Alpha came out to put in a common wire install for our two Nest thermostats yesterday morning ahead of the blistering heat. Scheduling the appointment was simple. They made sure that we grade taken all the steps necessary to make sure that we would be reimbursed, which I appreciated. They arrived well with their all time, and gave me a 45 minute heads up to let me know when they would arrive, again, now than expected. David, the tech, was both friendly and professional, and knocked out the job in less time than quoted. He was happy to explain the issue and answered my questions. He cleaned up after himself thoroughly and left no trace of his visit. I would highly recommend Alpha Mechanical and all use them again. read more

Excellent prompt service at very reasonable pricing. I called Andrey and he came out in just 30 minutes to inspect the heater that quit working. He replaced the inducer fan motor the very same day at about half the cost that Jaguar quoted. Based on my experience I'd highly recommend them if you need HVAC work. read more

Not only did Andre quickly repair my furnace for the cost of the service call, the call back and service response was very quick. Good job.

I discovered my air conditioner was not working around 11:30 am, I called Andrey with (Alpha Mechanical) and he arrived at my house by 1:30pm on the same day. I explained the issue to him over the phone and he was able to diagnose the problem and knew exactly what needed to be replaced. Within minutes of his arrival the problem was fix. He replaced condenser motor and compressor starter. The air-conditioner unit started right up.  Andrey also washed outside coils without charge. I am very pleased with the service and would absolutely recommend Alpha Mechanical to my family and friends. read more

Yesterday afternoon the circuit breaker for my air conditioner started popping. The circuit wouldn't stay closed and we had a miserable, hot night without much sleep. Today the high is 106°, tomorrow, 105°, etc, you get the picture; it's hot. Also, I have a 6-month old and 2 1/2 year old living with me and they need to be cool. My air conditioner is probably at least 14 years old. I have been told time and again by Clarke&Rush (the original seller) that it is on its last legs, although they've always been able to repair it. This time I decided to try someone else. After reading several Yelp reviews for Clarke&Rush, Home Depot, and a couple of other companies, I came across Alpha Mechanical. There was not a single negative review! I called and Andre, the owner, answered, asked me where I lived and said he could be here in about half an hour. About 20 minutes later he arrived and started diagnosing the problem, which turned out to be a bad starter motor (whatever that is). He also explained more to me about my system and its condition than Clarke&Rush ever did. Andre also quoted me a price range for a new system that is over $4000 less than Home Depot or Costco is asking for a comparable system. That was AWESOME news, because I know a new HVAC is definitely in my future. When I need another repair or a new system, I'm calling Andre at Alpha Mechanical. He is honest, fast, knows exactly what he's doing, and his pricing is fair. Call him and you won't be disappointed. Thanks for the great service, Andre! read more

This is a very good outfit. They are available, prompt, do excellent work and do not try to upsell you on services you don't need. I hope we don't need them again, but if we do, they would be our first and only choice. read more

Just about what everybody else is saying -- quick, efficient service. Same-day response with no hard sell. A meter in my A/C needed replacing and new Freon added; it was about a 2-hour job. If (more likely "when") I have additional need for A/C & heating service, Alpha Mechanical will be the ones I call. read more

The air conditioning went out and we called several companies. Alpha Mechanical was the first to return our call and the first to come out to inspect the unit. They told us we needed a new outside unit. I had 2 additional companies inspect the next day. All 3 companies gave me the same diagnosis, but each with a different estimate. Alpha was the least expensive, and their reviews and BBB rating were excellent. Based on that, I hired them. They were able to do the repair the very next morning after I gave them the go ahead. The service was prompt, efficient, courteous, and very reasonable. I am very satisfied! read more

Alpha Mechanical was awesome. They came out and inspected my A/C system before purchasing my house and did a thorough inspection and gave a clean bill of health to my system because it seemed to be working on the surface. Unfortunately after I moved in I realized that the system wasn't working quite right. Cold air was coming out of the registers at the proper temperature but at a very low rate that couldn't cool the house on even a 92 degree day. I called Alpha Mechanical back and Andrey came out on the morning of the 4th of July!!!! He had to dig into the issue and found a small section that was frozen which indicated low coolant or a blockage somewhere. He took apart the furnace to find that the previous owners must not have used a filter in the system for years because the coils were caked with animal hair and dirt. He went to Home Depot and bought a brush and promptly cleaned a small cat sized pile of debris off of the coils and also fixed a leaking connection. The system works fantastically now! I am so pleased that he took the time to really dig into the issue - especially on a holiday morning! read more

I contacted Alpha Mechanical for my AC unit that wasn't working. These guys are awesome! I was told by another repair company that the unit was dead and it would be 10-15k to replace. I called these guys for a second opinion and $650 later, my unit has never run so well!! Alpha mechanical went above and beyond by coming by after hours during our last heat wave to check the unit and once parts arrived they came out on a holiday to complete the job. You can't go wrong with alpha mechanical! read more

