This review is specifically for the in-person passport photo service offered here…read more After a disappointing experience with FedEx's online partner (RushMyPassport/govWorks), we decided to try the non-virtual option. When I called to ask whether an appointment was needed and what the recommendations were about clothing, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the assistance I received by phone. The young woman who took my call was courteous and helpful. At the store, we were very positively impressed by the service provided by MANPREET, who proved to be both skilled and knowledgeable, as well as pleasant. After the photo was taken, she clearly explained to us details concerning what to expect after submitting the digital photo to the US passport website. In the event that the photo was rejected, Manpreet explained that we would be entitled to a retry or a refund. Thankfully, the image was accepted on the first try and I have since received both my new passport book and card. What was also greatly appreciated was the thumb drive provided by FedEx (at no additional charge!), as we had forgotten to bring our own. TIP #1: Make sure you don't wear a white/light-colored shirt or blouse, unless you have a dark jacket over it. Otherwise, you run a much higher risk that your photo will be rejected at the time of upload or submission by mail. TIP #2: In the event that RushMyPassport/govWorks takes your money without ever allowing you to download the image you paid for--even after reaching out for customer support (as was the case with us)--remember that you have the option of doing a charge back through your credit card company.

The store had just opened and completely empty. The employee makes eye contact and sees me walking…read morein with a package, yet walks away to talk to her coworker instead. All I needed was to drop off a package that was already labeled. She insists that I use the self service area and guides me there so I can scan the package myself. Of course, the receipt doesn't print and I have to ask for assistance again. She has to go through the trouble of opening the lock box to get my package and go through the drop off process just to get me the transaction receipt. This could have all been avoided if she just did her job and helped me directly to begin with.

OfficeMax is the go to place where I recycle all my ink cartridges. It is a bit out of my way…read morehowever it's the closest one I can find. Employees are always welcoming as soon as I walk in the door and they are ready to help me with what I need. I always check the calendar section to see what they have to offer to be ready for the year and jot down those appointments so I don't miss any. Their clearance section is a bit small but sometimes you can find a good deal.

Just wow. I came in last week and somehow lucked out and had a functionally normal experience…read moregetting basic b&w prints made. Today however, I came in with two of the same documents needing the same basic 6 b&w copies of each. First, the service counter worker convinced me to do self service, after I had already emailed the pdf's to the service counter email. Then I send them to the self service email and the access code email never arrives, so I try connecting to their wifi, go through process again and it never arrives. Then I send them from a different email address, go through process again and it never arrives. The entire time, a worker is loudly vacuuming all around me, and the workers at the service desk (10 feet away) never even glance over to see if I need any assistance. Finally, I give up, go back to the counter and they are now helping someone with a complex order and don't acknowledge me. I then walk through the store, find the vacuuming guy and he finds someone to help. Finally the prints are done... which somehow even now are taking far longer than last time I was here. He then hands them to the very first guy who is now back from a long break, but he is helping someone else and never acknowledges me. Finally, I get to pay them, he hands me the 12 b&w pieces of paper, and the landscape print is printed portrait!!!!!!!!! (Cannot use these in such a tiny format). (This is the exact same document they printed the week before without issue). I walk to front, find vacuuming guy who tells me where the manager's office is. I find assistant manager who did the printing, tell him it's a landscape document and show him he printed it portrait and I ask for my money back. He tells me he's helping someone else now and can't help me. Bonus: while I was following vacuuming guy, a giant drop of water landed on me, and then in front of me on the floor, falling out of the ceiling of the store. I tell him and he says "Yeah, we have leaks," full stop. Side note: I never left a review after visiting once 12-18 months ago when the store manager was clearly intoxicated and a young female worker had to take over the transaction as he was too drunk to figure out the cash register. I'm not sure what's going on here but the place smells so bad, water is falling from the ceiling, management could be drunk, almost no one looks you in the eye or has any sense of guest service and you will still have to pay your hard earned money for it anyway. Save your sanity and skip this place.

