I called and spoke to Robert which gave me much relief after speaking to some pretty awful air duct…read moreguys. One of them told me he was coming at 3:00 for an appointment that I didn't book. Robert was on time, respectful, knows his job inside and out. He also goes the extra mile. I had knocked a window panel off the rail and he not only fixed it for me, but he also put a cap piece on the end so it wouldn't slide off again. Like myself in my business, he is not the cheapest air duct cleaner around, however I want the job done well, one time, and that is what Robert's goal is and it's how he runs his business. He cleaned everything out meticulously and also went on the roof and cleaned the vent up there, too. I encourage anyone needing help after seeing an error message on your dryer like an "d95" type, it's time to give Robert a call. He also has a lot of expertise in many other areas related to appliances too. But best of all, He comes out to Malibu!

Wow! I didn't think I'd ever review Air Duct Cleaning, but Robert was so professional (he even…read morebrought his own booties to cover his shoes when he walked in our home, which I so appreciated having little ones) and thorough. I expected the usual in-and-out service we had received from duct cleaning companies in the past, but Robert spent FOUR hours cleaning our dryer vents, even making a stop at an appliance store mid-way through to save us the headache of having to get an appliance tech out and fixing some smaller, and bigger, issues in our dryer. He even found a replacement for our lint catcher that had been broken for years. Couldn't recommend enough! The pictures speak for themselves.

I'm really happy to be writing this. It's been 11 years since I left my first review of AirWorks,…read moreand I still stand by what I said back then. I don't think you can measure a business when everything is going perfectly. You measure a business by how they handle things when it doesn't go as planned. Everything has been going great, but we recently had a little hiccup when I added a whole home water filtration system. I was a little frustrated and it took a little bit to get the right person on the phone, but I'm really happy to know that they are the same company from 11 years ago. They went above and beyond to take care of the problem. I've heard nightmare stories about other companies in the area that will install something and if there is a problem, you are on your own. I see a 1-star review from someone who was frustrated with lack of customer service. I was frustrated with this too. The AI phone interface can be frustrating, but there are good people working there who are trying to do the right thing. It just might take a little bit of patience to get the right person on the other end of the phone. I do know that they are addressing this problem. Julian is my plumber and Sam is my HVAC guy and when they come to the house it's like having old friends visit. At the end of the day, that's what keeps me coming back to them. The work is solid, the technicians are knowledgeable, and when something does come up they stand behind what they do. Eleven years later, that still says a lot about the kind of company they are. I have no hesitation to call them for some of the bigger upcoming purchases that our household needs, like a new AC unit and a tankless water heater. I am very happy with how they addressed this past issue and will be calling them in the future.

Lack of transparency in estimates. They just give you a lump sum. No breakdown of costs provided…read more Extremely high cost for service. Higher than most hvac repair in the area. Great sales tactics on their end if you are evaluating them from a business standpoint. Lots of AI interface and lack of personal human approach to business. I had an issue with my furnace. They came out and diagnosed it, and did the repair that day. Days later when I went to use it, same issue. They came back out and diagnosed two other issues, no mention of why we don't think that those things weren't present the first visit. So I paid for first and second visit. I think I should have been refunded the first visit since clearly that service didn't fix the job. Oh and the best is they already started trying to up sell me a whole new system...they installed mine 10 years ago. They were better 10 years ago.

After buying appliances at Home Depot, I was asked if I had water issues (which I do), and they offered to send someone to test my water for free and recommend solutions. Simple enough -- or so I thought. Instead, I got a series of texts from someone telling me that every adult in my home needed to be present during the appointment. They kept pushing about who would be there and even asked if my husband would be home. As a woman handling this appointment on my own, that immediately raised red flags. It honestly felt like I was being second-guessed because I'm a woman -- like my input wasn't valid without a male present. If I had been a man, I doubt my account notes would have been described as "very vague" just because I booked a free water test. The entire situation felt more like a high-pressure sales setup than a genuine consultation to help with water issues. Their reasoning? They didn't want to drive back later to explain equipment options to anyone else, due to gas costs. That's not my responsibility as a customer -- especially from a company tied to Home Depot. Overall, this felt unprofessional and honestly discriminatory. If you're considering water testing through Home Depot, be careful who they send. This didn't feel like a trustworthy or customer-focused experience. Also, this company is selling their machines for double what they're worth and it's pretty simple to hire a plumber to install them for you and buy one directly from a water softener and whole home water filtration manufacturer. Do a little research on how much these machines cost, I've found ones with excellent reviews for about $4/5k total. This company is selling theirs for $10k

He was honest with what work could wait and tried his best to work on the pricing with us, Julian gets 5 stars. Nextgen home office or management or whatever you want to call it gets maybe a 3/5. Jasmine was not super helpful, short and cold communication and didnt offer anything helpful then comically hung up on Julian and me when she offered to hold our quote for only 1 week when i was explaining my financial situation. Overall good service but beware of the upsell. Again, Julian and his coworker Eddie 5/5 technicians.
