After reading other passenger reviews, I wish there was an option to "AGREE" and respond with like comments. They have left me stranded, both travelling to and from medical appointments. Once for 2 hours in the evening, just a couple of weeks ago. It's maddening. You are fortunate to have a driver that speaks English. The driver yesterday who perhaps was the initial driver who stranded me, and then returned to collect me decided to travel up an Avenue in Manhattan that is well known to be slow and a lot of traffic---plus she travelled uptown on the WEST side, when I needed to go to the EAST side. Either she was doing this intentionally, or did not know how to navigate the streets and traffic in Manhattan. Initially, she blamed something or other on traffic. I'm thinking, oh, is that why the initial driver simply deserted me at 8:00 am? I am still angry about this and am, as I type, searching for a RELIABLE medical service. LOL, I could NOT believe it when Agate appeared on the list. Advice to others: Please do your research. Look at reviews of others, not only those on the company's web-site. As an ex dirt bike racer I assure you I know a thing or two about injuries and pain. All the drivers and employees show the customers great care. I went above and beyond to encourage my patients on the way home. Those of the Faith I even prayed with, over, and for. Everyone from Mgmt, to dispatch, to the techs who service the vehicles and kept them up n running gives it their all. Buses are constantly in bad shape--AC doesn't work, lifts break, and they're always dirty. Passengers complain, but nothing changes. PTO is a mess too--every time I didn't feel well, it turned into a big issue, even though I always worked overtime when asked. After I quit, they didn't even direct deposit my last paycheck--they mailed it without warning. That tells you everything about how this company treats its workers. If I had known I would have just built in time to go to the bank for cash. When you call they will just take your destination and quickly hang up as soon as they mention how long you'll have to wait. If you didn't hear it, or you have a question you will have to call back. Srsly. No follow up questions allowed w/o a 2nd call. So listen closely.
