My last visit was not a good experience and that was it for me. It seems like the price goes up every time I would go there. You would think with customer service they would at least tell you or mention hey our prices went up at time of making the appointment or at drop off but no one mentioned anything. My groomer always did a good job. I always tipped well also even tho the prices just kept going up. But the personalities are definitely not good. You don't get greeted when you walk in. You just get a comment like same thing this time. No hello how are you. And Cody the guy at the desk is extremely rude. Made a rude comment and then runs away. Heard from other people that go there how rude he is. Happens a lot. Makes you wonder how they treat your pet. Plenty of groomers out there to choose from. Sad I had to find another after all these years. But the constant rudeness is not acceptable.

We had been to Klo's previously and have always had the dogs boarded in separate adjacent kennels. We figured this time would be no different than any of the other stays. Our two dogs (both between 40 - 50 lbs) were dropped off on Friday. When someone went to pick up the dogs on Sunday, they returned with one of our dogs bloodied and bitten. He was told that the dogs had gotten into a fight that morning during feeding time. Our belief is that they were feeding the dogs at the same time out of the same bowl. They eat side by side at home, out of two different bowls. This shouldn't have been an issue if they were boarded separately as requested. When we called to ask for details, he said that it was during feeding time and that WE were lucky that someone was right there to break it up. We asked why no effort was made to call us, where they said they had called once, but nobody answered, so they didn't leave a message. I checked missed calls and did a caller ID on the number and they had in fact called -- and had NOT left a message. They didn't feel that it was important to leave a message. They offered no apology to what had happened, had not informed us that they would be boarding them together (different than every other time they had been there), nor seemed at all concerned about what had happened. We had a friend who was a vet tech, come by that Sunday afternoon to do some cleanup on the cuts and bites and advised that we get them in first thing Monday morning. An after-hours emergency vet was out of the question financially having just paid for a wedding. Monday morning we went to the vet for a $300+ vet bill to stitch up the pup. Our dogs would have been better off caring for themselves than staying at Klo's. Will never return nor ever recommend anyone board there.

They somehow messed the paperwork up and linked the two charts together and when I tried to get it straightened out, they told me they could not do anything until they get "permission" from the ex-wife, as she is the primary person on the chart. The ex wife has never even met my puppy, nor myself. The office had no problem doing office visits and accepting payments without a phone call to the ex-wife over the past however long from my boyfriend or myself when we bring the older dog in but now we can't make an appointment for our puppy without having to talk to the ex-wife first. When I told them OK then I will cancel my appointment and take her somewhere else, they had no issue with losing a customer. In fact they were pretty rude when hanging up. You definitely won't catch me bringing either dog back into this office.

The first time we met, she sat on the floor, and my pets (a cat and a dog) flocked to her like Snow White...they just love her. She is easy to work with, loves animals, and is wonderful with them. She does both pet sitting as well as dog walking - and she's as great with my old cat as my puppy. The thing that impressed me most was her approach to my puppy, Maggie, who has cancer. Sometimes she has a bad odor by her cancer area, or has bad days, but Courtney is wonderful with her...and so positive. They have fun, go for walks, etc. It's really great to see. Anyway, if you need a pet sitter or dog walking in Lancaster or Lititz, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ducey Dog Walking. She's tech savvy (will text or email as well: duceysdogs@gmail.com) so communication is awesome. Overall, Courtney is great....and for what it's worth, my pets *still* flock to her when they see her. She clearly adores them, and they adore her right back.

I come home and my dogs are stress-free and happy -- they don't even punish me for being gone! Additionally, Courtney is very professional. She is fantastic with communication -- clear, concise, professional, and completely on top of things. My one dog had a veterinary emergency when Courtney was dogsitting, and she let me know about it right away and had the dog at the vet that same day. My other dog has chronic health issues that require daily management, and Courtney handles this with ease. She contacts me with updates while I am away, so I can be assured that the dogs are doing well. I really recommend her to anyone who loves their pets and wants to know they are well cared for while you are away.
