Heart of Telluride is right in the middle of Colorado Ave. walking distance to everything. Shopping? It's all around. Food? Everything is right there. Grocery? liquor? Right here. Gondola and ski lifts? Quick 2 block walk. If you ski, they also provide lockers right at the base of the mountain. And if you like to partake in the 420 action, they have it. This place is three stories with a condo at the bottom that can be separate or can be rented along with the top 2 floors if you have a lot of folks. We rented the entire place so that means 2 kitchens, 2 washer dryers, 2 living areas, etc. The downtsfairs condo itself is gorgeous and would be awesome if you just have 2 people. King bed, steam shower, living area, fully appointed kitchen. Come up the stairs to the second floor where you find a huge master bedroom with king bed, huge master bath with steam shower and a stand alone tub. There is a washer dryer on this floor. Another bedroom has king bed, full bath, and entrance to the back itself in case you want to sneak in late. Another bedroom also without a bathroom inside but there's one across the hall. Did I mention that bathrooms have robes and slippers? And that the floors are heated? And that the bedrooms have fireplaces? It's truueeee! Then we have the top floor with an awesome kitchen with top of the line appliances and everything you need. And a nice sized living/ dining area along with a bar too. The patio outside is a superstar! Lots of furniture. Hot tub!! Grill!! Views or the mountain and town. The guy that met us and showed us the House was a wealth of info. And we were greeted with a gift basket in the upstairs and downstairs kitchens with wine, bread, a box full of chocolate treats, cheese, coffee, etc. Basically, you feel like the queen (or king) of the mountain if you stay at Heart of Telluride. This is the only way to do it!!

We are currently staying with you, and are having the absolute worst time…read more We have stayed with you all before, and had a lovely experience (room 106). Upon booking with Ryan Phillips in March, I was under the impression we would be in the same room- a fireplace, normal size kitchen.... We arrived on Monday to an upstairs room: as I have an infant, this was not an appropriate room assignment (going up and down with strollers..). So, we were immediately reassigned to 105. I am so upset with the state of this room. It is worse than a Holiday Inn. If I was provided with room specs/description, I would have never purchased this room. There is mold and cracking paint all over the bathroom/shower. There was long black hair all over the bathroom floor. The fridge was on the lowest setting, and we woke up to a fridge full of frozen food, of which we spent $370 in purchasing/ is now needing to be thawed in order to be eaten. The bed had long black hair on the sheets, and the orange duvet has a large reddish yellow stain.. It feels like an extremely run down hotel room-- night and day from our experience last time. No room to move, extremely cramped... 200 sq for probably Furthermore, I was charged $230+/- for tomorrow. We were considering staying another night (tomorrow), but because of our experience to date, we have elected not to extend our stay. When I called and spoke with the front desk and the supervisor this morning, they were reversing the charge. I called five minutes ago to follow up on the status, and they said it'll be refunded in 7 to 14 days!.. Not the normal 3-5 business day turnaround. The supervisor I spoke with this morning was so discourteous. The front desk representatives are lacking in customer service to say the least, and this is an understatement. I am honestly so upset we stayed with you all, and feel this has been a complete waste in time, energy and money. I expect so much more.. If I could give 0 stars, I would

Defaming and/or slandering myself and my business reputation, which is irreleveant to this situation and a clear attempt to retaliate against me and my livelihood. This speaks volumes to his reputation and character. I never leave negative reviews for AirBnb, but this experience warrants a warning. The unit had no hot water, no functional fan controls, no AC, and no windows that opened -- making the stay extremely uncomfortable. I reached out before ever considering leaving a review. This host has indicated that I used a negative review as a manipulation tactic which is possible defamation or slanderous statements. All the receipts are there to show I tried to work it out first, then was met with the following uncalled for actions. Because of a flaw with Airbnb and their new resolution center, when the host declined my resolution I was asked by Airbnb to enter a new resolution. So I did this. The host then used this against me and said it was coercion. This is again defamation and/or slanderous statements. I even informed the host Airbnb asked me to do this, because they needed a case open in the system to help me. The host publicly claimed I 'checked in early without permission.' This is false -- I have written confirmation from his team explicitly inviting me to 'check in anytime' because the unit was ready. See attached photo. When I reported the issues, instead of addressing them professionally, the host became combative, insulting, and tried to shift blame. He drove from across the state unannounced, acted as though the problems were my fault, and when I pointed this out as his job he became very combative. He then accused me of being discriminatory when I pointed out that he should take responsibility rather than passing it to staff. This was completely inaccurate and defamation at minimum. Perhaps a lawsuit should be considered? I've stayed in Airbnbs worldwide without incident. This was the most unprofessional and disrespectful interaction I've experienced. Potential guests should be aware: with Vivid Vacation Rentals, you risk being insulted, blamed, and dismissed rather than helped

