He was very inconsistent in following commands and we were always scared he would dart out the door to chase the rabbits in our yard. We were never able to bring Kane out with us for fear that he would attack someone. We were resigned to the fact that our dog was just always going to be like this. All of those worries are now totally behind us. Kane is a totally different dog. He is eager to follow commands and is no longer aggressive towards dogs or people. Last night he was in our yard with 4 kids petting him and he calmly sat in the grass and enjoyed the love. I anticipated letting my husband do the actual training and just watch, but he made it look so easy that I volunteered to try walking him. wow, to say I was shocked and pleased is an understatement. I will be putting in some steps over the next couple of weeks to reinforce my training, but I already feel confident with what he has taught us. in 3 sessions our dog no longer jumps on us, has played with Brennans dog with no aggression, and was able to walk nicely for an hour with people and even dogs passing us.
