I was a driver for Senior Ride Transportation for almost 3 years and I loved doing my job... Helping people is at the core of what they do. As an ex dirt bike racer I assure you I know a thing or two about injuries and pain. All the drivers and employees show the customers great care. I went above and beyond to encourage my patients on the way home. Those of the Faith I even prayed with, over, and for. Everyone from Mgmt, to dispatch, to the techs who service the vehicles and kept them up n running gives it their all. From a former insider it's clear why Senior Ride is the BIG DAWG in the medical ambulette transportation field in NY. read more

Senior Ride Transportation - My favorite bus, number 190. All the vehicles are the same but each has a personality. I vied with 190 - Transportation Near Me - The Bronx, New York

I worked here as a CDL driver with over 10 years of experience, and this was one of the worst jobs I've had. The manager, Jesus, is unprofessional--gets sarcastic instead of solving problems, calls drivers "bro," "dude" and expects us to take broken buses to the mechanic ourselves. Buses are constantly in bad shape--AC doesn't work, lifts break, and they're always dirty. Passengers complain, but nothing changes. PTO is a mess too--every time I didn't feel well, it turned into a big issue, even though I always worked overtime when asked. After I quit, they didn't even direct deposit my last paycheck--they mailed it without warning. That tells you everything about how this company treats its workers. If you're thinking of working here, don't. Read the reviews. It's not a serious or respectful place. read more

My mom used them after her surgery from hospital to home for 3 Streets distance. They arrived an hour late when snow and rain started. When we were ready to move the helper decided to go to bathroom. He left and we stayed in the van waiting. The doctor did not allow my mom to be seated for more than 10 minutes. After 15 minutes my mom started to cry from severe pain. I asked from the driver to call his partner. He did but he was not answering. My mom's pain was really bad and she was suffering. I asked we leave and he can come back for his partner since we were 3 blocks away. The driver refused. Then I asked to call his company and he did. The company said they will call him. After 30 minutes waiting he showed up. And he was complaining because we called his company and he was rude and selfish. he had loud voice and no sympathy. Please stay away from this company. read more

I am hoping this reaches the higher ups. I will not put his last name up here but Dishaun was incredibly polite and professional. We had a difficult time with a patient and Dishaun waited for us to assist the patient and finish and make sure that he was comfortable prior to leaving the hospital. Without Dishauns help I'm not sure what we would have done. He is worth his weight in Gold. Thank you. read more

The worst possible way to come home from a hospital. My driver was an older guy who came into my room reeking of cheap cigars. The wheelchair he brought was decrepit and my leg was in a heavy cast. The leg extension could barely hold the weight and my leg nearly fell to the ground twice. The van looked like a medieval torture chamber. It was dirty and also reeked of cigar. My driver didn't know how to get from the east side of Manhattan to the west, so needed directions. When we arrived, there was another driver there, and it was obvious no one had given these clowns all the instructions the hospital promised would be taken care of. If it hadn't been for the neighbor I'd texted on the way home, I'd still be sitting on the sidewalk in front of my building. This company is an unprofessional rip-off and I'm shocked this major UES side hospital uses their services. I never will again. read more
