Alpine is fantastic! Professional, Fair prices, prompt service and Great Customer care! I have used Alpine for my heating and air needs for a few years now, and I wouldn't call anyone else! Thank you Mike! I appreciate you! read more

We have had Alpine fixing our aging air conditioner and furnace (39 year old) and they did a great job extending the usefulness of the old equipment. But finally they gave out and Mike and Ron gave us a great bid on a new air conditioner and furnace. They were helpful answering our questions and went out of their way to make everything work. Ron even got us a new return vent (intake grille) for the blower that makes it run quieter. I would highly recommend this great father and son team to anyone who wants great service and friendly help. read more

Mike is an amazing person not only is he extremely honest but very punctual and professional, he's been fixing our fridges and Ice machines for over 5 years here in Camarillo at my hotel property, I've had other technicians come before I found him and they were either scam artist or no shows, if you want someone you can trust and depend on Alpine is definitely highly recommended! read more

Alpine and Mike are seriously they best! Mike has been servicing our HVAC system for years now and it's been nothing but the best service. Reasonably priced. Responsive! We have had one unexpected issue (knocking on wood). It occurred at 8:30pm on a weeknight. I called, left a message and got a call back within 15 mins. Mine came out first thing the next day and fixed our problem. He's really just the most pleasant and helpful. Really glad we have him to service our system/take care of us! 100000% recommend him. read more

Mike was punctual, friendly and did very good work for a fair price. And he didn't try to upsell me on a new unit. Instead he promptly repaired the unit and did additional preventative maintenance. I'm calling Alpine for my AC repair needs read more

We just bought an older home in Simi Valley that needed some TLC. So glad we called Mike and Ron to help us with our whole duct replacement. Very professional, honest and knowledgeable. Mike gave us a timeframe of completion and exceeded that so we were only without the air/heat for one night. They also installed a new vent for us in our living room, cut new lines, replaced some vent covers, closed one that wasn't even hooked up and made it so our daughters room gets better air flow. AND We spoke with Mike about getting insulation installed later this year so he made sure to install the ducts where there is room for insulation, he also offered to call the company and let them know what to do around the duct work. They are a small business and they run it themselves. Mike answers the phones and does the work along with his dad Ron. Mike is also coming back to help us change a vent this Friday (which he didn't need to do, but offered to because they are amazing) They went above and beyond and have gained a customer for life. Highly, highly recommend!! read more

I can't recommend Alpine highly enough! AC wasn't cooling efficiently. Had Mike come out. He cleaned the fan. He also said I needed to replace the filter, and explained the reason that the water was pooling on the garage floor was because the overflow pump was burnt out. I indicated I would be willing to purchase and replace the filter and pump myself. He was totally happy with me doing the work myself, (even though it meant less work and money for him). And he even explained exactly what to buy and how to do it, and only charged me for the very affordable service call and cleaning. I while later, I finally got around to replacing the pump, but then HVAC wouldn't turn on. He said he could come out, but it wouldn't be for a day-and-a-half (it was a heatwave, things were busy). But he helped me troubleshoot and identify the problem, and the minor error I had made, over the phone. And told me where to buy the fuse I needed to replace. Again saving me $, and no charge on his part. I wish every handy-person was this helpful and honest. As I said above, I can't recommend Alpine highly enough! read more

The BEST. Hands down. I am so thankful to come across ALPINE and to make the acquaintance of Mike. After being told by 4 companies that I would have to replace my entire system and given conflicting reasons for why it wasn't working, something seemed off. So I looked to Yelp and found the company with the best reviews. Alpine. There's a reason for it. Mike fixed my A/C for 1850.00 and saved me about 14k. All the other companies seem to just want to replace things these days instead of fixing them and saving you money. What's interesting to me is that none of the other companies were able to identify the issue properly. Mike got in there and solved the problem with a quickness. Thank you for looking out for my best interest and saving me a ton of money, Mike. I'm so grateful and appreciative of your honesty, integrity, quality of work, incredible customer service and your thorough knowledge of your trade. QUALITY. read more

Alpine Heating & Air has my highest recommendation. They are so efficient, reasonable, and honest. Our old, out of date heater recently stopped working and Mike was able to come out within 20 minutes of my call. Mike was here for six hours until he had it fixed and still charged me exactly what he quoted at the start. Nothing extra, despite having taken up almost his whole day. Mike always picks up the phone and schedules you as fast as he possibly can. He also saved our A/C on short notice last summer, again for a very reasonable price. If you need HVAC work in your home or business, you can't get better than Alpine! read more