Avoid this location at all costs. The employees there are incompetent. Do not trust them with…read moreshipping anything of value and anything that is time sensitive. I had a very important packet to be sent Express Priority Overnight and it needed to arrive by Tuesday the 19th so to be safe I dropped my package off with the FedEx shipping counter at this location Sunday evening insuring, in my mind, that it would most likely be out the following day. Monday the 18th. I asked the girl behind the counter who rang me up, even though it is listed online as such and signs everywhere saying FedEx with shelves and boxes stacked with packages, that they do in fact handle FedEx shipping of all types and regularly and she said yes of course assuring me I am handing off my priority package to the right place. Also this is the only FedEx shipping center open on that day at that time. I make the mistake to not check in with my tracking info and just trusted that it was on its way to where it needed to be because in all my years of shipping packages with FedEx shipping centers I have never never never had a problem with them going out only ever with the driver delivering them. Without going into too much detail this package contained very important documents regarding an international travel visa for upcoming work so the folks handling the visas were expecting and needing the documents to arrive on time no exceptions. Today Wednesday the 20th I receive a text from my tour manager asking if I had in fact shipped my paperwork and if I had tracking info. I check and see FedEx .com stating it is currently at the drop off point. This can't be it's been three full days since I dropped it off. I drive to the location and find not only the young lady that helped me initially but a new woman as well and I ask for information regarding my package and why I am being told it's still at the drop off point. This is when the incompetency and total lack of professionalism and abilities begin flooding the room. They do the stereotypical "ummm uhhhh I don't know errrr let me see what????" I look to one of the shelves and what do I see but my envelope sitting. I ask to see it to confirm and yes it is my packet sitting for three full days. I ask why it is still here and they say they don't know. They aren't told when packages will be picked up. Then a third woman emerges who decides to take charge of the interaction though every time I ask her a question she tells me she doesn't know anything and she usually only works nights so she has no information or idea how any of this works. So why the hell am I dealing with you ma'am and why are you here handling the FedEx counter? I ask for my belongings back and the incompetency gets thicker and even grander than before. The third woman does not know how to scan the package to release it, she literally says the words I don't know how to do this and asks the first individual I was dealing with to help her. I ask why my package is still here and still no one can tell me why other than "because it's Express." Well that doesn't make much sense. Why are you running a shipping counter if you have no idea how or when the packages will go out? I think to myself maybe I missed a big bold sign describing the times and days different FedEx packages are picked up so I ask that question only to be told they don't have one. So not only do the employees not know anything, they also don't make it known to the public that just because you drop off your package and pay them that doesn't mean it's actually going to go anywhere. If you know that Express Priority Overnight is not going to be Expressed Prioritized and Overnighted then you should tell people that so they can make the proper considerations for this. Do not sell yourself off as a trusted FedEx shipping center because you are not and you should not be trusted with anything greater than a child's postcard to his imaginary friend. I am now stuck trying to save my job because of this and these people. Celery there were many instances in this whole ordeal that I could have and should have done things differently starting with never setting foot inside this location and trusting these people with something as importance as this that's on me. So the purpose of my long winded overly detailed one star review is hopefully saving someone in the future from the same screw up and nightmare I am currently in.

First, you get personal service. Each time I have personal contact with the person doing the job, and over the years I get to know the staff. I also got great advice on formatting that made my work better. The staff knows graphic arts. Secondly, the quality is good. I've had people comment on the quality of the prints I've sent them. They have LOTS of options for your work and can work with you to find what works for you. Squared backs? Metallic Inks? Third, you get to support a local business that gets to know you - and they have a reputation among their customers that brings them big jobs. You want to get your booklets made by people who've done jobs for big names and your neighbors? That's these folks. I've found the turnaround time pretty good. If you're on a tight schedule be sure to check in on your needs and schedule. My stuff isn't on a tight timeline, so I'm just "do it whenever" and I usually get it in 2-4 days. But I've also seen them work on critical orders with speed. Worth supporting. For extra fun, ask them about the equipment they have, they've got some pretty hardcore printing setups. You'll learn a few things. Oh and if you're hungry the area has restaurants, so if you're waiting or just got an order, go get something to eat.
