two came prepared and installed all the doors within three hours. Talk about professionalism! The doors finish was outstanding, and the black enhanced the white doors. The storage closet, which was 96 inches across, was awesome. One of our neighbors was looking at the work and wanted their phone number, which I gladly gave to them. Living in a retirement community, we do a lot of word-of-mouth referrals for our neighbors. And I'm gladly going to spread the word about this company and their excellent service.
