Solid, basic, affordable poke bowls. You get what you pay for here, meaning that since it's on the cheaper side, it feels a little smaller than others I've had (in the picture the bowl easily fit in the palm of my hand). However the ingredients were great and though the topping selection was also on the more limited side, it turned out to be an overall good bowl. read more

I got the custom poke bowl with extra salmon and spicy tuna. I have to say I'm pretty picky with my salmon, but the salmon here was definitely fresh! Maybe a little too fresh because I couldn't taste it as much? The spicy mayo I got was a bit bland though and had to add soy sauce (even though I don't really eat things salty). Maybe next time I'll try a different sauce. I ordered for pick up so I wasn't able to really interact with the employees but they seemed fine. The store was small, cute and clean. There were a couple tables to dine in as well. Overall, the ingredients are fresh and still delicious. I would definitely come back if I happen to be in the area, craving some poke. read more

Pretty solid for a local, newly opened business. We came in on a weekday around 6 and there was virtually no wait (probably since Rowan University isn't fully in session). We both opted for build-your-own which gives you plenty of options to choose from. I got one scoop of ahi tuna and one scoop of spicy salmon since I'm indecisive. Mix-in selections are plentiful as well - there's something for everyone! If I were to order again, I'd ask for less sriracha aioli but overall, very happy with our takeout experience. one of the best bangs for your buck around rowan. couple who runs it is super friendly + very quick and professional. veryyyyyyyy reasonable prices for a poke bowl place. they load you up on the raw fish too they treat you right. place is super chill and i like the tropical mural wall painting. don't sleep on the slides like the steamed bun and mochi. highly highly highly reccomend walking the extra block or two off campus for a trip. they take rowan bucks too which is like the same thing as your free printing money if you're a student, so very worth read more

My daughter and I come here every time she comes to visit from Philly. I was first introduced to Poke in the city, but Aloha Poke is as good as you will get. The service is always very quick and although you can eat there the ambiance is not very good. We get our orders to go and eat to home. We always build our own and usually get two proteins, the bowls are always fresh with generous portions. It is run by a couple with a young child and such a great addition to the Glassboro / Rowan University scene. read more

Food I rate a 3, could be a 4. The reason why I rate it "low" is because of their rice. I ordered white rice for my bowl, but they used plain jasmine rice. I'm usually accustomed to sushi rice for poke bowls from different poke bowl places. That was the difference maker for me. I included salmon and spicy crab. They gave generous portions and everything tasted fresh. Another reason why I rated the restaurant low as a whole is the parking space. You would have to park on the street since there's no parking lot specifically for the restaurant. I'm glad there's a finally a poke bowl place in the Glassboro/Washington township area, but due to parking and quality of rice, I can't say I'll be a regular to this restaurant. read more

I tried this place for a third time and now it's three strikes and I'm gone. Their prices are really high compared to other poke places and their service sucks. I ordered online ahead of time all three times and each time I went to pick up my order, they had never even looked at their online orders and hadn't even started it (even though I had ordered it LONG before I ever picked it up). This place by far has the best poke i've ever had in my life. I'm a poke enthusiast and have tried every poke place around and get it whenever I am out of state or on vacation. Hands down the freshest, most options, extremely filling poke ever. They have a huge sauce selection and they don't charge extra for seaweed salad in your bowl! The man and women behind the counter were super quick and super nice! They are better than Oki Maki and Ten Food Hall. I hope they expand to offer house made drinks such as fresh brewed tea or bubble tea because I will definitely be back! The place was also super clean.
