Went to check this place out cause my regular place I go to never have what I wanted. Store is small, do like that they have parking, also do like how they package the raw food in 1/2 oz rolls. Cost slightly more than where I usually go, but I do appreciate that they source locally! read more

Have been getting raw beef for my dogs from here for years. East parking but hours aren't as convenient any more (they open later), but they need to do what they need to, to stay in business. Follow them on IG and FB for updates on their hours. They provide quality products. Frozen raw beef, chicken, venison, duck, rabbit. (Not sure if the more exotic meats are always available). I like their grass fed beef stumps in 32oz bags. Grass fed USA closest I can get to organic, which I believe helps my dogs NOT have many or any skin allergies. (Would do chicken but it's not organic grain fed and I also try not to feed my dog non-organic grain, but that's just me.) The stumps come as 1 oz pieces and I can attest to the consistency in weight. They had changed from their own production to another vendor for awhile to try and save on costs but stopped when they couldn't depend on the vendor. I've even weighed the product and they are spot on. Great integrity. Their dried beef hearts, liver, etc. are great snacks for my dog. They are very nice, it's a family run business, and while it's pricey (because it's raw foods) I don't need to spend money on allergy meds/injections for my dog. I do mix it with dehydrated food and organic non-grain kibble to keep costs down somewhat. All worth it! I highly recommend the food at this place for your dog! Quality products, good service, good location with parking. Will add photos next time. read more

The lady here was super helpful and sweet! I came in looking for meal toppers for our cat (a friend recommended I come here to buy chicken hearts). The woman who works there is very knowledgeable and gave me the run down of all their products and how much food my cat would likely need. This is my first pet so I have very little experience in animal nutrition. All of the food looks very fresh and high quality. Our cat is still a kitten so I'll probably be back for their sliced 1oz raw venison when she's an adult! For now I just grabbed the beef liver (cut into very satisfying little cubes) and the chicken hearts. Highly recommend! I was wary because of some of the other reviews but honestly my experience was incredibly pleasant. read more

Aloha Raw Pet Food - Pet Stores Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Aloha raw pet food is located by the old Champions bakery. They sell a variety of dehydrated jerkey treats as well as frozen raw dog good. A variety of frozen dog food such as chicken, chicken/beef and venison is what they have. They also sell organs ~ chicken heart, beef liver, chicken gizzards, and fish. Prices here are reasonable. The store is closed on Fridays and various holidays. My dog has been on a raw diet for 8 years and is a two time cancer survivor. read more

I've been coming here for years to feed our two pups. They follow the B.A.R.F. Nutrition guidelines that our previous supplier also followed until they suddenly closed for good. She's always so nice and my dogs love it. They carry a variety of freeze dried and dehydrated foods, ears, antlers and organic options. Currently there are closed on Friday & Saturdays. read more

Pulled into parking lot to buy food, a guy (owner) was on top of building and immediately started yelling at us thinking we were going to the moped store next door. Telling us "get the F out of here". As if he was hiding stuff because why we being so angry about people waning to come into your store ??? Uncle was mad the moped shop get more business I guess. We walked up to door and they only allow people with mask on... in big 2025 so we walked back to car. The guy continued to yell at us, now asking if we have a problem. We told him no we are just leaving because we don't have mask on us. Then uncle (owner) threatened to fight my dad who is 65. So incredibly sick of this guy who we were just being nice to and understanding of his mask rule. The building is discussing tho and birds are so loud. With service like that I bet the animals are treating horrible in there. read more

It really saddens me to have to write a poor review. MOST of my reviews are 4 to 5 star ratings. But I feel compelled to inform people of some poor things as well as good things. 1) because the food is "RAW", I had concerns of Salmonella, E-Coli, etc. After all, my dog, like most of you, is regarded as part of the "family". So I emailed them with my concerns, NO RESPONSE!!! 2) I went down and asked questions to my heart's content, and felt "somewhat satisfied". I purchased another bag (2nd time), and spent $40.00. 3) Now I am over 70, and on meds. I needed to use the restroom, and was denied. (AFTER the purchase). I am NOT some "homeless" person, wandering around. Now is this any way to treat your 'customers' ??? And reading some of the "other" ratings, I formulated what kind of ingrates run this very important business. THEREFORE, I NO LONGER WILL SUPPORT THIS TYPE OF ESTABLISHMENT. remember...what goes around, comes around. Karma. read more

