Employees attitude was horrible the day i was in there. They didn't know where anything was, and got angry with customers for asking about things. Well organized store and plenty' of stock. No idea why a store that was busy would only have one cashier. I tried to signup for a rewards card when I arrived at register and cashier said we will do this after purchase. Well since I didn't have a rewards card, the purchase was not added to the program. She advised I would need to contact the rewards department to get them added. What a mess. Additionally, the cashier put is the wrong phone number I gave hero when I went to petsmart, they couldn't find my rewards. Finally found out the number was wrong,, and amazing,, the first purchase is still not there. read more

I strongly disapprove of going to the groomers at this location. There were three girls working and we made an appointment for our male sheltie here (bath, haircut, and a shedding treatment). We left him for about an hour there before getting a call from the groomers. They stated that they'd have to shave his entire body due to matting. We were strongly against this as it would ruin his natural coat, so we said that they couldn't shave him and that they could do as best as they could and we would be happy with it. The woman on the phone then stated that they couldn't bathe him because it would make the mats worse and that they had been working with it for 45 minutes. We arrived not even ten minutes later because they said they couldn't do anything else for him. When we walked in it was obvious that they hadn't even tried to cut his hair or make the places where they cut off the mats less obvious. It honestly looks like an amateur cut his hair instead of a groomer. One of the groomers then stated that she had one of her shelties die because it overheated during the summer (I don't think comment was very appropriate in this situation and felt like it was almost a way to manipulate us into letting we shave him yet again), which was why she wanted to shave him. Due to the choppy cut and poor communication I strongly suggest you go somewhere else. read more

Not 100% happy with the grooming department. If a customer makes an appointment to bring their dog in to get groomed why tell us 4-5 hours and still accept walk ins. Treat the dog that made the appointment first. I hate having my dog crated for 4-5 hours for no reason. read more

The store reaks of urine. I had to walk up and down the aisles to find an employee for assistance. I waited until they were finished their conversation since it seemed that was more important than assisting customers. Rachel was not only unpleasant, but her appearance was offensive and totally unprofessional even for an odorous pet store. Steer clear of this place it is disgusting. Rachel attempted to lecture me about the importance of buying a 55 gallon tank for a 2 inch pleco fish. I was puzzled because there were 15 plecos in their 20 gallon tank. I decided to shop at another company after her rant. Petsmart's online reputation is in the toilet and this store smells like one. read more

We just adopted a rescue Jack Russell Terrier and we immediately made a list of items we needed: adjustable height metal dog food and water dishes, training treats, natural dog food, healthy and safe dog toys, etc. When I first walked in, I was a little lost. But a woman named Annette who was stocking shelves asked to help me and she did. As I went down the list, she took me directly to each item, explained the differences between items, and put them in a cart for me. She was a real gem. If her manager is reading this, GIVE HER A RAISE. As long as people like her are there, I will go to this PetSmart to shop for everything for my pup. read more

The PetSmart chain is usually pretty consistent and this location is no exception. It is clean and well organized. The staff is very helpful and always willing to help you find what you are looking for. I have seen the same employees for several years so it must be a pretty good place to work! I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 chinchillas and buy food, housing, beds, toys, etc from here when I don't have time to buy online. PetSmart almost always has what I am looking for but the prices are a bit higher than what you can pay on Amazon except for food and cat litter. When the brand of dog food I buy goes on sale, which is frequently, I stock up because i can't get it cheaper anywhere else. I have taken my dogs to the grooming salon and I have been pretty happy with the results. I have never had a bad experience but I do notice that different groomers seem to do a better job than others. Either way paying $30 to get my 75 pound lab bathed, brushed, nails trimmed and smelling great is worth it! They do base the price on the breed of the dog and make sure you have a copy of the pet's rabies certificate. Having the rabies vaccines information on file is standard protocol for any groomer. Yes, I would recommend PetSmart for dog and cat owners. I haven't had enough experience to comment on the fish, birds, reptiles or other small animals they sell. read more

After adopting two dogs in the past 5 months I practically live here. The staff is always so amazing. Glenda has always gone above and beyond for my dogs and I. This review is not for the overall store, this is a review for one of the trainers at their dog training class. I have no problems with the store as a whole but we had a very bad experience with one of their trainers named Wendy. The class started out okay but then the trainer asked what type of food we feed our dog and we told her that we feed him vegetarian food due to his meat allergies. She responded to us by telling us in a hostile manner that if we want to stop wasting our money she could tell us what to give him instead of spending money at our vet. We didn't respond to this. Next, she had everyone go around and introduce themselves and their dog. She stopped when it was our turn, didn't let us introduce ourselves and our dog and started going into what type of treats to use. She said, "Dogs are carnivores." And kind of gave us a "look." She went around with a meat treat and when she got to us, she said in a rude tone, "Oh he can't have this." We were sick of being treated disrespectfully, so we decided to leave. I spoke to the manager, who kindly refunded us our money. I would strongly discourage anyone from taking any classes with this woman. read more

The store itself is great lots of choices and competitive pricing. The groomer: Took our pup in for grooming which we had a free coupon for, and they did a pretty good job. The second time we took him in was for a flea bath $79. We followed instructions given by the groomer only to have fleas twice as bad, probably should have know since when we got him home he still had fleas crawling on him. We had no fleas once we were able to bathe him our self with reg. flea shampoo. On to the training section of this store: First class with pup was good and he learned enough to entice us to sign up again. The trainer was ok the first round but the second time we signed up true colors started to show. She was belittling to people in front of the class and talked behind backs.Trainer was very contradicting which made it confusing for the pup and to us, so training was useless,for the $119. We figured we would get through the six week class and be done. The last class was canceled with no phone call and we were told by store manager we would get a call in 4 weeks when trainer returned, that was over 6 months ago and no phone call and trainer has been back for some time. I have moved my businesses down the street to the "other" pet supplier which has been very consistent. read more
