They were so awesome. Made me feel right at home and very comfortable. My mom and I definitely chose the right place for a spa day!

Tina does amazing work! Reasons why she is my go to manicurist: * came in with a chipped nail and she shaped and polished it very nicely * cuticles look clean * she dosen't use UV light for gel finish (as you know exposure to UV light increase your chances of getting age spots and even cancer) * instead she uses LED light * pays attention to detail Thank you Tina for always making my nails look fabulous!! read more

I went for a gel pedicure and all the manicurist did was a polish change...I was a bit confused but when she charged me for a full spa pedicure I said what happened to the scrub, massage, callus remover.....she said "Oops, I forgot". Seems a little strange to "forget" half if the service. I told her I wasn't paying for the whole service, she didn't know how to undue the charge to my card....terrible place, terrible experience read more

I decided to treat my mom to a spa day and the guy who went to do my moms pedicure told her she was too heavy for their chairs. I can't even believe he said that to her. The guy I had was nice but we will not be coming back here just for that read more

Went in for a pedicure with friend. Loved the lady that did mine. Was a great experience. So much attention to detail. Amazing calf massage made very sure everything was great.. Unfortunately the girl that was working with my friend wasn't as good. She really didn't seem to want to be there. She actually cracked the skin on my friend's toe to the point she had blood on the toe separator read more

I have tried to like this salon but after the lack luster pedicure I had recently I shall not be returning. The guy who did my nails was so preoccupied with everything else that was going on, I was a mere distraction for him. He proceeded to do something I would not even call a massage and then when we was doing my nails he pulled off skin that had no intention of leaving. My yelp clued him in as he continued to focus on anything but me. The chairs in that salon are so uncomfortable. There is no cushion left. Time for new chairs and new employees or owners. My toe to date is red, infected and so sore. Never, ever again. read more

I called about 2 hours till closing to see if they had availability because I desperately needed a fill. Luckily they had time to fit me in for a fill! This nail place was so clean, such a cute vibe going on. The girl who did my nails didn't really ask about how I liked my nails so I had to speak up and say my preference shape and ask her to cut them shorter. It was a little hard to communicate with my nail tech and I was nervous the whole time. To my surprise I loved my nails (I'm usually pretty picky) She was fast and efficient! Overall I would recommend this place to friends/family read more

I love this place so much I drive all the way from Clairemont to see my girl Tiffany!! She's super friendly and does amazing nail art. I highly recommend you asking for her if it's your first time there. Be sure to call and make an appointment because she is in high demand!! read more

I found Mike after relocating and searching for a new place. He is excellent. His attention to detail is unmatched. A master of his craft.

Ask for Dana! She is very detail oriented and is a very talented nail tech. Shes great at either acrylics or gel. The salon is newly cleaned and renovated and they even have a new point system where you get points for your services and can redeem those points for discounts on your services. They're definitely stepping up their game! read more

Terrible service. They only care about who's is getting what and how much money you are going to spend, you are seated by how much money your going to spend not who walks in first they do not believe in first come first serve. If your looking for a fill or something simple stay away! I wish I could give a minus 10. My wife will never step foot in that place again what a joke read more

Went today to get a fill. Just a fill. Not a full set. Yet it almost took two hours for the guy who works there to finish due to him watching the football game that was playing, he was also texting through out his work. Because he was distracted by the game he also hurt me three different times and had to apologize every time. I paid $36 for a fill when i normally pay $40 for a full set where i normally go. The worst part of it all is that once he was done one of the nails got this weird air bubble and with in 5 hrs it's only been 5 hrs it popped and now my nail looks like this. Don't waste your money better drive a little further down for a good job and better price read more

Honestly I don't know where all the negative reviews come from. I got a gel manicure and a regular spa pedicure and I had a fine experience. Both the manicurist and pedicurist were maticulous and did a great job on my nails. I loved the fact that there were TV's on the walls, and UM THEY SERVE WINE! The spa was clean and has cute and comfy decor. Totally worth it to go here for a simple mani-pedi instead of going down the hill. read more

Awesome! My pedicure was so relaxing! My feet were in desperate need of help. Thank you.