Last Thursday Andrey came out and saved me. It had been 106-108 degrees all week and on Wednesday evening my AC stopped working. I had the worst night sleep of my life and I felt terrible for my pets. Thursday morning I got on Yelp and started calling all over town for anyone that could possibly come out and fix my unit. I could not survive another night in the heat. Lucky for me Andrey picked up when I called and said that he could fit me in in the afternoon. He was able to give me enough notice so that I could get home from work and meet him. He was on time and professional. He quickly diagnosed my issue as I need to replace the blower in the attic. He had the part at the warehouse and was able to get it and come back to do the repair in the same day. He was professional, quick, courteous and I was grateful that he was able to get my unit running again in the same day. I would recommend them to anyone that is in need for any AC repair. read more

Since they did an amazing job on the AC this summer, I called them again when our heater went out. They once again provided excellent service. Unfortunately, our HVAC system need to be replaced. It was 22 years old. Andrey provided us a very competitive bid with a quality unit. Much less expensive than what I was hearing from friends with similar issues. They were able to obtain the system and install it in very short order. I recommend Andrey and his team. They are professional, competitive and provide excellent service. Thanks again Alpha Mechanical. read more

We had Alpha Mechanical come out on Saturday to fix our broken heater. They offered to come out same day that we called but unfortunately we weren't available. They were on time and were able to identify the problem quickly. They picked up the part they needed and were able to fix everything same day, which was great. We would definitely use Alpha Mechanical again. read more

When we had issues with our Nests not shutting off, we called Nest and they referred up to Alpha Mechanical as a Certified Nest Professional. Our system was more complicated since we have 7 zones in our house. Andrey came and worked on 3 of the zones. He spent longer than he anticipated, but he got here on time and didn't stop till the job was done right. He's also really easy to talk to and explained things clearly, and not condescending like other contractors I've had to deal with. I'd call him again with any additional HVAC issues. He's gained my business! read more

Andre was amazing! Was at our house in 10 minutes from our call. Very professional and quick! I would use them again in a heartbeat! Thanks Andre for getting our NEST working! Now we have heat read more

Our AC died during 100+ weather and Alpha Mechanical was the only company that could provide same-day service. Three days later it broke again (for a totally separate reason) and the owner came out within a few hours to make sure we were up and running. These guys have great communication and professionalism. I received prompt replies to all my questions, via the Yelp app. Highly recommended! read more

Friendly, showed up on time and diagnosed the problem quickly. Maybe a little bit on the expensive side but it's the middle of summer so I guess it's to be expected. I would call Alpha again. read more

Over 100 degrees on a Sunday afternoon, A/C had suddenly stopped working and I checked Yelp to find Alpha Mechanical, read a half dozen wonderful reviews and decided not to look any further. Called the number, it went to voice mail saying they were closed on Sunday but to please leave a message with call back info. I did and within 5 minutes received a text saying they could come to check out our A/C on Monday. Andre came first thing Monday, found a broken thermostat and replaced it promptly, all within 30 minutes or so. $200 total for the service call and part. Color me happy! read more

There's a reason Alpha Mechanical has so many 5 star reviews! Andrey came out last year and gave us a quote to replace our HVAC. Our existing Amana unit never cooled the 2nd story sufficiently but it was still functioning ok so we weren't quite ready to invest in a replacement. Andrey followed up early this year but our unit was still hanging in there. Once the extreme heat hit this summer, the unit started making very loud noises and kept tripping the breaker. So we knew then that it wasn't going to make it through the summer. We called Andrey back at their busiest time, along with everyone else that was having AC issues. Andrey was able to fit us in and he made sure that we had AC again within 2 days and installed a Trane unit. The unit is bigger than the Amana and probably more efficient. Now our upstairs stays the same temperature as the rest of the house. We asked Andrey many questions as well as checked on the status. He responded immediately every time so we always knew what to expect. Thankfully we found an HVAC company that is responsive and does a great job!!! read more

We recently moved into a new home. The previous owner had cats and the entire home smelled like cat urine. After replacing all carpet, painting the entire house and having all tile sanitized there was still a lingering smell. Had a company out to clean our ducts. They discovered that there was cat urine in the ducting. We have floor vents. Company could not clean ducts due to urine and suggested replacing all ducts. Andrey was quick to respond and showed up same day to give us an estimate. I got 3 other estimates and I called Andrey to answer my questions. Andrey and his team were professional, punctual and exceptionally knowledgeable. Job was done in 3 days at a fair price. We have a 2700 sq foot home with a raised foundation. This was not an easy job. Every aspect of the job was done up to code and completed correctly. Not to mention the absolutely disgusting ducting they removed and disposed of for us. I highly recommend Alpha Mechanical. read more
