We are currently staying with you, and are having the absolute worst time. We have stayed with you all before, and had a lovely experience (room 106). Upon booking with Ryan Phillips in March, I was under the impression we would be in the same room- a fireplace, normal size kitchen.... We arrived on Monday to an upstairs room: as I have an infant, this was not an appropriate room assignment (going up and down with strollers..). So, we were immediately reassigned to 105. I am so upset with the state of this room. It is worse than a Holiday Inn. If I was provided with room specs/description, I would have never purchased this room. There is mold and cracking paint all over the bathroom/shower. There was long black hair all over the bathroom floor. The fridge was on the lowest setting, and we woke up to a fridge full of frozen food, of which we spent $370 in purchasing/ is now needing to be thawed in order to be eaten. The bed had long black hair on the sheets, and the orange duvet has a large reddish yellow stain.. It feels like an extremely run down hotel room-- night and day from our experience last time. No room to move, extremely cramped... 200 sq for probably Furthermore, I was charged $230+/- for tomorrow. We were considering staying another night (tomorrow), but because of our experience to date, we have elected not to extend our stay. When I called and spoke with the front desk and the supervisor this morning, they were reversing the charge. I called five minutes ago to follow up on the status, and they said it'll be refunded in 7 to 14 days!.. Not the normal 3-5 business day turnaround. The supervisor I spoke with this morning was so discourteous. The front desk representatives are lacking in customer service to say the least, and this is an understatement. I am honestly so upset we stayed with you all, and feel this has been a complete waste in time, energy and money. I expect so much more.. If I could give 0 stars, I would read more

Probably the poorest management company I have ever had to deal with (and I've dealt with many). They are horrible to respond to any inquiries, their telephone system is a joke, and a promised telephone response never happens. We stayed at Blue Mesa condo 41c and while the location was perfect for the event we we're going to, we we disappointed in the condition of this condo. It's so worn! The remotes for the TVs were so used that you couldn't tell where the on off switches were. A few newer accessories would really do this unit a bit of good. It's like it hasn't been up dated in years and years. Bed was ok. Pillows were terrible. It needs a complete update. Cabinets are in poor shape. Paint chips, tile needs grout. For goodness sakes get some new throw rugs. It just was overly worn and obliviously nobody wanted to put a bit of money into it. On another note the laundry room is ONLY OPENED from 7-9 AM! If you are here to relax you better get up at the rack of dawn to do wash. Disappointing to say the least. read more

Great location, but amenities are minimal, and need upgrades (ie. twin beds making up one king bed, but are two different types of mattresses, making it for an uncomfortable sleep). Also, they recently changed their policy on dogs, so if you bring your dog they have to be with you at all times (cannot be left in the room). However, this is not mentioned on their website, through the rental company (VRBO for some of the locations), nor when you call to tell them you are bringing your dog. This forced us to scramble to find a dog sitter while we were up there to enjoy our vacation. Also, one of the check in staff was extremely rude during check in, and during the stay. BEFORE you book; realize they will not contact you about the check in nor check out process. You have to call their number; it will always say it's an emergency number and to push # to speak to a team member. Push # because there is no other way to get in contact with this business. This was the most frustrating part, as before I arrived none of my other attempts at contact had been answered. Pros: - Breakfast included - Good location - Free parking with permit; MUST GET FROM OFFICE which they also DON'T tell you - Small room heater in closet, which helped warm up the place while the heater was going - The 1 bed was not uncomfortable Cons: - TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION - Not an actual free standing lodge; rooms are just in a larger lodge - Listed on AirBnB but you aren't renting from someone, just the actual business which was misleading - Heater took a long time to warm up "lodge" - Pull out sleeper was terrible; don't get room meant for 4+ people read more

Warning! I was charged $108 for cancellation fee . They canceled the Telluride Bluegrass Festival for vivid 19. Had weekend booked to stay with them for festival. Looked online for protocol measures for cancellation during covid stay a home policy. No one should be charging cancellation fees at this time. Not good business practice . Shame on you! read more

