The sauna was not on and warming up for my allotted time...instead it took 20 min of the hour session to get to optimal heat setting. Also, the room has windows with shades that were pulled down for privacy BUT there is also a camera in the room so I didn't feel comfortable dropping past my undies...normally it's a birthday suit kinda deal so you can sweat sweat sweat... Bring your own towels (2) one to sit on and one to use for wiping sweat away. The sauna is nice and new with light therapy and several programs like detoxification etc...perfect for sitting but no laying down or stretching out during session. Overall, if I lived closer I would be going to their classes and would use the sauna on a regular basis. Very nice staff.

The only reason I've taken 1 star off is because of how difficult it is to find space to book a class, even if you're doing it days in advance. The classes fill up really quickly. It's not too hard to get off the waitlists (if you're #1 or #2 in line-- I've even gotten off a waitlist and into the class as the #3 in line for an early morning Sunday class before) but I still recommend you plan your classes at least 3-5 days in advance.

Sure, Zumba is fun and at first I am excited to start the classes but for some reason the motivation never stuck. I realize now why I didn't commit - the instructors. Two weeks ago I found a Groupon deal for Zumba classes in Doral and I decided to try it out. Boy, did I get lucky! I am happy to say I found a Zumba instructor I am 100% happy with! Zumba with Sandra is by far the best and the most fun Zumba class I've ever attended! If you're worried about looking like a fool or not being able to keep up, worry no more! Sandra isn't the type to call you out. She just wants you to have fun, enjoy dancing and get in shape. The music is great, the dance routines are super fun and make you sweat ridiculously, but are so easy to grasp. The instructor is so sweet and just smiles, laughs and motivates throughout the whole class. Even the people who attend the classes are fun and nice. I couldn't be happier with this Zumba class and instructor. Go ahead, give it a try. First class is free. I promise you will not regret it! Some days are more movement, some days are breath work and some days are go with the flow. You take what you need. Whithin those 2 years, I started noticing the great changes all over my body. My left knee did't hurt me anymore, my legs grew stronger and my butt just tightened up by miracle. When our world was turned upside down during COVID, the studio was quick to adapt and pivoted to online virtual classes. I was able to continue my practice from home under the supervision of Deanndria and more recently, Shelby. Shelby has created a fun, online environment that presents new challenges each session. She is able to offer suggestions and corrections throughout the class. I know when I return to the studio, I will not be starting all over!