Posted a year ago that the chairs don't work well guess what they still don't work they put me on number 8 it's broke. I tell the lady she says I don't know I don't use them.. omg lol really that's what you have to say you do not use therm.. oh well they are fast and no appointment needs so that's what you get for not planning your pedicure. I bumped from a 2 yo 3 they do a good job. It's the owner who needs to fix the chairs not the poor gals doing to toes. read more

This is a great Nail and Pedicure Salon. It's convenient in Alpine. Everyone that works there are very friendly and do a great job on a European pedicure, which is the treatment I request. I go to Dana by appt for pink and white fill. Does excellent job on my nails that last weeks. Salon is nice, clean and chairs comfortable. read more

I've been there multiple times and the guy who works there (or doesn't I don't know.) would cut my cuticles and act like I wasn't bleeding, the shape was horribly done. And when I tried to tell him it's not pointed enough he told me "okay okay, I fix" and never did. Never went back since 2017. read more

Walked in was greeted and told 15 minute wait. A lady walks in right after me and they take her right away. She didn't even have an appointment. But thank God they took her first because it gave me a chance to look at the prices. Can you believe they charge $36 for a regular fill. My regular nail place only charges $12. That gave me the chance to run out of there. No way am I paying $36 for a fill. read more

This place is horrible! The worst service! I was hesitant because of the other reviews but didn't have time to travel to El Cajon to my regular place. I'm actually here now, while I was getting my services done there is a really mean and rude lady at the front. She was talking to my girl in Vietnamese all of a sudden my girl starts rushing. I'm done and then the rude guy walks over to me doesn't say anything then starts to pull up the arm of the spa chair! I told him I wasn't done drying and he said I had to move! I move to another area and for nothing! Than he starts talking rudely to my son who was standing next to me. Telling him to go sit down. Really upsetting! Never again! I couldn't post this review without at least 1 star, I would have left none' read more

I have been coming here for years because it's local and close but people ....keep driving down the hill. There are several very sweet girls who have been their mainstay but it's Hit or Miss here. Overall the staff are unfriendly, rude and only speak in Vietnamese and only to each other. The man who is there most of the time is not good. His technique is rough, uncaring and this last time he cut my skin on several toes while using the sanding block. Not only did he not notice but he did not care when I pointed it out. So incompetent! No apology and they charged me. Most unrelaxing pedi ever. Their products are cheap too. Best advice: skip it. DONE! read more

Alpine Nail Spa - Evidence of scratched skin abrasions to the tops of my 4th & 5th toes. Incompetent Male manicurist with an unapologetic attitude! - Nail Salons Near Me - Alpine, California

The service was very quick and the employees were very efficient and kind. The work area was exceptionally clean and they even had cute little Halloween decorations which gave the place a very homey feeling. I'm happy with how my gel manicure turned out, I had Yen and she was very meticulous and thorough. I greatly appreciate the hard work. I'm not too familiar with getting my nails done so I don't have much to go off of when rating my nails, however my friend who gets her nails done often was ecstatic about her acrylics. So overall it was a very nice visit. My favorite part was the lotion they applied after my manicure, it smelled great and made my arms and hands so soft. read more

This place is NOT walk in friendly. Staff is VERY rude and dismissive. Will never bother with this place again.

This place was almost empty two days before Christmas and that should have given me a clue right then as everyone else was booked. Honestly I don't know how this place stays open. I went there for a simple gel nail set. My cuticles and fingers were bleeding when they were done. The lady filling my nails/fingers wasn't even really paying attention. And were as gel normally lasts a almost month, within a week it was peeling off. I'll never go there again. read more

I went to the nail salon in EL CAJON by the super walmart. I walked in at 4:21 and was told to pick a color. I was seated in the chair and Mary began the pedicure at 4:25pm. she was very quick. I paid at 4:37pm. and left. it was the quickest sloppiest job in the world. I saved up $20 to go get a decent pedicure and was only there for 20 minutes im still in shock!!!! Alpine Nail Spa - Horrible design so not happy and asked for it to be small not big i could of done better then them - Nail Salons Near Me - Alpine, California

I've gone here numerous times and I'm alway happy with the results. It's always clean and they have large screen televisions to watch as you get your nails/feet done. The pedicure chairs are extremely comfortable and you can pick from a variety of massage options. The last time I went, they gave me a menu-like folder which listed all their different services. I thought that was a nice touch. It can get a bit crowded so I usually go early on a weekday. The parking lot can also get a bit crowded with all the new businesses opening up in the surrounding area. So again, the earlier the better. I would give them a higher rating if they were a little bit friendlier. I noticed that when I started going more often, they started recognizing me. But I guess the most important thing is that they do a good job, right? ;) read more

