The front desk staff were all amazing; every shift. Our room had very limited space and no place to put our suitcases. It's definitely a one person set-up. The bed was Marriott comfortable. The lighting in the bathroom and shower area was poor. Definitely could use daytime lighting. The wood door between the toilet and sink was heavy and hard to move. Our shower door didn't have a rubber strip therefore the water flooded the floor outside. We had to soak it up with bath towels. The lobby area was fun and festive. We enjoyed the games provided. For pool lovers, there's a table. Location is convenient to plenty of restaurants. Talking Taco was amazing, don't miss it

What a surprise...extra goodies in my room were a very nice touch!

Very clean room 14th floor room Typical city noise heard in room but a/c has setting which help drown the noise out. Clothing steamer in room is a nice option in place of standard iron. Valet parking available @$40/night (Brickell is hectic so this was a nice option to minimize the craziness.) Valet attendant polite and helpful. Check in easy. "Dry bar" brand toiletries in room.

Bed Bugs at The Aloft Miami Brickell

DO NOT BOOK A ROOM AT THE Aloft Miami - Brickell because THEY HAVE BED BUGS. I was in Miami for an important Real Screen TV Conference so, I checked into the hotel on Sunday February 1, 2026 and I was awakened on February 2, 2026 at 5:00am in the morning itching. When I turned the light on I had red bites all over my left arm and I literally saw a bed bug marching across my pillow. I called the front desk and spoke with Stephanie who came up to my room and I showed her my arm and the bed bug. She immediately began saying that the hotel had to investigate. INVESTIGATE WHAT?? THE EVIDENCE WAS RIGHT IN HER FACE! She changed my room but I had to find another hotel to go to because I DID NOT WANT TO SPEND ANOTHER NIGHT IN THAT BED BUG INFESTED PLACE! The Aloft had the nerve to still charge me for the one night KNOWING they had bed bugs. I also lost thousands of dollars having to cancel meetings on Monday, February 2, 2026 in order to carve out time to move to another hotel. AND I HAD TO PAY ANOTHER $1,400 DOLLARS that I didn't have to spend, to stay at the new hotel. The Aloft didn't even provide me with transportation to the new hotel. The Aloft never offered to launder my clothes. THE ALOFT DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!! And further more, they really don't care about Black people. I know if I were a white woman there reaction to me would have been very different. I have provided videos and photo of the bed bug and the bites on my arm. PS: THE MANAGER WAS HIDING! WHO EVER THAT WAS NEVER GAVE A CRAP TO SPEAK WITH ME. HOWEVER, the front desk staff was AMAZING! Excellent Customer Service. I DO NOT BLAME THEM.

Basic Marriott hotel, with a younger, more modern vibe. They have a nice outdoor pool that is secluded. They do have a parking garage however there is a charge to use it. Basic hotel room, nothing fancy.

We booked our trip to Miami last minute and ended up staying at the Aloft for 4 days. We didn't experience anything horrible at this hotel but the stay was just mediocre. Our room was spacious and the decor was lot of of bright colors. It wasn't really my aesthetic but it wasn't ugly. We had two closet space, a desk, a large sitting ottoman, a queen size bed, and a cute balcony. The bathrooms were cleaned. They used Dry Bar products which I liked. What I didn't like was during our stay our shampoo bottle which was inserted in the shower wall fell and they came and fixed it for us quick. There was also no place to put your extra things in the shower since it was just one big shower without any ledges. I slept fine but the beds are very very soft. The pillows were soft too. I can see some people not like that. It was a little low for me as well. It was not very raised. They also had small gym and there were some weights missing. Overall I didn't have any complaints. The location was pretty central and it was easy getting everywhere. It's about 15 minutes from the port. I found the staff to just basically do their job. They weren't overly welcoming or nice. They didn't really say hi to guest that come in and out. It was fine for a short stay. I believe their valet parking is $30 a day.

