Bone marrow, dehydrated chicken, and dehydrated beef heart
Spencer J.

Before I started shopping here, feeding my dog was nearly impossible. We tried all types of kibble and snacks just to get her to eat something. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any food that would satisfy my dog's taste. Then I met Kathy from Aloha Raw Pet Food and she suggested mixing some bone marrow with my dog's kibble, since then, my dog has never skipped a meal. My dog absolutely loves the fresh and delicious product that Aloha Raw Pet Food has to offer. I especially like the fact that the bone marrow is locally sourced from Hawaii raised cattle. Not only does my dog love the bone marrow here, but she also loves the dehydrated treats. Specifically, my dog has a craving for the dehydrated chicken and beef hearts. I have been to many pet food stores around the island and I have found that this location has the most affordable prices for dehydrated treats. While the high quality at affordable food is one of the reasons I continue to shop here, the main reason is the owner. Kathy is one of the kindest and most accommodating individuals I have ever met. Whenever I need treats or more bone marrow for my dog, I will call Kathy and she will never hesitate to save some on the side for me to pick up after work. Kathy is very professional and she treats everyone as if they are a valued customer. I will only get my dog food from Aloha Raw Pet Food.

Raw food selection

If you feed your pet raw, then Aloha Raw Pet Food is a Godsend. All their food is frozen, neatly packaged, and labeled. They also have a selection of dry treats on the wall when you walk in. Our dogs love the beef heart and liver treats. As for packaged raw food, we normally get the green tripe, venison logs, beef logs, and duck feet. I think the prices are comparable to other raw pet food stores, so if you're in town, then this location is perfect. They do have a few parking stalls, so that's a plus, too. If you have any questions, the workers have been very helpful and kind. I appreciate that they don't make you feel rushed and genuinely want to help you pick the right stuff.

Ground beef stumps. Easy to figure out how much to feed because each piece is about one ounce. Fur baby loves this. Just the overnight.

Still five star. Still great service. Plenty of parking. Nice people. Quality food, good variety - chicken, beef, venison, duck. Also have dried treats - beef hearts (fur baby loves it) and other things.

After my fur child's usual go to raw dog food supplier had suddenly shut down, it was a search to find another raw dog food company that fit his needs. We tried other local suppliers but Aloha Raw Pet Food seemed to be the best route. Most raw dog food suppliers do not add the extra nutrients like the vitamins from vegetables and other food that our fur children need however, Aloha Raw Pet Food includes those in their product which cuts our food prep time for my fur child more than half the time. The employees here are super knowledgeable, friendly, and are willing to help you with any questions you have regarding their products and raw dog food movement. Not to mention they source their meats locally which is a plus for me. As for my fur child, he LOVES the food and always loves to come with me when I'm picking up his food at this location. You can say that my fur child is a very VERY satisfied customer!

More Dehydrated Carrot treats please!

I recently changed my pup's diet to raw. I was ordering her food from a local company that delivered and though that was ok, I was always looking around for different things. Today I decided to stop by and pick up some tripe treats. I came by and rang the bell and was let in (I had my mask on) and the woman that helped me was wonderful! My dog hates carrots so I asked if she thought maybe my dog would like dehydrated carrots, since I like my pup to have veggies. She said "Let's see!" and gave my pup a sample! My dog chewed away on the carrot and ate it right up, so I went to grab a bag. She even told me which bag I should grab since they were a bit more chewy than the others! Then she gave my pup a dehydrated meat treat just to be nice! I paid for my tripe and carrot treats and before I left I asked if the food they sold was balanced where I wouldn't have to add any vitamins or powders. She said it was and then gave me a sample of a couple of pucks of the chicken! I was so happy and surprised by how nice and wonderful they were! I even told her that they were wonderful! I'll be trying out their raw when I run out because I love their customer service and want to support their business! Even if you do your raw food yourself or get it from another place, you should stop by to grab some treats and see how great they are! Also, if you were wondering, my pup LOVES the tripe treats and the chewiness of the carrot treats!

Love this place! And so do my babies! The food gives the so much energy-and keeps their weight on point!

If you have a truly picky eater, this brand is the one to try! My dog is ultra picky to the point he will starve. He also has tons of allergies to even the "limited ingredient" dog foods. I tried 10+ local and mainland raws. This brand was a godsend! The logs are the perfect size, easy to thaw or defrost in micro, and just simple ingredients, no fillers! And the very best part for picky sensory eaters - the texture is smooth, no lumps or bumps, no gritty or grainy! Surprisingly, my dog loves to eat it super cold/partially frozen.

