Jackie's creativity shines in the training programs as well, which are both effective and engaging. Nittany is an apprehensive and timid dog. It was also nice to see dogs out for walks every time we visited whether for drop off or pick up. They offer a wonderful assortment of ways to 'keep in touch'. In addition to the extras we signed up for we appreciated their private FB page - it was fun seeing our dog in the action pics! We also appreciated the convenience of their texting line for their questions etc. Despite our dog's tendency to be timid / slow to warm up they met him where he was and made it a nice stay. He was not stressed at all after the experience and we easily picked up our normal routine when we got home. We would book again without any hesitation.

The first time we met, she sat on the floor, and my pets (a cat and a dog) flocked to her like Snow White...they just love her. She is easy to work with, loves animals, and is wonderful with them. She does both pet sitting as well as dog walking - and she's as great with my old cat as my puppy. The thing that impressed me most was her approach to my puppy, Maggie, who has cancer. Sometimes she has a bad odor by her cancer area, or has bad days, but Courtney is wonderful with her...and so positive. They have fun, go for walks, etc. It's really great to see. Anyway, if you need a pet sitter or dog walking in Lancaster or Lititz, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ducey Dog Walking. I explained how Layla always pulls on her leash and can be anxious around new people and dogs she has never met. Dana gave me the tips on how to alleviate these issues. She showed me her training leash, which was included in her fee for me to keep. Her techniques has Layla walking calmly without pulling in minutes. Dana even was able to get Layla to stay for several minutes! We trained inside and out and I was amazed at how quickly Layla was able to understand the expectations and comply with her requests! We put out baby to bed on a Saturday night and by Sunday morning she was bleeding bad. I called him early that morning and he said I will be right over, which meant him getting out of bed early on a Sunday morning to drive to our house in the rain, and he let her go to her next journey in life. This was 10 years ago. I cannot tell you enough that Dr. Amin showed so much compassion to us and our baby and has continued to do so with all our babies. Now, I just saw a post for 12/29/25, and I found this post to be very upsetting. Never in all my years of going to Dr. Amin and I might say my first visit with him as well, did he say we ask to many questions. I have never found him to be of the culture of getting money out of the patient. In fact, he has always been about saving his patients money. So, for this person to state something so negative is absolutely absurd. So, with my ending statement on this matter, it is a good thing you did find another vet, as you are not worthy of such an amazing vet. Dr. Amin is one of the most caring vets I have met.
