You need a caregiver who's compassionate and knows first hand exactly what you're going through. You need someone who will take care of your parent or spouse with the utmost respect only because you love them. Let me just say that you will find reassurance and comfort with Pop In Care. I've been caring for my mother since she started dialysis back in the late 90's. It was truly a miracle that my father was a perfect candidate to donate one of his kidneys to her. I guess you can say they were a match made in heaven! They've been traveling the world since then and were looking forward to another year of adventure but then Covid hit. Our world was turned upside down. Last year Mom suffered from two strokes and battled pneumonia. Dad and I were desperate for help! From the moment Teri came into our setting, I immediately felt her true keenness for caregiving. Her level of expertise and professionalism surpassed what I would've ever expected in her industry. She has taken all her substantial years of experiences and has created a custom-made business out of love and passion. She has a magnetic personality with a warm and loving persona and every care giver on her crew exemplifies the same qualities. Pop In Care is a stellar company. Thank you Pop In Care, you've changed our lives forever!

Our family trusted this agency to help care for my father, who suffers from Alzheimer's. Instead,…read morethe experience became one of the most stressful and emotionally draining situations we've ever dealt with. The caregiver assigned to our family regularly spent large amounts of time on her phone during caregiving hours, including personal calls involving ongoing relationship and family drama. I personally caught her sitting up the street with my father during what was supposed to be a walk while she remained distracted on the phone instead of actively caring for him. Out of respect for her situation and because she has children depending on her income, I chose not to escalate concerns immediately. However, after realizing the level of inattentiveness taking place, I intended to formally address the situation. Shortly afterward, the caregiver abruptly quit, and APS was suddenly sent to our home. APS and law enforcement both evaluated the situation and determined my father was living in a safe environment. The timing of these events, combined with what our family experienced directly, left us deeply disturbed and caused enormous emotional stress during an already difficult period caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's. Families going through dementia care are already overwhelmed enough without fear, instability, interrupted care, and added trauma. I strongly encourage families to stay actively involved, document everything, and pay close attention to how caregivers are spending their time while entrusted with vulnerable elderly patients. Be vigilant with companies that are supposed to support families in crisis, because continuity of care, professionalism, and compassion matter when dealing with elderly patients suffering from Alzheimer's.

We started with two days a week, but when things escalated overnight, Assisting Hands was able to accommodate us with 24 hour care, starting that day. It was seamless, on our end. My mom's caregivers are very personable and so patient. Each one can sooth my mom and relax her into a better state of mind. Each caregiver would communicate with each other, and to me, to navigate some of the curve balls my mother would present. I would have been lost without Assisting Hands. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Assisting Hands was highly recommended by my friend so I called Judy and scheduled a meeting. She assured me that she could replace my former service, and with her service I would not have any scheduling problems. She said that Cristina will handle the scheduling and was available to answer any questions or concerns. Her caregivers are attentive to the patient needs, compassionate and my friend is always happy to see them. As a result of their service, I have been able to take some time off without worry. I have been using their service for the past two years and am very grateful for my friend's recommendation.
