I got a regular pedicure and it came out to 70 bucks + tip on top of that. It was normal nail polish, not even gel. Won't be going back.

This was my second time at this salon in the last month (January 2026). I picked it because of the area and it's a non-toxic salon! I get a basic gel polish manicure on my real nails and regular polish on my toes. My polish still looked great after 3 weeks, no chipping or peeling, and I am hard on my nails! I only went back so soon because my nails had grown a lot. The same staff was there both times. Vivian and Mia did a great job on my nails both times. I have apprehension going to any nail salons because of past drill overuse completely obliterating my nails and cuticle injuries/pain from multiple other salons. I just asked them up front to please be careful not to sand too much. They are very gentle and detail oriented. I don't mind quiet appointments, but I talked to them the first time and they were friendly. The second time I stayed mostly quiet and I didn't mind them quietly chatting with each other. Both times I felt well taken care of. There was another client or two there each time. I was glad it wasn't packed. It cost $85 total (before tip) to take off the old polish & get the new polish. I prefer no manual massage (I do use the massage chair). To me, it's a fair price and worth it for the relaxing and less crowded atmosphere, easy parking and being accommodated with my special request. They also offer a complimentary drink such as a mimosa, champagne, etc. I kind of want to gatekeep, but this salon deserves our business -I recommend! read more

I needed a nail color change because it's my daughter's graduation and I smeared my nails. She had nobody in the salon. She wanted to charge me $45 to change my polish. They barely speak English.. They don't do dip, very unprofessional place. I will never go back there and now I know why nobody's in their salon. read more

We have been coming here time to time, aware of the expense but it's been convenient bc of how close it is, having a one year old, etc. they also added "lower" prices to be able to have basically a polish change mani and pedi. Don't get me wrong still expensive but they've mostly done a good job and it's been easy for me after becoming a mom of two. Anyway, recently my older daughter and I went there (we don't go often bc of the prices it's usually a treat) and my gel mani started peeling off within 3 days. I called and let the main guy there know and he said come on in and they'll fix it no problem. I explained I can't come back in due to busy schedules and we agreed that he'd make a note on my file and next time I came in it would be no charge for the mani. So I ended up going back in a couple months later and at checkout let them know I had a free mani on my books. The guy said no you have to come back within two weeks and he looked and said I hadn't been in a couple of months. I explained I know and that we talked about this and he said it was ok, etc. well he got incredibly heated and was basically denying the free service. He was adamant that I'd need to come in in the two weeks in order for it to be valid an become surprisingly escalated about this. I told him we already talked about this, I'm a busy mom and that he agreed about to this plan. He started yelling at me so much that his lips were shaking!!! I told him that I wasn't going to pay for it bc that's not what the deal was and he's more than welcome to take the polish off then if he isn't going to honor the deal. It wouldn't have been an issue if the last polish didn't come off in a few days anyway! Anyway, this review is long overdue... he got so angry I was pretty shook and crying leaving there... i was newly pregnant with our third just doing a little self care and taking some time to myself. At this point, we've given them enough chances... they've officially lost us as customers and I highly do NOT recommend going here. read more

I went to Alpine Nail Spa (now seemingly named Nail Spa Plus) but, it was this address next to the UPS Store on Alpine Blvd. Anyway, I went in at 6:30 and asked if they could change the color on my nails and fix one broken tip. There was a man counting money at one of the nail stations and two women practically sleeping in the massage chairs (see pic). The young woman who was at the front desk asked if they had time to do this for me and I was told they were "too busy" and that they can make an appointment for me for the morning. I asked if they could just take the nails off and I was told they didn't have enough time because they were closing in 30 minutes. Unbelievable. It would have taken 15-20 mins MAX to take the gel polish off my nails. read more

Haven't been here in a years, so was a bit shocked at the price for a pedicure. After sitting down, I looked around and was impressed on how much more professional it was. Then I had the best pedicure of my life. The gel wasn't more expensive and the massage was intentional for reflexology. So glad I didn't let the cost scare me away! read more

The new pricing is outrageous and the service is not really any different. The pedicure service is suppose to include some eye mask and shoulder patches. They give them to you in little bags but fail to do anything with them during the service. A regular mani - straight mail clean up and polish $50. Craziness!!! Mia does my pedicure every time & does a great job. My nails always look nice, she takes her time & cares about what she does. The experience is well worth the $$. Nothing is rushed, including the very relaxing massage. I usually come in on a Sunday after a week of workouts, hiking & walking. Such a treat, thank you, Mia! Their prices recently went up astronomically. They are under new ownership now and the LOWEST price for pedicures are now $65.00, with full sets STARTING at $75.00. So even if youre going with super short nails like I did, $75.00 is what youre looking at , which at other salons is usually reserved for the longest nails. They say its because they are using a new "eco-friendly" gel, however, the gel didn't set all the way for me when I put them under the lamp and not even an hour after leaving one of my nails cracked. On top of the fact that the pricing doesn't Justify the quality, it takes them so long to do nails if you are doing nails and toes because they only have one person doing each at a time. Most salons I go to have someone doing your toes while another works on your hands so everyone gets done faster. Anyways, I'll be taking the extra 10 mins into lakeside or El Cajon to do my nails there, I really hope other salons dont start taking on prices like this or im going to just start wearing press-ons. read more

