Dave and his team are masters of their craft. I took delivery of a 2024 Alpine White M3 and it came from the dealership with a bunch of blemishes on my front and rear driver side doors. They polished it out to the point where you wouldn't even know it was there in the first place. They wrapped my whole car in PPF (rockers and splitters included) + ceramic coat, tinted all 6 windows, and ceramic coated the wheels and brake pads. This review is long overdue, I found David about a year ago after buying my Infiniti. It was the first car I've purchased that was not black, but the price for the package on the car made me not think twice about purchasing a silver ride. After a few weeks of driving a silver car, I began having an identity crisis when everyone I knew expressed how weird it was for me to be in anything other than a black car. One of my friends suggested getting my car wrapped. I had never had a car wrapped and had very few friends to ask about maintenance, longevity, and more importantly, trusted shops in the area. I did my research and found some of the "go-to" shops in the area: VinylStylez, WerkShop, and SS Customs, I was all but ready to go with SS Customs until I found Alphawerks and the great reviews on David's work. I called David up and knew by the end of our convo that I was going to have him wrap my car. I was sold on David's integrity and professionalism, not once did he try to sway me from the other competitors and he acknowledged that "I'd be in good hands" with whichever shop I decide to go with. I was lucky enough to catch David at the tail-end of a job so I was next in the queue. Upon dropping my car off to David, I quickly learned that he was very passionate about his work and customer service. David listened to my vision for the car and expanded on my idea, he provided so much detail and truly enhanced my plans. I decided to get a satin black 3M wrap, Chrome delete, gloss black roof, and Rayno Tints. I also purchased a blacked-out grille that David installed for me as well. Overall I am abundantly pleased with the outcome of my car and can't tell you the number of compliments I get while driving. I recommend David and plug Alphawerks whenever I get a chance. Finding a good car shop you can trust with vinyl wrapping and tinting isn't easy. Trying to find one you can trust during COVID is near impossible. Sporadic service operating dates. Lack of supplies. Scheduling mishaps. This shop and David made it possible to get work done after almost a year of searching and waiting. (A year because COVID hit mid search ) They offered chrome deletes, tint (18%) and a matte wrap on a Tesla at a price point and warranty that was unmatched in San José and the surrounding Santa Clara area. Warranty is for life! A competing quote I got for a wrap was 2x as much. Even an acquaintance with their own shop couldn't quote near this shops range. I was actually shocked that they'd priced well above what Alpha quoted us. The tint for the windows was half the price I paid for the 12% on my Acura. Wish I would've waited! Dropped off the car late Monday before 8pm and picked it up the next evening. Warned us not to roll down the window for two days and that if there were any air bubbles to lightly push them down. Said it was normal because it was just done. Shop is in an industrial area at the very end of the line up. Close to the freeway exits so access was easy coming from and leaving to the East Side Hills. Highly recommend this spot! read more

Since we were sheltered-in-place for COVID, I didn't mind letting him take his time to work on the car. I did a full body wrap on my Tesla Model 3 + chrome delete and calipers. He also wrapped my aftermarket front lip, installed my carbon fiber spoiler and wrapped my center console! These guys are the real MVPs. Seriously, they saved my car. I moved to San Jose July 2020 and in my complex, I was parked right next to the sprinkler system. After nearly 2 years, the hard water build was extreme and I needed some serious help getting the paint looking right again. After calling around to a couple spots, I brought my car here to check it out. What I appreciate the most, is their level of honesty. Right off the bat they told me not to waste my money until I got the sprinkler situation addressed with my HOA. They could have easily taken my car right away and done the work... but instead they worked with me to ensure we addressed the long term issue. After a couple weeks I brought my car back (HOA took care of the sprinkler) and they contacted me pretty much every day with an update. At one point, Dave and Arun called me to tell me there is a chance they won't be able to polish the build up off the car (due to how embedded it was within in the clear coat) and wanted to discuss options before moving forward with the ceramic coat (again, saving me money so I don't have to repeat the process). After another day, I got the call I was waiting for..."Your car is ready, and he's beautiful." I was worried when I showed up. The build up was BAD (see pics) and I didn't know what to expect. What I saw was utter perfection. The car looked better than the day I picked it up from the dealership. I could not be happier with the work they did on my car. I literally called 13 tint shops in the Bay Area and non of them had what I needed. I needed red vinyl tint to red out my tail lights. Absolute pros. In general I enjoy working with or giving my business to people who enjoy what they do. That's usually an indicator they take great care and pride in their work. That's definitely the case here. Shopped around for pricing to a few shops after buying my car with zero miles on it. I had one shot at getting it right and locking my paint in so for me the right shop was critical. Most were all over the place in terms of pricing and offerings with varying packages that didn't really fit what I was looking for or needed. I did my research and pretty much knew what I wanted or was in the market for but was open to hearing about what products they use, quality, etc. Called up Dave at Alphawerks who was super helpful and knowledgeable. He walked me through their services, pricing, and the inside market standards for the services I wanted. From shopping around the pricing was more than fair, so much so I ended up getting my tint as well. All of the products they use are high in standard and the application is flawless. They quoted me 2 days to do a 10h ceramic coat with iGN Kenzo Quartz+. 2 days to clean, polish, dry and cure. Most places won't polish or detail the car prior to the application of the coat but these guys did. After I opted into doing a tint while they were at it, they mentioned it might be an extra day at the latest but would push to get it back to me on the original time. They were still able to keep the 2 day turn around time and get my ride back to me which was great. Upon picking it up, the car looked like absolute glass and the tint was perfect. Not too light and not too dark, just what I wanted at 50% tint.
