My kitchen sink was backed up with all sorts of gunk that no human beings have ever seen. Obviously the 1st person I called was Steve. 11 am next day Steve snaked the line, replace my corroded sink flange and baffle. I also asked him to check and clean my outdoor drainage line since my dogs often use it as their bathroom; he honestly let me know it didn't need servicing, no upselling at all. The price was incredibly fair and probably lower than most. During the installation of the flange, the one I bought was too short for my deep sink setup. Steve drove 28 miles round trip, on a Friday's traffic in LA, to a specialty plumbing supply store to source the exact part needed to finish the job perfectly; no additional charges. To top it all off, he left my under sink cabinet cleaner and neater than it was before starting. In need of brand new pipes from your kitchen yo the backyard without breaking ground in your home,…read moreor CIPP lining from bathroom to backyard sewer line without breaking the bank, call Art, owner of Sewerman, ASAP. What are you waiting for! Art did all this extensive work at the old home I just bought in the San Fernando Valley. Before meeting Art, I had already spoken to two different plumbers and had received their bids. The first plumber, recommended by someone I know, was nice and professional but man was he pushy. He immediately said I needed to replace all the pipes without doing a thorough check. The second plumber did a thorough check but his price was ridiculously expensive. I was becoming discouraged, thinking there are no good plumbers out there, until I met Art. First of all, Art is an easy going, down to earth professional. He walked me through the whole process and showed me my pipes with his pipe camera. He advised that the pipes were corroded but may be saved by CIPP (epoxy lining within the pipe), but we wont know until we descale the pipes. If we descale and see substantial damage, then pipe would need to be replaced entirely, as Art advised. He was able to salvage the bathroom to backyard pipes by CIPP but had to replace the kitchen pipes to the backyard (I saw on camera how the descaled corroded pipe was beyond repair). He saved me a lot of money by not having to break ground inside the home and instead rerouting the pipe entirely through the side of the house and backyard. The job was extensive, requiring 3 days to complete and having to break concrete outside on the side of the house and dig large holes in the backyard (look at my pictures). But they did an excellent job putting brand new high quality pipes that will last a lifetime, redoing the concrete, and even saving my grass and putting back as if no worked had been performed. Despite all this work, his price was excellent. Art also saved me from a major potential problem. Just yesterday the sink to my main bathroom was clogged --and this was the day before I was having my family over to celebrate my dad's birthday and housewarming party. I called Art and he came to the rescue! He had to remove the p-trap to get to the root of the problem and in doing so, he saw the p-trap was old and breaking into pieces (looks like the previous owner had never changed it). What's more, there was a very hard substance in the p-trap which he had to scrape off with a large flat head screwdriver and a large plumber's wrench, which he used as a hammer to get rid of that very hard substance. Art was able to remove it after using elbow grease, and he replaced the p-trap with a brand new one. Almost forgot to mention that Art was able to install my washer and dryer, including buying brand new hoses and valves for the cold and hot water. Knowing that I found a plumber for life makes me sleep much better at night. Art is the best in the trade. I highly recommend him.

Since our old plumber didn't know anything about fixing/repairing things that are not working properly, I had to look around and found this company. This is a family owned business that has been around for over 30 years. They specialize in fixing sinks, toilets, drain stoppers, main line stoppers, garbage disposals, dishwashers, kitchen water lines, and more.. I used this company twice before. Once for my sink's garbage disposal, and the other time was for the sinks in both of my bathrooms. My landlord bought this cheap faucet that they use at fast food chain restaurants, and didn't do anything with the valve or the damages, that was caused by the leaks that literally became to be a lake in both bathrooms. My cleaning supplies, toilet papers, paper towels that I keep under my sink were SO wet along with both floors. The job that those 2 guys did in an hour and a half, took my old plumber to do in 5 hours and was still not fixed. It was like putting a band-aid on a wound. The process was so fast, seamless, and professional.. I am so grateful that I found this plumbing company that did an exceptional, excellent job for both my bathrooms, and my garbage disposal in my kitchen. Since my landlord didn't want to pay for it, we paid $800.00 out of pocket and I deducted from our rent. It was a mess, now everything is fixed, looks nice and clean. Shout out to their secretary too. She gave us an estimated time and date and both guys were in front of my door 10 minutes prior. 10/10. Open 24/7 for our convenience.. Our front bathtub began backing up on Saturday, August 1, and my usual attempts to clear the…read moreblockage weren't working. I requested estimates from several plumbers, and A-Team Plumbing Services stood out by offering to clear the blockage for a flat $49. Thinking this would be a relatively simple drain-clearing job, I scheduled them to come out that morning. Giulio arrived right on time and attempted to snake the tub drain, but unfortunately the blockage wouldn't clear. He then asked whether we had a cleanout somewhere on the property. We weren't aware of one, so he went underneath the house to investigate the plumbing. What he found was quite a bit more complicated than a simple clog. There was a cracked pipe, aging cast iron, improperly installed and graded ABS, and poorly sealed joints. Essentially, our drainage system was a "Frankenstein" assembly of old and new plumbing that had been pieced together over many decades. While it was still technically functioning, it was clear that we were eventually going to have a much more serious--and potentially much more expensive--problem. The team also brought in a camera to inspect portions of the system, and during that process they discovered a deceased rat inside one of the pipes. Not exactly what you hope to find under your house, but it was another indication of just how much had accumulated and gone wrong with the old system over the years. We ultimately decided to have A-Team install a bullhorn cleanout along the side of the house, which required jackhammering through the concrete. This gives us much better access to the drainage system for future maintenance. Robert, the owner, then came out personally to evaluate the remainder of the system and provide an estimate. Although the larger project was certainly not inexpensive, Robert's proposal made sense: replace the old, mismatched plumbing with a completely new, uniform, properly installed drainage system serving both bathrooms, the kitchen, and the laundry area. We decided it made more sense to address the underlying problems now rather than wait for a major failure later. The work took about five days overall, with roughly three days devoted to re-piping everything under the house. The A-Team crew was extremely professional, courteous, and thoughtful about working in and around our home. They clearly took care with the work and with our property. Robert also offered, at no additional charge, to install a recessed box in the laundry area that would better contain the hot and cold water connections for the washing machine. We ultimately declined because doing so would have required moving the machines and cutting into the wall--and, frankly, we already had enough going on with the plumbing project! Still, we appreciated the offer and the fact that he was thinking about ways to improve the finished installation. Robert's sons, Stevie and Benjamin, helped manage portions of the project from the main office and were very responsive to our questions and text messages throughout the process. We're very happy with the finished result. We now have a completely new and properly installed drainage system rather than continuing to rely on a collection of aging and poorly configured pipes. The project also includes a 10-year parts-and-labor warranty and a two-year clog-free warranty, which gives us considerable peace of mind. What began as a $49 attempt to clear a clogged bathtub turned into a much larger plumbing project, but we're ultimately glad we called A-Team. Giulio's willingness to investigate the underlying problem rather than simply clear the immediate symptom was what led us to discover the condition of the existing system in the first place. We're pleased with the work and would recommend A-Team Plumbing Services to others.
