Minus 1 star Decent location that is oftentimes busy for which one cashier is not enough. Grooming section always appears busy, so they must be doing a good job in there. Dog obedience classes seem to be full as well, so it seems like this store has most it mostly together. Email coupons and specials are what really get me to go here, but sometimes saving a buck or two doesn't matter if you need litter or food right away. Otherwise there is a huge variety of pet supplies for nearly any domesticated pet. They also have an adoption center and I like to see the kitties once in a while, just to see how cute they are. Convenient location and good prices are the main reasons I shop here.

From the first session Tony set the tone and showed Yolo who was in charge. We were astonished at how quickly he got our dog to listen with just patience, clear direction & treats! My husband and I needed the most training lol! Tony really understands dogs and how they think. He rewards with treats and praise for good behavior and corrects with firm direction for negative behavior. He really taught us how to be our dog's leader. We really liked his training techniques and learned SO much! He is very straight forward and does not sugar coat. It is truly about the owners being consistent and firm. So I hate to do this. But ever since Greenlin took over this location I have been beyond…read moredisappointed. When it was Keystone, I paid $5000 for a two week board and train. The results were amazing! We have a 1 1/2 year old Boxer puppy...by definition he is a spaz. At Keystone, they welcomed him with open arms and understood he was just a baby. Once Greenlin took over, it went downhill FAST. We paid about $275 for a daycare package. The staff decided he was too energetic and required him to have more training. This cost us $50 EVERY SINGLE TIME he is there. They don't deduct from the package, this is further out of pocket. So, we pay $50 per visit for him to be on a leash and nowhere near the other dogs. A staff member told us they believe this has been blown way out of proportion and that he doesn't need additional training. They also say if it were their dog, they would go elsewhere. This speaks volumes to me. He's a freaking puppy without a mean bone in his body! My husband called and left a message asking for a refund of the daycare package WE PAID FOR AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED. Can you guess if we got a call back? Of course we didn't. So, guess what? They are losing our business and I will be sure to let everyone I know how we and our puppy have been treated. They rob you of your original $ and look at you as a cash cow. You won't be looking at our puppy (or us) as cash cows anymore. Extremely pissed off and disappointed in this place! Avoid at all costs unless you want to be ripped off like us.

I anticipated letting my husband do the actual training and just watch, but he made it look so easy that I volunteered to try walking him. wow, to say I was shocked and pleased is an understatement. I will be putting in some steps over the next couple of weeks to reinforce my training, but I already feel confident with what he has taught us. in 3 sessions our dog no longer jumps on us, has played with Brennans dog with no aggression, and was able to walk nicely for an hour with people and even dogs passing us. I saw several of them looking my way, but no one came so I could pay for my purchase. After 10 minutes, I left the food on the counter and went to PetSmart! From now on, PetSmart will get my business. No one seemed to care that I stood there. It was like I was invisible. Please don't insult me by responding to this with one of your rote replies telling me how this is not your standard and how you will share it with your Team. I've seen the other reviews and obviously sharing complaints with your Team doesn't work! I hope corporate checks these reviews and does something about it, but I doubt it!

It was also nice to see dogs out for walks every time we visited whether for drop off or pick up. They offer a wonderful assortment of ways to 'keep in touch'. In addition to the extras we signed up for we appreciated their private FB page - it was fun seeing our dog in the action pics! We also appreciated the convenience of their texting line for their questions etc. Despite our dog's tendency to be timid / slow to warm up they met him where he was and made it a nice stay. He was not stressed at all after the experience and we easily picked up our normal routine when we got home. We would book again without any hesitation.

There are several sizes of "rooms" for different sized dogs. When I forgot my dog's sleeping blanket, Riversides lent her a blanket. When I forgot a favorite toy, they gave her one. I like that I can buy her "extras" such as a peanut-butter-filled kong or a walk along the river.I like that Riversides also has grooming services. Most of all, I'm thrilled that my dog likes it at Riversides and that she is getting great care there. I heartily recommend this kennel.
