This place might as well be a motel 6, but that would be an understatement and borderline disrespectful to a motel 6. The lobby smells like cigarettes, the staff is rude and will refuse to let you speak to a manager, and the rooms look like they have used furniture donated to them from the local DMV. The floors are dirty and shower track has mold all over it.

Wonderful a Marriott to stay at in Mid Beach Miami Beach. Perfectly away from south beach but close enough to the action. I'm in love with their rooftop pool area. It's not a huge pool but just big enough and so relaxing up there. The view is spectacular. You can see the ocean and it looks like you're swimming right into it. The pool is heated as well so that's nice. We had a little Mishap with our reservation but Max at the front desk was more than accommodating. The rooms are a little peculiar in layout and it your biggest but if you get a blacony it's nice and you have all the comforts of a Marriott. The bar in the lobby is pretty great too. They know how to make a really good espresso martini. I highly recommend staying here. You're a block away from the ocean, the Edition hotel, and some shops and restaurant. A good inexpensive cuban one. Great location to it all.

Let me just say that the staff here is amazing! We stayed several days and had multiple rooms for family celebrating together. The staff handled requests with complete professionalism and go above and beyond to make your stay as perfect as possible. HUGE shout out to my girls at the front desk, Anirthra and Stachico for handling our large family with multiple rooms. I swear these two are masters at navigating the room situation in the building and they took great care of our entire family. They are super patient, friendly and treat you like family - you definitely get that genuine vibe from them. Pete at the bar is one of the coolest guys we've ever met. Great stories, super friendly, and makes delicious (and strong!) drinks to boot. Seriously how do they find these gems? He never stopped smiling the entire time we were downstairs. The guys outside in valet are super friendly and helpful. I can't remember their names at the moment but they were wonderful and helped us on countless runs to the garage! Definitely will be back - hope the same staff stays here for a very long time. It's hard to find good workers much less the AMAZING ones you have now. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay!

I completely agree with Marcus H.'s review. This hotel was just meh. It served the purpose of giving us a place to sleep and a pool to swim in, but that was about it. It really felt like a basic 3 star hotel. The shower water pressure was low and the temperature was lukewarm for the entire 5 days I stayed there. You have to walk through the parking garage to get to the gym. The pool closes at 8p and they don't want you to bring in outside food or drinks. The bar doesn't open until 5p and they only supply you with beach chairs, no umbrella for the beach. And forget getting any perks, even as a Titanium Elite Bonvoy status member. I would not stay here again when visiting Miami Beach.

I wouldn't give this hotel any stars if i had the option. because of their poor service and how they handled an accident that happened. It's completely unacceptable when a guest gets hurt on your property because of property negligence and they do nothing about it. My husband and i stayed here for a few days in August and were hanging out by the pool. My husband was walking along the pool when he stepped on the plastic grate that was around the pool and his foot and leg crashed through, got stuck on the plastic and tore his leg to shreds. This grate was surrounding the entire pool so it was impossible to avoid. The staff at the moment was very helpful but managements poor way of dealing with the situation was appalling. Because of this we couldn't enjoy the rest of our trip and had to go home early. they never compensated for anything and even charged us for our bar pool tab. How can such a huge company not have gone above and beyond for their guests to make the situation right. Would never stay here and would never recommend this property to anyone. Marriott standards are unacceptable.

Great hotel to stay if you don't want the craziness of south beach. I hold Marriott silver status so was upgraded to a balcony room and I recommend it to everyone. Fun to people watch and Edition Hotel is right across the street. You get to use their beach chairs because they are part of Marriott. Housekeeping is loud in the mornings but they make up for it with their hard work. Front desk is very helpful and gave me a 130p checkout. Would recommend this hotel if you want relaxing place to stay.

Clean faced but once i got inside of the rooms I can say this room needs a DEEP CLEANING. There was food left from previous guest still in the fridge. There's also a stuffy smell that I couldn't get rid of having stayed there for 5 days. With no breakfast included and free bottled water and a basic complimentary margarita over ice I expect more for the price. Would suggest checking your comforter, sheets, toilet and fridge immediately upon arrival.

