I go to pick up Hudson yesterday and Sydney (new groomer)says to me, the man(Tim) who dropped Hudson off is banned from coming in here. I was so shocked I said... why. She said he always comes in swearing at everyone and raising his voice. What in the world??? This is the first time Tim dropped them off. Mom or I always take them. Mom had eye surgery so Tim took him. He called the store to find out what was going on. He said Sydney was getting all smart mouthed with him and wouldn't let him talk. He hung up on her. A case of mistaken identity obviously. Never ever has a company treated us like this. We spend over $500 a month there getting our pets groomed once a month, dog food, treats etc.

So my husband started Googling and found Knucklehead K9. He called & left a msg and Tony called us back within minutes! He gave us all the details of his programs and pricing, and we setup an appt. From the first session Tony set the tone and showed Yolo who was in charge. We were astonished at how quickly he got our dog to listen with just patience, clear direction & treats! I pay for a few extra perks for my boy, like one or two nature walks a day. There's a play yard for supervised play with the other dogs. I can go on vacation or just a weekend knowing he is not in a small kennel most of the day and is in good hands. I'd say $$ in general plus whatever extras you may want. I highly recommend

It was also nice to see dogs out for walks every time we visited whether for drop off or pick up. They offer a wonderful assortment of ways to 'keep in touch'. We also appreciated the convenience of their texting line for their questions etc. Despite our dog's tendency to be timid / slow to warm up they met him where he was and made it a nice stay. The wait was terrible, especially for it only being my pet and one other pet there. They sat there as my dog was bleeding from his mouth everywhere, very little compassion, only focusing on how we'd be able to pay. Mind you there aren't very many "emergency" pet hospitals around. I drove 30 minutes to sit for 2 hours trying to figure out how we'd be able to pay them. And then another hour after finally being able to find enough money, while they did what they needed to do. Got there at 10:30 and left around 1. I'd rather drive 5 hours to a different hospital that would allow payment plans rather than go to this place ever again... Disappointing.
