I had a recent water damage in my 3 bedroom condo that required us to move out of our home and stayed at another apartment. After restoration company did all their work, Alpha Builders came to start on renovations within the week despite waiting for insurance company's approval. Alon was very nice and patient. He helped follow up with the insurance company. He is very detailed and explains everything. He took care of other small request i had in the house that needed fixing before we moved back in. I will definitely recommend them. read more

The ceiling and walls in our kitchen and dining room are right below the master bedroom bathroom. No big deal normally until you factor in water damage from a pinhole leak from an upstairs pipe. Obviously with a leak like that you're dealing with water damage and mold prevention. We got that sorted out So far so good. However, finding a contractor that was willing to fix it that was another story. We had someone that came through looked around, said he be in touch and will give us a cost estimate, but this guy never followed through. After about 6 weeks of this we got feed up and contacted the team that fixed the plumbing and mold control to see if they had any recommendations. Next thing we know Alon from Alpha was at our door. Not only did he say he could do the work, but he would also assist in wrangling with our homeowner's insurance (someone to do that is priceless). We said let's move forward on this, and after we agreed to his up-front deposit and contract, it was all downhill. No little than four hours later did we receive an line item estimate e-mailed to us. The following week Alon, follow up with us and kept us in the loop with what was going on with the insurance, until we got the work approved. Once that occurred Alon set a date to start. His crew was on time and very efficient. They had all the damage patched up puttied and primed for painting. They gave it a day to dry, they were back promptly a day after to wrap up with the painting, we can even tell that anything happened where the water damage was. The crew was efficient prepared courteous and friendly. I cannot recommend Alpha enough they really put the bar up high for any other contractors I might have to face in the future. If you want an effective, professional, and prompt and outstanding service. Don't waste your time with anyone else. Chose ALPHA Builders and Remodeling Inc. read more

Alpha builders performed the repair of my elderly father's house after extensive flood damage. The repair consisted of kitchen living room and two bathrooms. Alon managed the project from start to finish. He clearly laid out the scope of the project and did all the negotiations with the insurance company. He returned the house to better than new condition. Due to my father's age, my father refused to leave during the construction and speed of the project was very important to limit the disruption and discomfort of the project. Alon was very sensitive to this and worked around my dad and completed the project in record time, less then half the time we were expecting. I strongly recommend Alon and Alpha Builders for any project. read more

Alpha builders worked on a water damage at our house. Alon (the owner of the company) went above and beyond to make sure that the quality of his teams work was great. His team even finished the work a couple of weeks before the estimated deadline. Yes, over 2 weeks EARLIER! The communication was great. Every phone call / text was answered very promptly. Every concern / question addressed immediately. The work was pretty extensive and included new floors, drywall, electrical work, plumbing, custom cabinets, paint etc. Alpha impressed us so much we hired them to additionally fully drywall our garage and upgrade our electrical panel and 2 sub panels. Alon, and his company, were a very pleasant surprise. No attempt to add costs that weren't absolutely necessary and always a very professional and polite attitude. Unfortunately my experience with Alon and his team was not great! I am not saying don't hire them but beware. He apparently does not guarantee his work. Integrity doesn't appear to be in their vocabulary but dishonesty and greed seem to be. He came to my home initially for a bathroom remodel because our toilet backed up. I assumed he was sent by my insurance company. Alon and I discussed other projects I wanted done which included a HVAC, new attic insulation with rodent proofing and dishwasher/garbage disposal installation. I decided to hire Alpha Builders because I could finance through a company they were affiliated with. Once Alon knew how much I was approved for he immediately drew up a contract for that exact amount and withdrew all the funds before any work was performed. I noticed the contract didn't state "rodent proofing" the attic. Alon assured me it was included. He said they would patch up all the holes. There were several issues that I had to beg to get resolved. Unfortunately, it took 8 months to notice there was a hole outside, which was made by Alon's team while installing the HVAC system, leading to the attic. This should have been patched when the insulation was installed. I took a picture and contacted Alon. He of course denied "rodent proofing " being part of our agreement. He told me I should have read the scope of work better. $5000 for rodent proofing and new insulation down the drain because the mice found the hole they left. He reluctantly fixed it and said he was doing me a favor. Thank God they were too greedy to do my bathroom. Alon said he wouldn't make enough money. Saved me a headache and probably would have been the worst mistake of my life! read more

Highly recommend! We had a pipe issue in our kitchen and had to have cabinetry replaced as well as the carpet in the living room. We made a homeowner's insurance claim and Alon sat with me on a conference call with the insurance people in order to help explain what happened and what repairs were needed. That was above and beyond the call of duty! He also respected the choices we wanted to make in regard to the repairs and didn't push for more than we needed. He always responded quickly, calmly, and reassuringly to my inquiries. This is the first (and hopefully last) time anything quite like this has happened in our house. He and his team were friendly and respectful. They wore masks while completing the work which was especially appreciate due to medical circumstances in our household. They also completed the job while disrupting our routines as little as possible. I appreciate Alon and his team so much! I'm not sure my sanity would have survived this without them. read more

ALPHA Builders & Remodeling, Inc. is, by far, the best contractor we have engaged for services in the 20 years in our current home. We had an unfortunate water heater leak in our garage and caused water damage to our garage, downstairs bedroom and closet. Alon Marom is the owner and lead contractor for this project. He was referred to us by Pac Fleet. He accepted the job, and we knew from the start that he was a "can-do" kind of person. He has helped us with the insurance company, valued the job fairly, got the approvals from our home insurance, and hired the right crew to do the job properly. He was thoroughly professional from the start and at each subsequent point. He always gave us 100% of his attention when he is talking to us about the project. He is a man of values and responsibility. I have no qualms in recommending him 110% for your project. Thank you for everything Alon and crew! Ed and Elena Griffin read more

Construction is in Alon's bones. He learned building and electrical work at an early age from his dad. After a rigorous apprenticeship in the family business, Alon got a degree in electrical engineering and used his skills in the Navy. That's the type of person you want to hire because when a water disaster strikes (as it did with us), you need someone who knows what they're doing and can take quick decisive action. Others told us that the damage to our house would take two to three months to fix and it would be impossible to get a contractor during the holidays. I've also heard horror stories about contractors who are unresponsive and drag out contractor work for months. That's not Alon. He's military trained. He gets the job done. He and his fleet of workers repaired our place right up until Christmas and New Year's. After three weeks they're practically done which will allow us to get our lives back to normal. If you've had a disaster in your home, Alon's a great guy to call. read more