This was a brief stay during a holiday weekend, and I was prepared to give a 'free pass' and overlook any service challenges. There were none present throughout and, in fact, it was some of the most initially welcoming hospitality of any Marriott property in all of 2023. The location is convenient to many shopping/dining options, and a short walk to both MetroMover and Metrorail. No great views from any of the rooms, but I wasn't desiring a view, so zero issues there. The placement of mini fridge was unique for sure and I initially overlooked it. The water pressure on top floor was very weak but a quality shower can still be done. Elevators were working fine and in good shape. The pantry in lobby offers minimal options, but it still works. Ice is only available in the lobby. I might have given this hotel the fifth star had I not been concerned with a safety issue.

The hotel is conveniently located near excellent restaurants, a kids' park, and a train station. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, though they are smaller compared to other Aloft hotels in Miami due to the central downtown location. Note that parking is not included, but there is street parking available nearby.

I loved this hotel, from checking in to check out. I had to use the business center, the computers are fast internet connection is great. The staff is amazing, everyone was so accommodating and so polite and kind. The rooms are gorgeous with balcony and a great view of Miami. It's not near the water which is the only downfall but you're still in the center of a bunch of things. There's a 24-hour CVS, there's a Wendy's and other food places to eat within walking distance. And they also give away complimentary water which they keep colds in their fridge. The only disappointment is and there was no breakfast though it stated that they would be, they do have items for purchase but it is not a big option. The hotel smells so great still from the time you walk in and walking through it it has just this wonderful smell. And again shout out to the staff for being so accommodating and wonderful

Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. It served its purpose. We needed somewhere clean and decent to stay and Aloft provided just that. Aloft is located in the heart of Brickell minutes away from anything you would possibly need. We had leftovers from dinner and we're able to go to the main level and use the microwave to warm it up. We discovered on our last day that they offer complimentary coffee. We used the valet service for $30 a day. It was much cheaper than parking in the street and using the PayByPhone app. Street parking has to be paid up until 4am and then again starting at 7am .. every hour is $3.25 ..so the valet was def a lot cheaper.

I so wanted to give it a five but a few things wrong. First some clarification. This is not a four star hotel compared to JW Marriott or Ritz. It is rated compared to a Courtyard or similar. To me it's a millennial minimalist courtyard with louder colors and peppier music. OK why only 4? Very minimal almost dorm like rooms. No microwave in room but they do offer a small fridge that will hold drinks or small takeout containers , and breakfast is light ala cart offerings that are a bit pricey. Lastly no ice machines on the floors or alternating floors. If you want ice you have to go all the way down to the lobby. The room is clean and the cleaning staff polite and thorough. The west side can get a little noisy with Miami Fire Station 4 being one block away but the guys do a good job of avoiding sirens later in the night. Why did I rate it so high? Staff and location mostly. The desk and cleaning staff were awesome. Location, you are one block away from the metro mover( free), metro rail, trolley (free) pick up across the street You are 2.5 blocks from the Brickell party scene (Blue Martini) and a variety of restaurant 1.5 blocks from a grocery store. Pool side sun is limited with it being at ground level surrounded by tall building and parking is expensive but it is Miami. A good short stay hotel. Not sure it's good for longer stays.i

One of my best friends wanted to celebrate her birthday and we got a good deal on some rooms here. There were 8 of us and we got 3 rooms. The lobby was pretty nice, modern and sleek. They had a bar, some TVs and a pool table. The room itself was decent. We had a room on the 14th floor so there was a nice view from our balcony (especially at night). The bed was super comfortable and the ac was really cold (thankfully). There was no self parking, however, and valet was $25 a night but there was no other option. The location wasn't really near any good going out areas but it was still worth it.

