Update: 2 stars due to poor communication and poor customer service…read more Roof Repair Specialist did solid work on the actual roof replacement -- the installation passed inspection and came with an Owens Corning warranty, which I appreciated. However, the experience beyond that was frustrating enough that I can't give a full recommendation. After the roof was done, I reported gutter damage that needed to be addressed as part of the same wind damage claim. Getting a response became extremely difficult -- emails went unanswered for extended periods and scheduling the gutter work took months longer than it should have. Even Aida, their billing contact, acknowledged 'all the delays' in writing. During this period, their representative Andre verbally offered me a credit in person due to the inconvenience caused by the delays. That credit was never honored. The billing process was equally frustrating. Rather than continuing to engage with me to resolve a dispute I had clearly communicated in writing -- and which I had proposed a specific resolution for -- they went silent and sent the account to collections. The matter was ultimately resolved exactly as I had suggested in my emails all along, making the entire collections episode entirely unnecessary and avoidable. I was left to chase communications between their team and my insurance company on my own throughout this process, which is far more than a homeowner navigating an insurance claim should have to manage. To their credit, Chris ultimately worked with me to reach a fair resolution, and the gutter work was completed. But the amount of effort required on my end was far beyond what it should have been. If you hire them, get everything in writing and stay on top of communication.

I had the good luck to be referred to Lee Yosef and family owned AAA Roofing company. A few weeks ago, during an early winter storm I had the homeowners nightmare of a leaking roof. Being a 21st Century kind of guy Lee went directly to Google Earth and looked up my roof and was able to assess the situation....one that I had not considered....I have a roof full of solar panels. Oops I forgot about those. He advised me that I would need to have the section of the panels in the area of the leak removed so he could come out and troubleshoot the roof, find the leak and repair it. He knew I didn't need a new roof, he knew that I live in Venice Beach and his office is in Calabasas, and he knew it was coming up on a holiday weekend. Remember this is likely not going to be a huge job and the owner of the company saying that he will be coming himself. Nevertheless he put me on his schedule the Monday morning after the holiday. At this point his office manager and wife Anita took over. We texted back and forth frequently always keeping me in the loop. She helped me coordinate with my solar company so everything could be done at the same time. This is a family business and even though we had never met or done business before I felt a personal touch that is not usually the norm. Monday after the holiday weekend Lee arrives as scheduled, spends over an hour on my roof, and finds the source of the leak. He doesn't try to upsell me, or schedule one of his assistants to come back another day to repair what he found. He heads back down to his truck, grabs materials, goes back up to the roof, makes the needed repairs.