I have been going to this nail salon since they opened. I even took my Mom every other week. Yesterday when I went to get a pedicure/manicure, there was a lot going on. New people, new computer. They were friendly and welcomed me. A lot of people were waiting and someone asked if there were new owners. So there are new owners. One other lady asked about the prices and WOW, was I surprised. 2 werks ago is was $49.00 for both a pedi/mani and the new prices are $49.00 for a mani and $59.00 for a pedi. $108.00 for both. I just told them no thanks and left. I can see prices going up. But, that is a little ridiculous. They have lost a client. read more

What a horrible experience I had at this place yesterday. I made an appointment for a fill and gel pedicure. I walked in, and was asked to sit down at chair no. 4. A gentleman came over and began to do my nails. I asked him immediately if I could sit at the spa chair and soak my feet while we were waiting for someone to finish and start on my toes. He said no. 25 minutes later I asked him again and told him that I wanted to soak my feet and he ignored me. It took him 2 hours to do my fill. At that point, my back was hurting from sitting on that uncomfortable chair. I paid and left. I did not get my pedicure done as I did not have another 2 free hours. My point is that he wanted the money for himself and therefore he did not want for me to have anyone else do my toes. I will never return to this place. And now I have to go and get my toes done. Even when you request a specific Nail Artist and make an Appointment, they give you anyone who is available at the time. It's a 50/50 chance on being fully satisfied. There seems to be a major language barrier and they rarely seem to get your information correct. I was lucky today, I guess. Not impress with my nails.. (I could have done better). The requested heart didn't happen ...failed attempts.. The European spa pedicure was okay, But it's not much of a difference from the basic.. they put the wax then removed it quickly and same with the scrub. ***UPDATE*** She had to visit the Doctor office to drain the infection & perscribe her antibiotics! A SUPER PAINFUL PROCESS. You can try natural remedies suggested online at the first sign of redness but once any puss ridden infection occurs you need to see the Dr. Immediately at the Emergency room if Urgent Care is closed on a Sunday because it will keep spreading worse at that point. I noticed this nail salon hasn't had any current reviews so I decided to leave one for this sweet establishment. I've been staying at Viejas just down the road for a little staycation and needed a mani pedi badly. I stopped by this salon and Heidi was my technician. I had her take off my overgrown dirty dipped nails and also do a pedicure for me as well, she was amazing! Here they take their time to pamper their clients and make sure you're getting the service you need with attention to detail. I prompted for an added 10 minute foot massage because I badly needed one and Hiedi was amazing with a firm massage that was much needed for my overworked calves! I loved it and it's rare to find a technician with strong hands . I enjoyed the massage chair and with how exhausted I've been with work I found myself in relaxation dozing in and out of sleep . I noticed how the walls seemed like there was new paint done, Heidi told me that the shop had recently been remodeled, so the shop has a new feel and is nice and clean! I loved how relaxed the space was and didn't feel rushed in my services. I'm sure to come by again for my next staycation at Viejas. read more

Don't go here. Rude employees, non consent recording and picture taking for their "social media". Uncomfortable environment, they make you choose and pick your services when you walk up to reception, making you feel rushed. Alot of places ive been to seat you down and give you the book and let you choose. Overpriced place for rude service. I feel terrible because the girl who has been doing my manicure and pedicure I will no longer be able to afford to go to. I I just called to get pricing for polish change. No manicure, nothing sometimes I'll just take the girls in 7 and 10 for polish. $40 a piece. Went in to get a pedicure. Didn't know it was a new owner! The prices were outrageous! It's more than you would pay in a nice salon! So I had an appointment and they called me and said the girls running about half an hour to 45 minutes late. Can I come another time that day my schedule is pretty full so I tried to schedule it at the end of the day when I got there, they said that they had to reschedule me because their new procedures would take two hours to put my nails on, I already had nails that just needed to be filled, but they did not do that procedure anymore so they had to take off my old nails and put a gel on there. Went today for a gel manicure. Ann was the young lady did my nails. I get the same service each time and they always scrub my feet, which I can't stand because I'm so ticklish! When I went to pay I asked Ann if the gel pedicure no longer comes with a foot scrubbing. She said yes. When I asked why she didn't do mine she said she did.