Came to Miami for Miami Music Week 2019 and had heard good things about this hotel from my friends who had previously stayed here before. It also didn't hurt that I managed to score an AMAZING deal for six nights. Seriously, if I told you how much the room was you wouldn't believe me. Anyways, we had a block of four rooms with two queens. We elected to take an accessible room since that guaranteed us a walk-in shower. Pros and cons of our room: Pros: 1. Really spacious room, although a lot of it was dedicated to the front entrance of the room where a lot of it seemed like wasted space. The part of the room itself with the beds could've used the space, but it's definitely NOT a small room at all. 2. Every room has a balcony, although your mileage may vary on your view. We decided to pass on the corner view room since we didn't want to be bothered by traffic. But they definitely got the winning view compared to us. Our view was...of a back alley lol. 3. Beds were really comfortable, never had a bad night of sleep here. Cons: 1. Lack of lighting on the wall where the TV was just seemed like insanely bad design to me. I know W hotels are supposed to have a modern twist to them. No, the lack of lighting just made the room a lot darker than necessary. 2. Not impressed by the shower drainage situation. I knew we were going to have issues when I walked into the bathroom and there were towels ready to block water from coming out. Yeah, after a few days, we had to change those towels. I know it's an accessible room, but come on. I'm actually surprised that the flooding wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. 3. Again, I know it's because they're to have the modern flair. But god damn, it was really annoying to only have one central bedstand. Ended up having to smash a bunch of pillows together to create my own "bedstand." The main reason our stay was so memorable was due to the amazing staff here. Francine and Jonathan both were on top of everything we needed (doesn't hurt to have Platinum Elite status!), and made sure all our needs were met. Staff seriously made our stay way here better, and I'm really thankful to everyone here for treating us well for our week's stay here. Another major plus is that the hotel has an amazing location. Publix was right next door, so it was easy for us to grab supplies for the week. There's a huge mall that's within walking distance too, which actually helped a lot because I had to make an emergency run to Apple to fix my camera. And it's super close to the highway...by the time I was done here, I basically knew how to get back to my own hotel because of all the Lyfts I had taken LOL. Aloft Miami Brickell is definitely a dated hotel when it comes to its rooms, but it makes up for it with its staff and location. Considering the price we paid for it, I can't complain whatsoever about my stay here. Wouldn't mind staying here again if I ever decide to come back to Miami!

Walking distance to a Publix, the mall, bakery, etc. The hotel checkin is on the 6th floor, the first floor is mainly a seating area and concierge. They offer free hot breakfast, mini fridge and microwave in the room, cruise shuttle at time of this review is priced at $12 with pick up times at 10a, 11a, and 12p. If you miss breakfast, they had breakfast bags with fruit and other grab and go items. You will need your room key to access the laundry room and guest floors. There is no carpet in the room I was in (basic king- not the elite level) and pets are not allowed. Service animals only. The hotel has a lobby bar, three restaurants are located right next door (Sproutz, Batch Gastropub, and Shahs of Kabob). I dined at Sproutz and Shahas of Kabob and both are good, but they are not affiliated with the hotel. I stayed 3 nights prior to my cruise and I really enjoyed my stay. The air conditioner worked with no issues, pillows are very soft, bed was firm, but not uncomfortable and I slept better in that bed, than my own. There is a master light switch to control the overhead light in the entry and bathroom. You can operate them separately (it just takes some flipping of lights to figure it out). Decent water pressure and nice, hot water at night. Morning time I suggest getting your shower in early. Hot water is still present but not as hot as it was the night before. Tip- I took my shower at 5/6am the morning of checkout and the water was hot and perfect for a nice shower before leaving for cruise. Staff was always smiling, friendly and willing to assist. Carlos at the concerige desk is very helpful, ask for his recommendations and he is more than happy to assist. The 7th floor has the laundry facility, but many machines were out of order. This is going on my pre cruise hotel list because it was the perfect hotel and the perfect location. It was about a 15min ride to the cruise port and airport. The cruise port ride was booked for 8am, so I beat the 9am bumper car cruise port traffic. The video I posted is short and quick, but a glimpse of the room