First, the quality of the food is top notch. I've done research on raw food and if you give them the right type, it has a lot of health benefits. Kathy really knows about dog nutrition and you'll be amazed at what goes into making their food. On top of that, she's always there with a smile and eager to answer any questions. I won't shop anywhere else for my dogs. read more

Before I started shopping here, feeding my dog was nearly impossible. We tried all types of kibble and snacks just to get her to eat something. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any food that would satisfy my dog's taste. Then I met Kathy from Aloha Raw Pet Food and she suggested mixing some bone marrow with my dog's kibble, since then, my dog has never skipped a meal. My dog absolutely loves the fresh and delicious product that Aloha Raw Pet Food has to offer. I especially like the fact that the bone marrow is locally sourced from Hawaii raised cattle. Not only does my dog love the bone marrow here, but she also loves the dehydrated treats. Specifically, my dog has a craving for the dehydrated chicken and beef hearts. I have been to many pet food stores around the island and I have found that this location has the most affordable prices for dehydrated treats. While the high quality at affordable food is one of the reasons I continue to shop here, the main reason is the owner. Kathy is one of the kindest and most accommodating individuals I have ever met. Whenever I need treats or more bone marrow for my dog, I will call Kathy and she will never hesitate to save some on the side for me to pick up after work. Kathy is very professional and she treats everyone as if they are a valued customer. I will only get my dog food from Aloha Raw Pet Food. read more

If you feed your pet raw, then Aloha Raw Pet Food is a Godsend. All their food is frozen, neatly packaged, and labeled. They also have a selection of dry treats on the wall when you walk in. Our dogs love the beef heart and liver treats. As for packaged raw food, we normally get the green tripe, venison logs, beef logs, and duck feet. I think the prices are comparable to other raw pet food stores, so if you're in town, then this location is perfect. They do have a few parking stalls, so that's a plus, too. If you have any questions, the workers have been very helpful and kind. I appreciate that they don't make you feel rushed and genuinely want to help you pick the right stuff. read more

After my fur child's usual go to raw dog food supplier had suddenly shut down, it was a search to find another raw dog food company that fit his needs. We tried other local suppliers but Aloha Raw Pet Food seemed to be the best route. Most raw dog food suppliers do not add the extra nutrients like the vitamins from vegetables and other food that our fur children need however, Aloha Raw Pet Food includes those in their product which cuts our food prep time for my fur child more than half the time. The employees here are super knowledgeable, friendly, and are willing to help you with any questions you have regarding their products and raw dog food movement. Not to mention they source their meats locally which is a plus for me. As for my fur child, he LOVES the food and always loves to come with me when I'm picking up his food at this location. You can say that my fur child is a very VERY satisfied customer! read more

I recently changed my pup's diet to raw. I was ordering her food from a local company that delivered and though that was ok, I was always looking around for different things. Today I decided to stop by and pick up some tripe treats. I came by and rang the bell and was let in (I had my mask on) and the woman that helped me was wonderful! My dog hates carrots so I asked if she thought maybe my dog would like dehydrated carrots, since I like my pup to have veggies. She said "Let's see!" and gave my pup a sample! My dog chewed away on the carrot and ate it right up, so I went to grab a bag. She even told me which bag I should grab since they were a bit more chewy than the others! Then she gave my pup a dehydrated meat treat just to be nice! I paid for my tripe and carrot treats and before I left I asked if the food they sold was balanced where I wouldn't have to add any vitamins or powders. She said it was and then gave me a sample of a couple of pucks of the chicken! I was so happy and surprised by how nice and wonderful they were! I even told her that they were wonderful! I'll be trying out their raw when I run out because I love their customer service and want to support their business! Even if you do your raw food yourself or get it from another place, you should stop by to grab some treats and see how great they are! Also, if you were wondering, my pup LOVES the tripe treats and the chewiness of the carrot treats! read more

If you have a truly picky eater, this brand is the one to try! My dog is ultra picky to the point he will starve. He also has tons of allergies to even the "limited ingredient" dog foods. I tried 10+ local and mainland raws. This brand was a godsend! The logs are the perfect size, easy to thaw or defrost in micro, and just simple ingredients, no fillers! And the very best part for picky sensory eaters - the texture is smooth, no lumps or bumps, no gritty or grainy! Surprisingly, my dog loves to eat it super cold/partially frozen. read more