I called another Simi Valley competitor out to look at my old furnace. They sent out a helper, said there was nothing they could do a quoted me a ton of money to replace the whole system. My system has everything but the furnace new but they never looked. When I explained that to them I was quoted a slightly lower price. I sent them on their way and called Alpine. The competitor called back with a third lower price to fix the system. Mike cam out and diagnosed the issue and was even able to get the existing parts working again because the replacement was so tough to source quickly. Tremendous value, you can be confident you are getting the straight talk. Alpine will get my business when the furnace is replaced, his competitor won't be let in my house again. read more

Mike and Ron replaced my gas furnace on 12/7/22. They did a great professional job in good time. They came on time and did the job with their quote and no ups. Outstanding services, highly professional and honest. Top recommendation. Thanks guys. read more

Super fast response and very friendly. Did a great job servicing my A/C unit and it needed it badly. Would definitely recommend this company. read more

Michael was fantastic! He came out, was on time even early which I really appreciate. He figured out what was wrong quickly and upgraded where needed. I thought I was going to need a completely new system and he said no right away, that the units I had weren't that old and were pretty good units. A few minor upgrades and I should get more then 5-6 years out of what I have saving thousands right now. What a stress relief that was! I definitely will be using him again and I highly recommend him if you need help. Thanks Michael! read more

Highly recommend this family owned business! Mike came over and quickly was able to determine what was wrong with our AC unit and how to fix it. AC is working better and more efficiently than ever! Very trustworthy and easy to work with. Thank you so much! read more

My AC was working and blowing cold air but was dripping water into the furnace closet. Quite a bit of water. Called Alpine since they had done some work for my wife at her business and provided great service. I left a VM and Mike called me back right away. After discussing the issue with him he diagnosed that it was likely a clogged drain line. Simple to correct but unfortunately his earliest availability was more than a month out. That was too long to wait so he recommended another HVAC service company. The company he pointed me to came out and had it working in less than 24 hours. Awesome customer service. Making sure I got my problem fixed even when he wasn't going to make anything from it is exactly what I want from the people I do business with. They've got a loyal customer in me for sure. read more

Alpine Heating & Air has my highest recommendation. They are so efficient, reasonable, and honest. Our old, out of date heater recently stopped working during the coldest/wettest week of this year. Mike was able to find us a new heater and have it installed within 6 hours. Everything was back in and functioning so quickly! Even with extra parts being needed, no change in the quote. I will always be calling Alpine in any future issues. read more

I called him because my heater was pushing out cold air and I was in desperate need due to recent freezing temps. He came out within 15 minutes, made the repair in about 20. I don't think I've ever had anything repairs that quickly. Incredibly professional too! Will use again for sure. read more

Mike was great! He luckily had a cancelation and came over within 15 minutes of me calling. I have serious allergies to dogs/cats and he was a good sport about wearing booties to protect me from any pet hair he may have been exposed to. He quickly went and got the replacement parts and filters we needed and made sure everything was completed properly. Highly recommend! read more

Mike was able to fit me in after the A/c stopped working on one of the hottest days of summer so far. He was on-time, diagnosed the problem quickly, replaced it, and had us up and running in less than an hour. He enough time to hose everything down nice and clean. Highly recommended. Knowledgeable and charged a fair price. read more

Mike was great. He came on time, looked at our refrigerator and determined what was wrong quickly. Gave me the results, a quote, and it could be fixed in within an hour-which he did. read more

I am completely impressed with Alpine. I called during busy summer season to schedule service to my air conditioning unit and check the Freon level. My call was answered the first time I called. I was given an appointment within a few days, which was amazing to me due to fact it was hot summer season. The owner arrived promptly and on time as promised. He was very polite and knowledgeable. He checked my system and Freon level and was a true professional. He was HONEST and did not try to push or sell me parts or services I didn't need! I truly can't say enough about Alpine A/C. I highly recommend calling Alpine for any of your HVAC needs, because I certainly will call again when needed! Thanks Alpine!!!! read more

My thermostat stopped working and Mike from Alpine came to my rescue. He replaced my old unit with a sweet little new one. My wall looks even better now as he installed it with a faceplate that gave it a finished look. This is a family owned business that provides a higher level of service. Plus the price was very reasonable. I recommend Alpine highly. read more

