Compared The Plumb Hero with 3 other plumbers, and all had about the same pricing, but The Plumb Hero co-owner, Jaron, noticed a potential fire hazard from the same piping that was installed on the water heater, and replaced it with the copper piping that is required by code, as well as installing an expansion tank on the heater, all included in my original quote. Most importantly to me, after installing the proper copper piping on the water heater, he was honest when he told me that the old water heater piping didn't look bad, which assuaged my concern about having to re-pipe the entire house at this time. This honesty in a world of scammers was refreshing and really appreciated. Have already recommended this company to all of my neighbors. The other 3 other highly recommended plumbers on Yelp, all with 4.5 stars and up, all seemed knowledgeable and friendly, but I went with The Plumb Hero because they got back to me the fastest with the quote--same day as the inspection--and I could tell Jaron really loves what he does. They were professional, knowledgeable, and fast. They're also very close to Lawrenceville and confirmed that I wouldn't have to pay a service fee the day of the initial inspection.