We had a two day stay before heading out on a cruise. An extended vacation if you will. The service was phenomenal! We stayed on the Elite Level which provided extra goodies, and benefits. Sharing a picture below of what they define as the elite level and the benefits included. The location is perfect, in the middle of all things Brickell/Downtown. We were surrounded by restaurants/eateries, coffee shops, stores, the park, city centre you name it! Super convenient because we didn't need to call a Lyft to get around. So you better believe on the days we did go out, we got our steps in. It's giving HEALTH! 2026 who?! We are starting NOW honey! Okay, back to the review....hot (and cold if you're into that) breakfast was served each morning for free! You read that correctly. Free food honey. I mean you did pay for it so why not go ahead and eat? Your business not mine. Non-smoking hotel. Pools. Fitness center. The whole ordeal. A little store with snacks, drinks, and whatever else you feel you may need or want. I should also add that the hotel prides themselves on being accessible. Let's move towards cleanliness. Because cleanliness is next to what?! Godliness! Okay, I see yall! The room oozed of cleaning products. You would have thought the staff had just left from pouring Clorox and whatever other good smells needed to make a space smell delicious. Oozing with fresh aromas! The bed, not mine, but theres, was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in when traveling. Hotel beds typically don't bring out the best in me, I am in fear of all beds that are not my own. Laugh if you must but I am who I am! However, a soft bed with clean linings - sign me TF up. The elite levels are on the 14th and 15th floors. They provide robes and slippers. Did not wear the robe. Read what I said about the beds and sit with that. Anyway, I did wear the slippers and they are about as thin as a sheet of loose leaf paper lmao! The chair rolled on top of mine and ripped the back of it so they lasted about 12 hours for me. #SelfInflicted I know. It's a nice touch to have in your hotel room though. Me personally, I travel with slippers. As I bring this review to a close, I want to highlight the staff members that assisted during the stay. Mr. Ernest, Russell, and everyone else at the front desk that extended a warm welcome and consistent assistance. Thank you again! One hiccup that was addressed immediately. They have an "in-room dining option." This particular policy states that you can order food and have the food delivered to your room. Okay convenience! And accessibility! Well I ordered some food from a nearby eatery and the delivery person was not allowed up. "We don't allow people to come up to the rooms for safety reasons." Heard. And appreciated. Truly!! They value safety. My issue was when asked about the policy in place, being asked if I had a medical condition to where I couldn't come down and to get my delivery. While a relevant question, that is something I'd recommend treading lightly around. You never know anyone's health/medical condition. Furthermore, if your policy states one thing then every staff member needs to be on one accord. The issue was taken care of and the person was able to deliver my order. The front desk member was also not rude just inquiring. I appreciate how quickly the matter was resolved. If you're headed on a cruise or you're in need of a nice hotel that is conveniently located, Hampton Inn Brickell is your girl (or boy), be who you are!

My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night prior to a cruise. We used credit-card points to pay for the room. The employee at the front desk spoke nicely with us and allowed us to check into our room early. Our room had a balcony, king-sized bed, television, desk and chair, sofa, closets, large walk-in shower, wi-fi, and views of the bay. The room was comfortable and clean, but we could sometimes hear our neighbor's loud music. I did notice that the floor boards had gaps and that some wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Building amenities included a business center, meeting rooms, swimming pool, fitness center, a restaurant, etcetera. This hotel has a restaurant called Caña, and we ate one meal there. I will review it separately under its Yelp listing, but it was decent.

Hotel is in a really good location. a 10min walk to Brickell City Center which we absolutely loved. It's in a very safe neighborhood so walking to the mall even at night doesn't feel sketch. They also have valet. Overall a great stay. So happy we've found our Brickell spot! We will definitely be back! Thank you Hyatt :)

