After a few weeks of searching, we…read morefound a listing for Four Dog Adventures and I shot off an email to find out if they serviced our neighbourhood. My husband and I don't even have the words to fully describe how amazing Sundara and her crew are. Sundara came over with Nat, our local walker and they met our beast, Gabby and Gabby's feline brother, Taz. It was a match made in heaven. Due to our schedules, Nat comes over a number of times per month and takes Gabby for walks or hikes. I think that one of my favourite things about the service is the "The Notebook". Gabby has a little notebook that we exchange notes with Nat on. We let her know if anything's going on with Gabby, and she in turn lets us know how the walk/hike went. She's so personable and her narrations always make us smile. We've also had the pleasure of having Jimmy come over when we needed a walk during Nat's off-time. Sundara's crew are simply fantastic, and she herself runs a brilliant business that we hope to be able to be part of for many years go come. HIGHLY recommended!! Yay for Four Dog Adventures!! From the start, I was made comfortable by Natalie and Kim. Kim walked them for a couple weeks before Melanie took over, and she has walked them since then, though Kim will take them when needed. They have been great - responding last minute if needed. Melanie has even stayed overnight, and always makes sure they get their meds. Macy, one of my senior dogs, dislocated her hip. Melanie has been so great lifting her in and out for her potty breaks! Can't say enough how happy and relieved I am knowing that they get out twice a day when I am at work!!

In that first meeting we discussed several behaviors and strategies to address them. I started working with my dog today and will meet with Tony again in 2 weeks to further hone my skills. So my husband started Googling and found Knucklehead K9. He called & left a msg and Tony called us back within minutes! He gave us all the details of his programs and pricing, and we setup an appt. From the first session Tony set the tone and showed Yolo who was in charge. We were astonished at how quickly he got our dog to listen with just patience, clear direction & treats! My husband and I needed the most training lol! Tony really understands dogs and how they think. He rewards with treats and praise for good behavior and corrects with firm direction for negative behavior. He really taught us how to be our dog's leader. We really liked his training techniques and learned SO much! He is very straight forward and does not sugar coat. It is truly about the owners being consistent and firm. If you're ready for a real dog trainer then Tony is your guy! But YOU better be ready to do the work! We are so much happier with our dog. He's a year old now and we can honestly say he's a GOOD DOG! Sure he's still a pup and has some maturing to do but he has done a 180 since we did the training. We love Tony!
