So I've only been for my initial appointment and the young lady that helped me was very kind and very sweet. She seemed knowledgeable about my surgery and what would be required to prepare for it and to recover from it. So I am looking forward to the aqua therapy and the post surgery therapy and hope that I can move on with my life and get back to being able to walk again with their help

When I first got there, I was having trouble walking up stairs without pain. By the time I left, my legs were much stronger and the pain in my knee had subsided considerably. They also sent me out into the world with the knowledge of how to continue getting better and a repertoire of exercises to go along with that. I never once dreaded going there, and even came to look forward to it even though it was hard work. This was due to the staff and the positive environment that they have created over there. Good people who do great work. Print it.

I…read morehad therapy years ago with great success for a knee injury, however was instructed by my ortho to visit a PT nearest me. This was a big mistake and an awakening. I went to Excel for 2 visits and I was very disappointed. The initial visit was an assessment, which is fair enough. The second visit was incredibly disappointing. I did a few leg lifts and a couple of stretches and then handed over my hard earned money with a list of more appointments. After sitting with that for a day, I cancelled all of those appointments and hired a personal trainer for about half the cost of what I was paying to be instructed to do a few leg lifts and a few stretches. Luckily my injury is a minor sports injury so this option just made sense. If i truly need PT in the future, i will be looking for serious reccommendations before parting with my $$$.

Despite being a busy Friday night, every provider from start to finish was polite and genuinely concerned about her health as she had previously been misdiagnosed elsewhere. She was treated by RNP Russ Dufresne, who is an asset to both this center and the medical profession as a whole. I'm a first responder and I've never witnessed such thorough treatment in action. If we didn't reside over two hours away, I'd want him as our PCP. Thanks to him, my daughter is finally recovering.

When I was here last, I was in and out in about 1 hr. The visit today, was another story. I was told there were only 3 people ahead of me. However, I spent over 3 hrs, waiting and waiting and waiting. I waited for the doctor, I waited for the phlebotomist, then I waited for results... Which didn't show anything. Nearly 4 hrs is a long time to wait. The doctor discharged 3 other people who came in after me ahead of me. He said, "sorry, I went to the wrong room" when he finally returned. I had asked another staff member to check on the wait and she did not ever come back to give me an update or let him know I was waiting. When the nurse came to discharge me, she gave me a diagnosis that he had not shared with me. She went back to ask the doctor and learned that the diagnosis listed was incorrect. He then listed another diagnosis on my paperwork, which is also incorrect. The entire experience was frustrating.

Her attitude was total garbage and I will not make the mistake of going into that store again. I probably do need Arch supports. I might even go to a Good Feet store again now that I know what the product actually is. But I won't be going to this location because I don't want to run into that woman again. She could have made $155 sale by just selling me the damn shoes that I wanted.

She researched what my doctor wanted for me to do at physical therapy and has kept up-to-date with that as the weeks progress. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. She can be very gentle when she wants to be and a little tougher when that's what needs to happen. I felt safe walking in there that first time because they did have the plexiglass up and everyone wore masks. Bonnie always wears a mask during my therapy as do I. It makes me feel safer. This is a small business and I was looking for that. I had gone larger chain group in Rhode Island for my knees and I found that they would schedule me for appointment and then have me do some exercises while they worked on someone else. I was not looking for that and I was happy to find Bonnie at Gaffney physical therapy.

Their location is near the highway and highly accessible from many different roads. They are located in a fairly new, clean location that is well maintained and offers ample parking. Their office is on the second floor and easy to reach, unlike some hospitals or medical buildings that seem like a labyrinth. While the therapists at Pappas deserve high praise, what makes this office unique is their availability. Every time I was injured or needing care, I was always greeted by courteous staff that got me in at the very longest within 24 hours, and often, upon my doctors' recommendation, on the same day. The staff is highly knowledgeable, athletic and above all fit appearing; nothing against those who are overweight but I don't want to hear about how to take care of my body from someone who obviously does not. Their advice is spot on, their excercise recommendations are commensurate with a person's physical conditioning and symptoms. The location offers various other treatment modalities, one of which was some kind of infra red treatment. They also have a gym where the therapists double up as personal trainers, catering to a less physically fit crowd that wishes to get back into shape. Another issue that I found very reassuring about the ethics of Pappas' staff is that as soon as I start to improve, since I am athletic and know my way around the workouts, they often recommend just continuing the excercises at home and don't make me keep coming back so I don't pay a ton of copayments. I have been to various therapists through the years as recommended by different doctors in my stages of life and levels of athleticism. I even was under the care of some therapists through a varsity college team. By far, Pappas has done it the best for me and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I've never seen someone so rude in a medical setting it's unbelievable and the way she was swearing ridiculous. My friend said she'll never go back to a papas knowing she works with the company. Might need to have her do some training on how to be towards patients and employees what she says and does is not ok.

The express is really handy if you need a quick examination or x-ray after an injury and is so much better than going to an emergency room or even a walk-in with sick people coughing all over you.

My husband had surgery yesterday. Check in at 10am. We pull up and what a beautiful facility!…read more Modern & clean. In the waiting are for 10 minutes (not bad!) In pre-op for 2.5 hours! Our nurse was nice but a we both agree she was a warm body. She thought after being with us for a little while that he was having a different surgery? Red Flags! She cleaned the wrong area for the surgery. He wasn't shaved until the eleventh hour. As we sat and joked around waiting... we overheard a lot of nurses conversation. I heard multiple swears. My husband made a comment about professionalism. He doesn't much comment about those things. His 'hospital' bracelet had a little piece attached to it that would sent me updates, which helped alerting me when he was out of surgery and could receive visitors. I loved this aspect. Recovery was great. Nurses were informative and helpful. Overall not a terrible experience by any means.
