The staff was extremely professional, kind, patient, and helpful. I was unable to renew my safety check, and unfortunately, I had also forgotten to renew my vehicle registration. With everything going on and having to deal with two funerals, it completely slipped my mind. The staff at Dansens went above and beyond to help me through the paperwork and explain everything I needed to do. They had me in and out quickly and on my way to the DMV to get my registration renewed. Once I completed everything at the DMV, I returned to Dansens to finish my paperwork. I had an 8:00 a.m. appointment and another appointment at 8:30 a.m. for my other vehicle, and Dansens worked with me every step of the way. They took great care to make sure I understood what was needed and provided a complete explanation regarding my registration and safety check. I also want to give a shout-out to the ladies at the Waianae DMV. They were also very helpful and provided great service. Thank you, Dansens Auto Repair, for making what could have been a stressful situation so much easier! Your professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help really made a difference. I will definitely be a return customer. I also appreciate that you take appointments, which makes everything so much more convenient. Great service, Dansens! Keep up the excellent work!

I returned at EXACTLY 1pm and saw there was a car in the garage so the guy tells me that as soon as this car is done I could pull in. I waited maybe 10mins. The car pulls out and the guy waves me to come in. He guides me all the way into the garage and takes my registration and insurance cards. He begins walking around my vehicle looking at my car and checking whatever around the car. At this point it's 1:15pm. He walks into the office with my paperwork and Immediately comes back out and tells me, "Sorry..we're going on lunch". I was like, what? You told me to come back at 1. I was here before 1. And mind you, I took off on my lunch break to be there at 1pm because this is when I was told I could come. I'm not sure why they decided to take a lunch break when I was there when they told me to come. I'll never come back to this place for anything.

He arrived at my house within 30 minutes and immediately got to work on my car. There was an issue with the part, the girl at the store sold me the wrong part . Josh offered to drive all the way back down and exchange it. He came back with my change and agreed not to add to the original quote he gave me. If I could I would give them a 0. 2 and a half years ago, I took my car to Pearl City Auto Works for a brake job. It cost me almost $5k to do it. Now they told me I gotta spend another $2400 to fix the same problem. My other half and I talked business with the owner's daughter Shay Nakamura about the situation and asked certain questions and she couldn't give any feedback to the situation at hand. She tried to give me a discount, but I don't think it was enough, considering I know for a fact they are charging me 3-4x the actual cost for the parts and then will eventually get more money back because of the cores. I text the number they text me with explaining my situation and there were no response. 2 phone numbers they text me from I left a text message, no response. That right there shows me that that they have poor communication skills. Communication was done with text. To be honest, I prefer real conversation with a person/company. I believe that they either did a poor job 2 and a half years ago or the quality of parts they used suck!! I got ripped off the first time and they tried to do that again the second time around. NEVER again will I do business with them!!