I wish I could give 100 stars to Alpine Refrigeration. Mike always gets right back to me and always finds time to fit me in to his schedule. He fixes any problem with ease and is a true professional. I would never use any other heating/air conditioning company. There is no one out there that could compare. Alpine is the best! read more

My partner and I are real estate agents and had a property in escrow in Simi Valley. We don't typically work in that area, so we didn't have an HVAC technician to call upon. Not having an HVAC tech that we trusted, we went to Yelp to locate one for our buyers. Thank God for yelp!! Finding Alpine has been the absolute best part of this escrow. Mike, the owner was willing to work with our schedule and when it came time to do the necessary work, far exceeded our expectations. To say that he went above and beyond would be an understatement. Not to get too much into the details, but its safe to say had Mike not intervened, our escrow would not be scheduled to close on time. If you are looking for a company that is not only beyond competent in their trade, but will also exceed your expectations in the way in which they will deal with you, their client, then Alpine is head and shoulders above their competition. read more

Mike is amazing! Thank you to Alpine refrigeration for checking out my little flower cooler and giving it an A+ grade. They were very professional, courteous and generous with their time. Tried changing the thermostat on our AC but failed. Called Alpine and father and son came in the next couple of hours. They checked the problem and said that I blew up the fuse, replaced it, and installed the new thermostat. I also asked them to check on another problem with my AC since it was not cooling the house. They checked the refrigerant and it was low so they topped it off. However same problem occurred, I called them again. Mike came over to check it out and after finding out details of the AC, he advised me to call the installer to have it checked out since it is a new home and we still have warranty on it. They are kind, honest and reliable. They actually took time to explain everything to me. They can definitely do the job right. Alpine really helped me out a lot on the problems I am having with my AC. Thank you so much, Alpine! read more

My upper A/C unit broke during the hottest heat wave. I am pregnant and have a 16 month old, so I was in need to get someone out here fast. How amazing is that?! Mike was so sweet and professional and was able to fix the problem in no time, and he gave us a great deal in the process. I highly recommend!! read more

I called Michael R because I needed someone to look at the AIr conditioning system. He was swamped and could not come see the system for 5 days. However, he did listen to me and helped me quickly diagnose the problem. It was a capacitor. He told me to take a picture of the capacitor and take it to Fred at Miracle Appliance in Thousand Oaks. Fred sold me a new capacitor and told me how to install it. It took 15 minutes. Michael spent 10 minutes with me knowing that he would not make anything from the conversation. Michael is a good person - please use him. There is a reason he has so many 5 star reviews. read more

I own a food truck in Ventura County that had a refrigeration issue. I called several refrigeration repair companies in the area and none were too willing to help. Once I got ahold of Mike at Alpine I was in good hands. Mike was able to successfully troubleshoot my refrigeration issue over the phone which led to me saving a LOT of money. There's a big difference between business owners that care about every single person that reaches out to them vs. those that are quick to give an excuse as to why they're not able to take-on your projects. I would only ever want someone like Mike and his dad to handle any future problems I might have in my kitchen. Thank you again, Mike! You'll never pay for food from my food truck. read more

My air-conditioning stopped working yesterday. I called Alpine and spoke to Mike who was very professional and scheduled an appointment for me for next week (because of demand this time of year). Luckily he called back after 10 minutes because he had a cancellation. Mike was on time, explained everything fully and fixed what was wrong with my unit in 30 minutes. I originally thought my compressor had broken but that was not the case. I appreciated his honesty which saved me thousands of dollars. The price for the repair was very good. I highly recommend this company. They are pros, they are honest and they are prompt. If I could give ten starts I would. read more

Mike, the owner, answered our call. He answered our questions about what could be going on with our broken air conditioner, and set us up with an appointment as soon as he could. This father and son operated Air Cond/Furnace sale and repair service renders wonderful community service. I called at 6:30 am for a problem with one of my thermostats and was surprised to get such immediate response. The serviceman (Mike, the son) was at my house at 10:00 AM as promised and remained until 11:30 to resolve the problem. He could have easily sold me an unneeded new thermostat but simply replaced a blown fuse in the furnace. He was patient and friendly and the charge was for a simple service call. I didn't even have to pay for the fuse. I plan on using them for my future for the annual servicing of my two air/conditioner/furnace units. read more