I stayed here after our flight was canceled in Miami. It was a last minute thing and we got to the hotel at 3:30am. Check in was quick. We wanted double beds but at that time, they didn't have any. Other than that, we had no problem at all and if we had any problem, they were minor. Everything was clean. The hotel is beautiful. All staff were nice and kind. It was $19 for breakfast and you get variety of things to choose from. We relaxed at the pool area after breakfast, was beautiful. At check out, the lady called a taxi for us. Our stay was comfortable and I will stay there again.

I recently saw a video that hotels don't always clean the rooms and change the sheets. I thought it was an exaggeration or lie, but after staying at this hotel I feel like it's true. I checked in and there was sand all over the floor so that means it wasn't swept or mop and in a climate like this. There was also sand under the duvet, indicating the last person there went to the beach and the debris was everywhere. This hotel isn't on the cheap side at almost $300 for one night and I usually have good stays with Marriott's. I do believe there is potential, but I would rather take my stay elsewhere. The hotel is nice and have nice amenities and staff, that's why I gave it 2 stars.

So the hotel seems lovely at first glance but there are many issues with staying there.overall disappointing and and didn't feel like anyone cares about any issues. Generally misinformed staff and we often had to do quite the runaround for information fighting numerous conflicting responses. Shady work with credit cards and reluctance to let you see your final check. Also stayed across from messy employee/trash drop area. NO ICE except if you can catch poor housekeeping running around with individual bags. Dirty rooms and linens (check your pillows before sleeping!) I am a titanium member and thus am always at mariotts so I have something to compare including other AC hotel locations. So, let's get into it. Room: -Unclean there was an old eyelash set on the ground. I told the front desk and no one apologized or even did anything to fix or see if we wanted to change to a clean room. -Next the AC was broken. Although it read 67 (which it would not move past) my phone read the room as 74 our entire stay. When we asked about it they sent the housekeeping to look at it and she tried to push the down arrow ans said oh, none of our ACs go down past 67 ever. Which is rather odd given we are in Miami. Anyways I asked again and they took the amenity fee off (25$ for no sleep because three people are in a hot room, not to mentions generally uncomfortable as Miami got up to 105' while we were there) -yellow stains on pillows like someone drooled all over it previously. So gross!! Again I mentioned this to the front desk with no response or apology. - the bathroom door is slightly opaque and has a huge gap so you can hear everything in the bathroom which is also gross and ruined the ambiance. -we had a nice room with a semi ocean view -patio is HUGE! Which is very nice, although you are alongside many other patios and it seems like someone could just hop over to someone else's patio from there's. But the large patio is a plus. Services -NO BREAKFAST at this hotel. Usually as titanium I have always gotten a free breakfast. Or a como for the breakfast price. Here we get a welcome gift of 10$ (cold continental breakfast the cheapest is 15$ no coffee). So that was disappointing -yoga offered at the beach we were told to meet at the beach then told to meet in the hotel. So we were walking back and forth then just asked them to meet us at the beach. We were told to wait until 7:15 (start at 7) and if we didn't see any people with yoga mats by then then there would be no yoga for the day. So that was confusing. The beach is filled with seaweed. I'm talking straight up coated with seaweed so deep it's up to your shins for about 150 meters on the sand before the ocean so we just went to the editions beach next door and didn't use the provided chairs Chairs are provided but umbrellas are 20$ also only two chairs per room regardless of number of people which is interesting because I got charged extra for 3 guests instead of two. Food Only restaurant was at the pool. -we were told that only the pool was open and not the lounge bar by 3 different people (including front desk, housekeeping, ans the bartender at the pool). So I went all The way to the top floor to get these drinks and came down to the lounge bar opening up. The one they said would not open the rest of the week. The salads are the size of side salads. Only about 150g or less of chicken with the addition. Total of a 20$ salad for a tiny "Greek" salad (no lettuce only cucumber feta and tomato). -WITHOUT TELLING ME OR LETTING ME LOOK AT MY BILL the pool bartender added 15% gratuity, and again I had to ask three times to look at my receipt. I never even saw the final bill from my salads to check that my "welcome gift" Voucher/credit was used. And he left multiple times with my credit card and walked around with all of our cards constantly. Easily could have lost a card. I also don't appreciate automatic gratuity, without my knowledge. I would be happy to have it but when it's not communicated it feels sneaky ans shady. And the fact that he wouldn't let me see my final bill really made me uneasy. -menu online is ALL WRONG that is the menu off of the bonvoy app as well as the website. It mentions specials and many other meals that they don't offer. Overall: Dirty rooms Poorly maintained Little apology or ability to help about cleanliness No breakfast or comprable voucher Extra charge for more than two peoples but all services will only be for 2 people (like my welcome gift only a voucher for 2) Gross bathroom setup Uninformed staff Disorganized Sneaky billing and sneaking around with your credit card. Check your account!

