We started chanting mantras, I loved that they provided a sheet of paper with written mantras and explanation to follow along. Sandrine also took some time to explain the mantra and played the harmonium while she sang along. She was great at explaining the moves and providing modifications throughout the class. She was also gentle adjusting moves when needed. The studio has great vibes and nice lighting, there is a corner with prompts and space for shoes and bags. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is because the floor was a little dirty. I took the 10am class which I believe is the first class of the day, and it didn't look like they took the time to sweep. Not sure if this was a one time thing so I hope they do clean in between classes. The class was great so I will be going back to try more of their classes when I'm in the area.

Incredibly intuitive Jenifer read me right away. Her small studio in Miami Beach is just perfectly…read morecozy with dim lighting and a relaxed ambiance. She talks and helps me to open up about things I need to change in my life. She takes a few notes and listens for key words. Then she takes a reading off of each of my fingers with her machine. We look at the info on her computer and then the best part is laying on her vibrating table as she lights incense and uses instruments and music. She moves my chakras and makes me feel more aligned as she does her magic. Of course, I don't know how she does it but then when we do the reading again, all my fields become more optimal and I feel lighter. Before I came, I had such low energy, anxiety and felt overwhelmed after going through a trauma but now after just 4 sessions, I have seen a dramatic shift. I am more energetic, happier and at ease. Somehow, it feels like things that I was worrying about are working themselves out and I am learning to be more open to the universe providing. I am very pleased with the change and feel encouraged that I am at peace and I am excited to continue this journey.

It flows into a field of green grass, which tends to be active more for their bigger events. Be prepared to be shoeless inside or have earthy zones outside (comfortable, easy off shoes suggested). On many occasions there's live music going in the back. You can tell a lot of positive love, care, and energy went into creating a spiritual environment intended for people to come together and heal / grow as individuals as well as a collective. I've visited a few times with friends for a range of mindful events, including: music nights, spiritual comedy, mastering mindfulness / energy workshops, and even some foodie events! Still, I've missed others like yoga and sound healing. One of their more interactive sessions is the ecstatic playground, where a lot of people from all different backgrounds, creeds, and ages are encouraged to move about and rediscover their childhood like energies and embrace it in adulthood. In sum, I find the center to have a lot of going on and something for everyone. Go with an open mind. Not everything may be for you, nor is it meant to be! It's a great place to try a variety of mindful type experiences. I don't find the vibe to be pushy, so be comfortable in your skin/ boundaries and respectful to others and their experience; I'm sure you'll receive the same treatment and respect in return. On events that have food, there is more vegan and juice options. Street parking is normally available, but if you live close enough, ride share may make sense. The surrounding area may seem rougher than the energy found inside.

However, the internet is always listening and I saw an event invite for a performance art event with an original and fun take on spirituality. Yes, i am being intentionally vague about the event! In any case, the event and performance art space I went to had a great presentation flow. The large open space is great for creativity and the wood floor is homey and inviting to get comfortable. The wood also provides great acoustics for sultry beats. The hosts also had fresh, healthy snacks liker strawberries and papaya out. Dim lighting also helped the ambiance. Oh, they also have a terrace for outdoor activities and a rarity for the area, an actual parking lot. I definitely look forward to future events!

Facilitators have different styles and offer a nice mix of experiences. There is an option to become a member which is great if you plan to attend frequently, you will get discounts for all events. Kundalini yoga is every Monday so this is a great opportunity to incorporate as part of your regular practice. The membership also gives you access to daily online sessions that you can watch live or at your own convenience. Most events are at the Modern Om bungalow but they also have some at Faena hotel in Miami Beach. The bungalow is located in the Upper Buena Vista mall next to restaurants and shops and parking is available on the street using the pay to park app. I would recommend trying a few events and consider becoming a member!

I bought elite shungite from modern om online and it claims to be elite which is why I bought it…read more There are three different types and the elite is the strongest. Unfortunately there is a way to actually test these to see if they actually protect and heal like they say they do. You can actually do it with an OHM meter and check the resistance. Unfortunately a lot of times half of it will be bad and half will probably be good. What I found of the stuff that I bought from modern om is that it is all garbage. It is not elite shungite with the healing properties if it were it would have zero resistance. I'm very disappointed and I will no longer shop here. Don't recommend unless you want cool looking jewelry that's not special
