And yesterday' I went there and got non breakfast for the first time there, and it was good. The one think I didn't like about my order, was the chicken tenders were a bit to small, and you only got two with it. I got my steak medium rare but it was in fact cooked to about medium well done, but it didn't matter too much to me anyway. Dinner/Dessert: The clam chowder soup was really good as was the dessert. I got a slice of lemon meringue pie and 2 scoops of French vanilla ice cream, none of this was overly expensive and everything came with its own unique flavour. This would be an ideal meal for someone who is trying to stay away from red meats and/or pork. Overall I'm very happy with how I was served and the food I got for the money I spent here in my first visit and stay in Elma MI. Thank you!

Stopped in for late lunch in October. Apparently newly remodeled, under new management and clean as a whistle. Had burgers and their hand-cut fries. Delicious. Downtown seems to be reinventing itself, this seems to be the beginning of a new era for Alma's Main Street. Hope it continues. Love the small town feel. read more

I had intended to try pasta Alla Norcina which I noticed last visit but the told me it's on the winter menu (I think that they were on the Spring menu). I spoke with the manager and he said to come back in two weeks and they will switch to the summer menu and that it contains his favorite pasta dish. We started talking about the Pasta Alla Norcinia and I told him my relatives are from Norcia Umbria and that I've made it several times. I told him I use Italian sausage and the manager said that the chef uses actual wild boar sausage. He said the chef has amazing connections for ingredients like this. They also have a full time pastry chef on staff and all their deserts are home made. I was informed that the chocolate ganache cake has had the longest run on the menu and never seems to come off so I tried that.