Ultimately, this review is mostly moot as the hotel is planned to be demolished in May (I wish I…read morehad known this prior to booking) and that explains a lot about the property. First, the good, it's an awesome location on the southern tip of Brickell Key. The pool was wonderful and gets mostly continuous sun exposure during the day. My balcony faced west so I had sun during the afternoon as well (perfect for a tan). Honestly, I never felt like I needed to leave the resort being a pool guy. The base price room was spacious and mostly clean with a separate shower and tub. The bad- the service wasn't great here. I felt like anytime I needed something I had to ask 3-4 times before staff would remember (including freebies that were part of the room rate). The one time I asked a concierge for assistance he was super brash telling me to go talk to the front desk. The property felt old and in need of a renovation (again it's being demolished so not surprising in that context). Also, a lot of the ads for the resort promote its beach which no longer exists- it's now a model home for the condos going in. The hotel is pricey and gratuity is auto-included at 20% for everything which would be fine if the service was better and they didn't ask for additional tip on top of it. I wish I stayed here 20+ years ago because it felt like in its hay day this was a swanky hotel. Today, it's tired, on its last months, and the staff really don't seem like 5-star talent (as a benefit to the doubt most people would be unmotivated if things were shutting down too). Part of me is excited to try the new hotel whenever it opens, part of me wonders if the poor service is just part of the brand. The gym was tacky- literally they just through equipment in 6ish guest rooms with the doors propped open. Kind of funny but not 5-star hotel caliber.

There is a minimum spend requirement for the cabana, but it was super easy to hit between food and drinks. And considering you're paying for a dedicated space, service, and a prime poolside setup, it felt worth it. Overall, it was the perfect day to unwind and feel a little luxe. I'd definitely book the Ivy cabana again.

The food was very good as well. We enjoyed a complimentary breakfast as part of our hot tub booking, which was a nice bonus and a great way to start the day. One of the highlights of the hotel is the easy beach access from the back. You can simply walk out and reach the beach, and the area feels safe and lively. You'll often see people jogging, exercising, and enjoying the outdoors, which adds to the energetic South Beach vibe. The walk around the area is pleasant, and the overall atmosphere feels fun and relaxed. Overall, the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel is a wonderful place with great service, good food, and a cool beachside vibe. I would definitely recommend it for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

After a long day of travel, we received two Prosecco as soon as we checked in and arrived. Our room was upgraded and it was located right across on top of the Naked Taco where the rooftop pool is at. It's perfectly located for anything you want to do, all the good food spots, bars, places, etc. The next day we went straight to the beach and they provide complimentary beach chairs, towels and umbrellas upon request and you just walk yourself to the beach with them. There's nothing like Miami Beach! The water was perfect and it felt so good to just defrost on the sand and dive into the gorgeous turquoise water. After a few hours at the beach, we went back, enjoyed late check out and headed to crunch fitness - which was absolutely worth it! We were able to leave our bags at the front desk while we worked out, grabbed a late lunch, some drinks and then got to come back and enjoy the rooftop pool during happy hour for drinks and snacks until sunset. It was the perfect Miami daycation that we needed!

If you're planning just a short visit or don't mind compact accommodations, it works, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. The staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay smoother despite the limited room size. The Brickell area is a vibe, walkable and full of restaurants and shops, which makes it a perfect pre- or post-cruise stay. The hotel's proximity to the cruise port was a huge plus. Check-in is self-service, but assistance is available if needed, which made the process easy and convenient. The king bed does take up most of the room, stretching from the window to the wall, so the room feels a bit compact--but it's thoughtfully designed. The sink is located in the main room across from the bathroom, and I actually found the setup pretty functional. The shelves around the sink were stocked with a washcloth, hand towel, hair dryer, and tissues, plus hand soap and lotion at the end of the counter. There was also enough counter space for toiletries. There's an open closet area and a nice touch of wall art, and the laminated wood flooring gave the room a clean, modern feel. One of my favorite features was the in-room iPad that controls everything--such a fun tech-forward touch. I also absolutely loved the decor throughout the hotel. The colors are vibrant, playful, and stylish without feeling overdone. The second-floor seating areas were spacious and inviting, and the rooftop/pool space was another highlight. There's also a bar on the second floor with outdoor seating, which is a great spot to relax and people-watch. Overall, this hotel has a fun atmosphere, smart use of technology, and an unbeatable location. I'd definitely stay here again, especially for a quick stay before a cruise.
