The owners of…read moreGlamorous K-9s allowed me to tour the facility with my baby girl and ask questions to put to rest any fears. The facility is clean and orderly. Dogs are not kept in conventional kennel cages, but in small rooms with half doors for airiness, light and human connection. Each dog, I am told, has time in their multiple play yards three times a day. Additionally, I understand that each dog has free time in the office with staff for more human interaction. Though they suggest bringing your dog's own food and treats, the kennel does provide them if the guest should run out. One rule I appreciate is the separation of each of their guests. Dogs do not come in contact with other dogs unless through the fence in the play yards. The rule of separation extends to the front office area, as well. I appreciate the owners' precautions for guest vaccinations. Anyone wishing to board a family member with them is required to show proof of vaccinations. Their pricing is in line with other kennels in the area with no additional marketing frills to raise one's bill. The staff obviously love all dogs and their love shows. I would recommend Glamorous K-9s Kennel to anyone who loves their canine friend and would not leave his/her care to just anyone!

I noticed after her few last appointments she was very distant and Very Sad, and her grooming was less than par. Her last appointment she was very distant, and in pain. Her grooming was so uneven, I was so upset, but more concerned about her behavior. That same day, l was notified by the Daughter, ( owner had been ill, not working) they would no longer be grooming GracieAnn. (I had been actively looking for a new Mobile Unit) I told the Daughter she did me a favor. GracieAnn had been w the owner, Angie for 3 yrs. Loved Angie....a week later from the last appt, I took GracieAnn to the Vet. Her back leg at the hip joint was dislocated, and still pops out of place from time to time. She gets very protective when touching her back leg and hip area. I now understand how animals become aggressive after being mistreated. Be aware of your loved Ones emotions, after being in the care others. If I could take back her last appointment w the Daughter and Husband of the business, l would in a heart beat. I will add, GracieAnn was groomed every 4-5 wks, so she was not going to her appts matted and filthy. Her coat his mainly White, l keep her very clean. If I could give a negative number for review, it would be -50. It's unfortunate, Angie's business will not survive at the hands of others. ***I've waited a few months before giving this review.