This place sucks!!! I went in with long natural nails needed three fingernails made to match the rest and have acrylic put over the rest of my nails. They are now half the length they were and rounded not squared like I asked. The guy who did them had the top of the nails so lumpy and painted them like he was painting the side of a house. Another lady had to come over and try to fix them but they are still messed up all different lengths and the three fake ones are the shortest of all. On top of it I was there for like 3 hours!!! Total waste of time and money don't bother. read more

Is your expectation level set too high?! Well, I guess I am first going to state what I think is obvious, this is a NAIL place NOT a spa! If you're looking for pampering and all that, this is not the place for you. However, if you're looking to get a mani and/or pedi, well done at a reasonable price, then this is exactly where to go. There are different pedi packages to choose from and all four of us got exactly what we wanted. The chairs were comfortable, and I felt that the environment and such was clean. And it was busy the entire time we were there. They do take appointments as well. The fun part was my hubby and I only went for pedi's but decided to get mani's too. We came out with our feet n hands looking great. We will be back! read more

I have acrylic nails and broke one off. I decided to give this place a try since I wasn't happy with where I originally had my nails done. They charged me $36 for a fill and 1 repair. $36! They seemed fairly nice, but I won't be going back. read more

Terrible place and deserve 0 stars... my wife and i walked in and they all sat there on their phones looking at us for about a minute when I said we had an appointment 3 times. They didnt speak very good english and decided to put the wrong color on her nails when she specified what she wanted an just ignored her. Then they said the color looked nice and didnt change to the color she wanted. They will never get our service again. read more

I would give a zero if I could. They have a new computer system for you to sign in on. I brought my granddaughter with me and they wanted her to sign in and provide her cell number and email address. I told them she is a minor and I did not want her giving out that information. They did go ahead and serve her, but I think that is a bad policy. I have had several pedicures there before and they were ok. Today I was very disappointed. The technician rushed through my pedicure, did not give my nails any time to dry before putting on my shoes and did a very sloppy job of painting them. I will not return - ever! read more

I love coming here! Everyone is nice, the facility is always clean, the owner Dana is awesome! She did my acrylics and they're lasting without lifting or breaking and my pedicure that I got today was amazing! They have awesome prices too! If you're in the area I highly recommend them rather than driving down the hill! I'd even recommend driving up to Alpine to get my nails done and pedicure there! read more

If I could select zero stars I would. Worst job anyone has ever done on my nails. Not a single nail had the same or similar shape not even the color was done correctly. The acrylics were not even filed correctly. I got so mad and told them I'm not going to pay for bad quality work and they threatened to call the cops so I told them to call. Cops came and looked at them with a straight face and said "my wife would never pay for work like this, remove them immediately or let her leave.." got them removed and now my natural nails look terrible and absolutely ruined. The man that did them took video and pictures of me the whole time. Never coming back here again & will never recommend to anyone. Please don't go here. My self esteem about my hands is now down the toilet. read more

Went to get a gel manicure. A man provided the service and he was quick. I left the nail salon with gel polish on my skin. I posted pictures showing the job he did. I really could have done a better job. I hate that I paid for a crappy job. I did tip out of politeness, but I will never go back. read more

Terrible service. I continued to go here because it's the only nIl place close by, I have given many chances as I figured sometimes places just have bad days. Done. I pay for upgraded pedicures and I usually let my almost 4 year old get her nails/toes painted... she sat there like a little angel today, hardly moved and didnt hardly speak - and that's how you know she felt uncomfortable too. If they commented on how hard it was to paint her "little" nails one more time, or told her not to move again... just not a good experience at all. I pay for her to get her stuff done, she should be treated like anyone else. If you can't paint a kids nails, then dont accept kids. read more

I'm writing this review for my wife because she doesn't have the stomach to say anything right now... It was my wife's birthday and she decided to go out and get her nails done. We did not want to drive far so we went to the local one here in Alpine. Not only were the workers rude but they were talking in their own language. We don't mind them doing that, but at least let us feel welcome. Also, My wife has a complex that she has too much facial hair. It never bothered me. Yet the lady that was doing the waxing kept repeating "wow", over and over again. My wife came out in tears and I was fuming! If these people want to come to America, the land of the free and the land of opportunity, they should at least have a grateful attitude and keep their opinions to themselves. Very unprofessional. They better be glad that I didn't go back and make a scene to expose them in front of everybody who was there. I figure that would be stooping to their level. So I decided to write a professional review here to encourage people not to go there. It's best you take the extra drive and drive 10 minutes further out and find the next one. Unbelievable! read more
