His approach also felt disengaged--he provided a pirated version of a book with exercises that I could do on my own while he sat taking notes on his computer, offering little guidance or value during our sessions. He only seemed to respond promptly when something was a concern for him, not for me. Therapy requires mutual trust and commitment, and this experience left me feeling unsupported. The first 3 sessions, i went 3-5 days without nicotine before letting myself give in. After the fourth session, he told me thats it, it's up to me if this is what I want. I have now gone 34 days without any form of nicotine. Before, i couldn't even go 1 day. Be ready to face your demons as you will be a gigantic a-hole for the first week. But once you realize that the chemicals you have been consuming have been doing way more harm than you could ever imagine, you will want to continue your journey. The minute I met him, I felt confidence that he could help me. He has a very caring and calm manner, and shows deep interest in your problems. He spent over an hour with me, carefully going over everything that could be treated to help the problem. He prescribed a special probiotic, garlic ear drops (yes, really, and they worked), and oil of oregano (put 3 drops into an empty capsule and take with water). Everything made me feel better almost right away. The best treatment for the sore and swollen sinuses was a tiny puncture with Traumeel, to stop the inflammation. I was amazed that it worked immediately and my sinuses felt better than they have ever felt when I'm having symptoms.