I really really love this place because the lady is always very pleasant and helpful. My dogs love all of their goodies. I like the tripe because it's conveniently pre-sliced into cubes. Not to mention, the frozen treats also come in re-sealable bags that just add to the convenience ! I'm starting to think that this had to have come from a mom's ingenuity !Also one of my dogs is very smart about medicine and spits out even the tiniest crumb after I grind the pill with my mortar & pestle Until I discovered the meat stumps ! The meat stumps are perfect for very smart picky dogs who don't get fooled by pill pouches My dogs are uber duper picky ! They refuse to eat any canned meat like Spam, vienna sausages or sandwich meat. They also do not eat Milkbone or those cheap Made In China treats. They love raw green tripe, raw beef and raw chicken gizzard and hearts. Your dog will love you for this !

I think it's a bit less species variety overall than maybe the fish shops in Kalihi and the aquarium concepts shop nearby in mapunapuna, but a bit more selection of fancy guppies at the same time. The big-brain flower horns, discus, some display tanks, and axolotls were a cool surprise. Some of the resident loaches were huge, especially the albino dojo near the front! Too bad I forgot to take a photo. That thing must be like a foot long and a decade old, and maybe as thick around as a portuguese sausage. Huge hump of fatty muscle along its back. I'd been wanting to check this place out! It definitely is a little cramped and cluttered looking inside and the smell is a little strong, but not too bad. There was a long-gone hollow goldfish staring at the sky, that gave me small-kine jump scare when I squat down to look at a tank. It was just randomly drying out at the bottom of a bucket in the aisles, which was, uh... anyways. I wanted to know more about an unlabeled and unpriced freshwater plant that somewhat resembles seaweed, so the buff dude grabbed a handful to show to the cashier lady at the front. The buff dude was attentive and personable throughout my visit, and did his best to answer questions about the fish, which I appreciated. The cashier lady though, she mumbled a name but I don't think she knew the plant that well and didn't write it down either. What she was somehow very sure about was the price, lol... just plainly stated the price for a clump is $7.99, though the tank of plants above it were organized in much neater clumps, and advertised at $5.99 each. Not only that, she had to step down from the cashier box to get her hands wet, and manually separate the handful of plant that the man grabbed. Started as a healthy, natural looking clump that would fit nicely in an 8 oz container, and she tore it in half. So, now it's small enough that it fits in the palm of your hand! Did she think to wash her hands first after handling cash and coins all morning? Nahh... But she was very insistent to him that he was definitely (and arbitrarily) holding two clumps, not one! She knew I wanted to buy it, and I'd already got a few pricier fish in my cart, so I guess she felt I could afford to cough up an extra few bucks. Yeah can, just don't think that I don't notice the grubbing... Business goes on as usual. I needed to get on with my errands that morning and eh, the shop has some local mom-and-pop vibes so I gave it a pass.

She was very friendly and helpful, told her what the tank was for and what I was kinda looking for and she showed me some options. She then took me to her computer and showed me the dimensions of the tank I was looking at( just to make sure it'll fit on my stand at home) I called them back when I measured it and she told me she would have her boss call me and send me an invoice for the tank. Fast forward bought the tank and told them I'd pick it up the next day after work. Come that day to pick up my tank Ryan (the manager) helped me. I told him I wanted a good quality filter so I wouldn't have to really maintain it all the time. He was veryyyyy helpful and knowledge!! He gave me a few options of the filters, the best ones and the ones that he wouldn't recommend for my fish.He also gave me pointers on how to keep my axolotl cold. (They can only be in cold water) bought the filter (oase filtosmart thermo 200) he recommended and Ryan actually showed us how it works and how to set it up. $500 later, we had the whole set up. Even though it was pricy, I rather pay for the good quality things cuz who wants to keep wasting money on cheap/ meh quality. We tried setting it up when we got home and for some reason the water wasn't going through the tubes. I called pet depot and George offered to FaceTime us to see where we were wrong and walk us through the steps. 15 minutes later the filter worked and my axolotl couldn't be any happier! I truly want to thank all these people for their TRUE Customer service. I honestly haven't been this blown away with this kind of customer service in a really looong time. They went FAR and BEYOND just for us. They gave us their honest opinion and went that extra mile face timing us!! I still can't believe it! Thank youuu soooooo much for alllll the help!! Very much appreciated it! So anyone that needs any pet supplies pls go to this store! 10000%% worth it!