We stayed at Cimarron Lodge in January with a ski and stay deal. The trip started out okay, the room was noisy and tiny, but we could deal with that. On our last day we realized our car had been towed, from the parking lot we were told to park in with our pass. Well Alpine lodging (and street signs) failed to tell us that they plow snow on certain days of the week, and they will tow your car to plow. We found a nice map of the snow plow schedule online (after we were towed). It would have been nice to have that upfront. The person who helped check us in made no mention of snow plowing or to check your car daily to see if it is being towed. Of course, no one is going to help us pay the towing fee or ticket, because we should have mysteriously known when to move our vehicle. read more

If your looking for a great place to stay look no further! Chris from the office was super accommodating and helpful in every aspect. He set us up with our room, and shuttle to get to telluride. Room was huge, clean and had beautiful views of the mountains. One thing I would keep in mind though, upon arrival- Go get snacks for your place and lots of water. There is rarely any delivery here. 1/5 I booked a lovely and expensive home with this company, then out of no where about a month later I get a call that the home I booked for my family and I, is going to be taken out of inventory even though I already BOOKED this home with them. What kind of company is this? "Oh sorry we changed our mind and you can longer stay there even though you paid for it" unprofessional is to say the least. I was not at all surprised when I went to Yelp and found this company had a lower that normal star rating. Such bad customer service! They have a 10am checkout and I needed a place to put my stuff when we went skiing for the last day. She said there was no way I could keep my things in the lobby of the condo so I hurry back to get it all. Then I am changer a $50 late checkout. SO, if she is going to charge me for a late check out - why did I bust my ass to get off the Mt. to get my stuff? If you're going to charge me a $50 fee than I should have been able to keep my 'packed' things in the unit. Further, asking for a late check out should not have been the end of the world! Several windows would not close and had to contact reservations to fix. Windows where closed but not repaired. Temps went from 70's to 30's. Very cold in condo with windows that do not work. Fireplace also did not work and could not be repaired until week after our stay. We rented condo for a week for our honeymoon at a very expensive price. Management company did not offer a discount for our inconvenience of not functioning rental. We also had owner/ real estate agent show condo to potential buyers while we rented condo. TAL is always our first choice when we are in Telluride. We always attend the film festival over Labor Day weekend and it is not uncommon to spend additional time in Telluride at other times during the year including summer and even Christmas/New Years. Consequently, we have stayed in a variety of their properties. I am pleased to report that, in every instance, the accommodations have been beautiful and spacious. We have also found the various staff members to be gracious and willing to help make our stay as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended! read more

I can't praise Telluride Alpine Lodging enough. I've worked with them to rent Telluride condos for my ski group for three years now. Every trip detail has always been perfectly handled. Stayed at the Cimarron Lodge for 5 days in a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo. Pros: -The location of the condos are great. Cimarron is right in back of chair lift 7. -Check in was a breeze -There is a small grocery store within a 5 minute walk. Cons: -The condo and it's furnishings are dated. The owners should update the bedding. - The carpets should also be cleaned a little more often during the ski season. -There was NO house keeping service for the entire time I was there. Def a negative. -No mud "room" for your wet belongings. If there was a ski locker there wasn't a key left for our use. Ok for a quick trip. Wouldn't stay at this property again for anything longer than a few days. read more

We just came from the Viceroy in Aspen and stayed at the Cimarron Lodge just after Labor day, and I can without any doubt or hesitation this was the worst most disgusting place I have ever stayed at....location was the only positive attribute. The room was very small, old with filthy carpets that smelled....and i have pics. The room has tissue paper walls so it was easy to hear other guests, the bed was very uncomfortable with a shaky base. There was no decent air flow so the room stuffy warm dead air...this was not even a $60.00 a night room let alone $300.00...and the "kitchenette" consisted of a table in the corner with a corner wall shelf with a few plates and the microwave was on top of a small frig in the other corner and the TV was a total hot mess. This left me with such a bad feeling about Telluride that I may not come back. I have many photos......stay someplace, anyplace but not here! read more