I have been feeding my dogs raw for the past 13 years, I've done different brands and even diy raw until a friend told me about Aloha Raw Pet Food. I've been going to them for 3+ yrs and they are awesome, the place is clean, good parking, and the best customer service. One of my dogs is very picky eater, she loves Aloha Raw, from the chicken to the mix chicken and beef to the beef and the venison logs and all the treats too! They got the raw treats too, and you'll love how they pack the tripe and liver treats, no more mess. And you can see the product through the package not hiding behind colored packaging like some other brands. Never had any problems. Locally run, they're the nicest people!! Thank you Aloha Raw Pet Food!! read more

I really really love this place because the lady is always very pleasant and helpful. My dogs love all of their goodies. I like the tripe because it's conveniently pre-sliced into cubes. Not to mention, the frozen treats also come in re-sealable bags that just add to the convenience ! I'm starting to think that this had to have come from a mom's ingenuity !Also one of my dogs is very smart about medicine and spits out even the tiniest crumb after I grind the pill with my mortar & pestle Until I discovered the meat stumps ! The meat stumps are perfect for very smart picky dogs who don't get fooled by pill pouches My dogs are uber duper picky ! They refuse to eat any canned meat like Spam, vienna sausages or sandwich meat. They also do not eat Milkbone or those cheap Made In China treats. They love raw green tripe, raw beef and raw chicken gizzard and hearts. Your dog will love you for this ! read more

If you love your pet and want to feed them the best, I suggest you stop in to this business. Fresh locally sourced raw pet food, made right there! First impression Clean, clean, clean! This place is spotless and no bad odors you'd expect from a raw manufacturing business. The grinds are consistent, I don't find any big bone pieces at all. You can see the bright green organic spinach throughout the foods. I also like that they have logs and stumps. Your pets will thank you and be healthier too! This is the spot if you're looking for raw dog food. It has variety and the owner(?) is really nice. She even gave my dog samples of treats and the green tripe when we visited the first time. She is also very patient and explains the different food and treat options. The website also has a full list of their products, but I wanted to know a little bit more. I feed my dog a combination of the chicken logs and beef pucks. Every time I go, there are a lot of stalls open. The private lot has about four to five stalls, but there's usually only one other visitor. The entrance is on Beretania Street on the right side in a yellow building. The store is small where only one family and pet can be there at a time. I'm not sure if it's always been this way or if they changed it due to COVID. It gives you more of a private experience, one-on-one attention, and you don't have to worry about disagreements between animals. Five stars. read more

Decided to switch our cat to an all raw diet because his skin was breaking out and he couldn't keep down the dry, bagged food. We have seen a major improvement with his hair growth and hardly throws up. He LOVES the variety of meat we've introduced to him and cries for it when it's breakfast or dinner time. Reasonably priced and always good to support local if you can! The owner is so sweet and welcomes us with a warm aloha every time we stop in. We pick her brain about the ingredients and she always gives great recommendations. Check them out, your pet will thank you! read more

Great choice if your looking for raw options on island! Staff is very friendly and helpful in describing the options available for purchase. In addition the prices are quite reasonable and I enjoy the resealable option on some of their packaging. This easily allows you to take out what you will need for the week while you continue to freeze the rest. My dog LOVES their food even after growing a bit picky as he gets older. Already on my second purchase haul from them and I will definitely continue to purchase from here. read more

This shop, has a convenient parking lot, located in town where you usually need to find street parking. Immediately as we walked in we were greeted and helped. Walked past the building with my dogs one day just trying to grab some food from Petco and when I got home later I googled them and read a little more into this business. I then called the next day and they answered ALLL of my questions and were so kind. I ended up walking in after our phone conversation with my dogs and they were so welcoming. They even gave my two chihuahuas a sample of what I was interested in just to see how they'd react. They were sooo excited! After finishing out my dogs older food of raw kibble, I finally have them fully switched over to the ground beef mix stumps and chicken gizzards! I'm sooo happy with the quality and quantity I purchased and after only 2 days of the full switchover, my two dogs are playing more and I know their bodies are loving it. I know it's giving them all the nutrients they need. HIGHLY recommend for dog owners to come and check the place out, they even do phone/pickup orders. Feed your dogs the best just like you would feed yourself and your family, I know it'll make a huge difference in the long run. read more

The owner came out screaming and harassing our car the second we parked. There was nobody else in the parking lot and we were the only ones. The neighboring businesses informed me to write this review because this is a problematic trend with this business and many other people have been harassed similarly. read more