This hotel did not disappoint, great location on Miami Beach. We arrived to a very friendly greeting from the valet to an even better greeting from front desk staff. Effortless check in and then they offered a welcome cocktail- very nice touch. Room was spacious with a good blend of modern comfort. Bed is just the right amount of firmness, bright spacious deck (beach view), blackout curtains and rain shower bathroom. Not a fan of sliding barn door type bathroom closure, but it was ok. In room coffee with tea and pods, complimentary waters and fridge. Reasonably sized desk area and lots of space for suitcases. Room was quiet even though on Collins Avenue. The water pressure in the bathroom sink is intense, so watch out or you'll get soaked brushing your teeth. Hot water in shower takes quite a while to arrive, a little annoying if you're in a hurry, however, the pressure is good and it's nice and consistent once it's on. Property has outstanding roof top pool and a small gym. Good value and location, our second visit, there will be others.

How far a walk is the hotel to the beach? Do you have to travel far for nightlife activities?

It has excellent elevated views of the Miami skyline to the east and the Miami River, boats, and the W Flagler St Drawbridge (historical landmark, built in 1938) to the west. I believe the penthouse is located on the 10th floor of a relatively new building. 2. The venue is modern and versatile. The inside spaces (including restrooms) had a clean, updated look. For this event, there were multiple bars and food stations set up both indoors and outdoors. The dance floor was outside. The combination of string lights, rooftop patio decor, and the city skyline was beautiful. There was only one elevator to get everyone up and down, so there was a bottleneck there. They brought in a fire dancer to perform outside on the rooftop, which was really cool.

A wonderful venue for any occasion, in my humble opinion. We were in a clear sided tent which was well illuminated and the air conditioning did not disappoint. Joe is good to work with. But more importantly you need a great planner. Ours was Jessica G. Events. Was very disappointed in a few of their vendors, I'm posting here because they were recommended by the venue and don't have their own yelp page. Belkis floral- beautiful flowers but forgot the tall floral at the alter and the petals. Forgot we didn't want boutonnières. Very aloof when inquired after the wedding. Sagno catering: The apps were not like we had the tasting. The bruschetta was a tiny bit of tomato topping. Looked very sparse, the dates and walnuts were tiny, only saw the coconut shrimp once in the passed apps. The steak on the main course of the plated dinner was very small nothing like the tasting we had at secret gardens. Chicken Alfredo tortilini was not plated as we tasted. Everything was smaller portioned than our tasting. We did not go with Sagno for the cake since I did not like their cake. We ordered tiramisu, the tiramisu was not made with marscapone instead cream cheese, obviously cheaper and not the right taste. The Miami events- awesome all the way around! The violinist was amazing, the dance floor beautiful and great DJ. Drinks by us- great to work with but only around 8 bottles that were average brands. For a full open bar not sure it would be enough for a lager crowd. There are a lot of additional costs to the all inclusive price. I did feel a little nickeled and dimed about the early access for the brides room. 765.00 to get in the room 7:30 instead of 10. The room is empty and I thought that to be a pricey add on. Beware there is construction on the grounds and the bride and grooms rooms need some updating. All in all the wedding was amazing and like the backdrop of Secret Gardens.