Stayed overnight. It was a clean nice room. It was a little worn around the edges, but that is to be expected for an old lodge. We stayed in the Black Bear Room- which had a huge garden tub- very nice - The breakfast was awesome. They were very Service Dog friendly. read more

My boyfriend and I booked a ski trip through a 3rd party and were fortunate enough to get Chris as our guest agent. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make us feel right at home. He made himself available to answer any questions we had or any issues we might encounter. I usually don't go out of my way to thank guest services in these situations, as you expect a good experience. However, Chris did such a great job that we bought him a thank you card and gift at the end of our trip. We appreciate the extra mile you went to make our trip special, and we will definitely be back in the future, with friends in tow, to stay at your property again. Super, Super, Super!! This was our first trip to Telluride and we loved it! Of course the mountain and skiing was excellent, as well as the hospitality at the Mountainside Inn. Friendly staff and people, room was clean, updated and the location could not be better. Five minute walk to the town center, restaurants, ski lifts and free gondola transportation. Price was very affordable as well. We even had to leave a day early, unexpectedly and they let us roll the night over to any date in the future we wanted. I can't say enough so I will let the 5 star rating speak for itself! Highly recommended!! read more

My husband and I arrived in Telluride on 5/07/2015 I had looked for pet friendly hotels and found Telluride Alpine Lodging at 324 W. Colorado Ave. Although it was not easy to find once found the lady working when we checked in was so nice and very helpful, the hotel is under going remodeling the room we stayed in had a wonderful bed and was very spacious. Although we on stayed one night it had nothing to do with the lodge, we were just not prepared for the snow. If we get the chance to come back we would definitely stay here again. read more

When I first checked in, I couldn't believe how rude the manager was to both guests and fellow employees alike. She spoke down to everyone and treated you like you were a little kid. Our room was ready early though and the other employees were very nice so I quickly got over her attitude and figured she was just having a bad day, as it was fairly busy at the time. The condo we stayed at, Riverside, was large but could use some serious updating both for cosmetic reasons and comfort. The furniture and appliances were old and the springs in the mattresses were poking through which made for a not so pleasant sleeping experience. I could have gotten over all of this and still recommend it to a friend, until the next day when I noticed I had received a parking ticket even though my vehicle was exactly where they told me to park when I checked in. I went into the office and spoke with the lady at the front desk who was very nice and told me that she would give the tickets to her manager who would most likely take care of them. The next day I got a call from the manager, the same one who was extremely rude earlier, about the ticket. She told me that I was lying and no one told me to park there and refused to pay. I explained to her that the person who checked me in gave me a highlighted map of where to park and that I parked right where it said. She continued to call me stupid and argue with me for 10 minutes before I eventually realized it was going nowhere and hung up. I have contacted my attorney who is handling the matter. I am still in disbelief at how she treats people and also how she is still employed. I will update this post when I hear a response from Telluride Alpine Lodging. read more

Beware of this company, as it does not invest the time into hiring professional employees and there is no guarantee that everything in your rental will be safe or up to code and safety regulations. High turnover in a industry like this means things will be overlooked, or simply be done at a low cost, yet still demand high pricing. Do research for other companies, check Craigslist or just network on FB for a great place in Telluride. They do exist. read more

We are here August 4-7. The location was perfect. It is within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and gondola. The furnishings were dated and some was even torn. The carpet was stained in several places and the fridge/freezer was a joke. A lot of our groceries were ruined. Today, the upstairs tub leaked through the ceiling. I would suggest going somewhere else. Got in 2 hours early still let us go to our room. When we got to the room it was ok. TV needs updating. The worst things were the bed cause it was 2 twins pushed together. No snuggling. Then the ice machine is in the office.. which closes at 5.. so make sure you get A LOT of ice before they close or else you won't have a cold drink with your supper.