(Thank you to the InvitedHome corporate team and our travel advisor.) We had a bumpy first few days with the local Telluride InvitedHome team, and I'm guessing our rental was the first of the season for that house. It would make for a much better guest experience to have operational checks before guests arrival, and maybe an inspection process of all the advertised amenities prior to the first rental of the season. A few tweaks to the service end for quality control and this would greatly add value to the rental experience. On check-in day, we received a message that the house was ready for our arrival, but on our arrival, housekeeping was still in progress. A personal call to say there is a delay would have been much better than saying it's ready, when it isn't. Once we were in and settled, several things went array from our guest portal not being set up, empty propane tanks, dirty unusable hot-tub, broken windows, followed the security alarm sounding and the printed code not working, the kitchen sink water hose breaking, and quirky functionality of the outdoor fire pit and grill that made for limited use. The best way I can explain our experience is, the attention to detail was missing, but expected at the cost of this level of service. On a positive note, our requests for maintenance was prompt, which was greatly appreciated. One of the maintenance workers shared that each homeowner is different and the owner of our particular rental has requested to only fix what's broken, leaving things that are just an inconvenience, as is. While the local Telluride InvitedHome was lack-luster, the corporate team was responsive. While it was disappointing to spend hours of vacation time coordinating our time for maintenance folks to come and go over the first three days, we had an amazing family vacation.

The owner had changed management companies to Invitedhome after we booked with the understanding that our contract was still good. They never asked that the contract be canceled or re-booked with Invitedhome. Our large group showed up, but we were delayed getting in because the old management company had the wrong codes. They had been changed. The owner provided the new codes, confirming our contract was still good. After settling in and enjoying the next day, we were informed through the old management company that Invitedhome had double-booked the place. If we were not out by 10 a.m. the next morning, Invitedhome would call the police, and we would be forcibly removed! Fortunately, the old management company moved us to a better property in the area. However, we lost one of five nights in Telluride to the stress of moving and resettling in another home. It is unconscionable that Invitedhome would break our contract after we moved in and then threaten to have us thrown out on the street. I strongly encourage everyone to look elsewhere, whether you are an owner or renter.

It does appear they may have renovated the downstairs common area. There is plenty of lounge seating, a fireplace and light oks like you can host a small gathering. We walked in and the front desk clerk who worked Wednesday was very friendly and even walked the luggage cart down to the garage for us. There is an underground garage that has shared space with the hotel condos. But it is $20 a day to park. I'm not sure if there is an alternative space outside to park overnight. The king room was very spacious and has a fireplace. Our friends stayed in the queen size room which was much smaller and no fireplace. There is plenty of seating in the room and has a large bathroom, wardrobe closet, 2 dressers and dining table. There is a large tv but unfortunately the WiFi is a bit sketchy so we could watch much tv. We even had a small balcony. The bed was very comfortable. Pillows not so much. Plenty of linens. There is a ski valet which is open from 8:30am to 4:30pm which is so nice to have available. We came down the hill late one afternoon and left our equipment outside the valet room. They were safe and sound inside the valet the next day. We had the nicest ski valets taking care of us, Jake and Miller. The hotel provides a free continental breakfast from 7:30am to 9:30am. Bagels & salmon, toast, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee. The breakfast staff were very friendly. There is a nice pool and jacuzzi with views. A bar/restaurant is attached to the hotel which is convenient. Clearly a locals favorite. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Telluride.

The common areas seem to have been renovated, especially the lounge on the main level. Nice furniture and ambiance with the fireplace and various seating options. For the price this is one of the best deals in town. While it's by no means a modern hotel or resort, and is in fact a bit more on the basic side and a little outdated, you can't beat the location right next to the main Telluride lift and being right in downtown Telluride. I prefer staying here over Mountain Village as things shut down much earlier out that way. If I could have only a couple small suggestions it would be to see how they can get the rooms to not warm up so quickly (it was 10 degrees outside and I had the heat set to 64 and it kept going up to around 70 so I had to open a window). Then it was hard keeping a consistent temperature and I had to get up a couple of times during the night. The television steaming is very inconsistent and buffers or turns off for a few seconds, every few minutes. They also need refrigerators in the room. The beds are very comfortable but the pillows are mediocre. The giant tub is awesome as is the overall size of the room. The hot tub area just wasn't too appealing as the jets weren't strong enough and to get any jets you had to sit out of the tub with only half of your body submerged. It was awkward. Big hot tub but poor design. Needs to be a bit hotter and needs actual jets for both the low back and calves. I would recommend Camel's Garden Hotel to the middle to upper middle income skier who appreciates a great location and an ok experience. If you are fancy or rich then look at one of the boutique properties elsewhere.
