I asked for a picture of how I wanted my nails as soon as I walked in. I showed a video of the nails being done black point w silver cat eye and green over it they're called "glass nails".The lady brought out a greenish cat eye polish I let her know it's silver cat eye with a dark green on top she ignored me. I asked her at least 3 times if she was going to do it just like the picture she said she'd try with 1 nail. The nails are bulky and big and don't fit my finger shape I asked for pointy she did almond nail with nothing I asked for and charged me 75$. I was extremely happy with my dip powder service at Allure Nails. They have an easy Online Booking platform and they were very kind when I had to call to push back my time. They offer street parking- so arrive before your appt to find a spot. Allure was very clean and I was greeted immediately upon arrival. My nail tech was Casey and she was very thorough and good! Pix taken days after I got my eyebrows waxed. Days into healing you can see how red and flaky my skin was from the burn and abrasion. refund refused until I threatened post on Yelp. I asked for an appt today and to apply the refund to my pedi. She refused and got nasty - telling me she doesn't want customers "like me" - people who get injured and offer to come back and give you more business? Got it. And trust me -- I've been to a lot of salons and take pride in my own nail care which means I seek quality whenever I go to get them done. Quynnie fit me right in on a Saturday afternoon. She spent 90 minutes ensuring I had enough time to let my nails soak for my dip powder removal and choose my color. Her attention to detail throughout the manicure was second to none, and to finish it off, her hand massage was the best in the biz. She got all the right pressure points. She and I even dreamed up what I might do next on my nails for the holidays when I undoubtedly return. Not to mention the entire salon has been redesigned and feeling clean and fresh. Horrible experience. Made an appointment and my sister ended up waiting while I got my toes done. My entire pedicure was 10 minutes long. Didn't massage, use the cuticle cutters or the callous remover like my sister's pedicure included... yet we got the same kind of pedicure. Instead of taking her time & cutting my cuticles like normal spa services, she used a drill as if I was getting tips. Cut my toe nails too short, and overall a bad experience. Went to get my nails done, didn't make an appointment but they took me anyway. Sat down, last manicure removed and foils on. Another pair walk in with an appointment and make a fuss about having to have pedicures and manicures at the same time but there was only two nail techs. Instead of trying to manage all three of us, they asked me to leave for an hour and left me with nails like these. Sitting in the waiting area writing this for the last 35 minutes, only an hour to go because a manicure alone takes them an hour and a half plus. read more

This is quite possibly the worst nail experience I've ever had. I came in for a gel mani hoping to find a nail salon closer to home. Right off the bat, i asked to trim the nails just a bit and she literally cut the first one super short so I had to bid farewell to my long nails. Then as the manicure kept going she continued to hit my skin and cuticles with the electric drill to take the gel off. Super painful. What was worse is it was literally the messiest application of polish in my life. It looked like a child painted my nails. The polish pooled at my cuticles, lots on my skin and a couple of the nails were clumpy/ blotchy. What's worse is the tips of my nails were rough. It was like she didn't file them or clean the filed bits off? They gave me a gift card to come back and when I came back they put me with the same girl who continued to do the same thing round 2. I opted for a regular mani half way thru since it had been 2 days and I was having them remove gel and I was not convinced it was going to be a better outcome. Glad I did because the polish application was the same. Very uneven, all over my cuticles and still dust bits on my nails so nice lumps under the polish. Definitely do NOT recommend this salon. I gave them their $35 gift card for my regular manicure that didn't even get lotion or a massage as I will never be returning. read more

Well, I called the day before for 2 pedicure appointments for myself and a co-worker. We had 11:30 appointments which was great- early lunch! When we arrived we were told that we were not in the book and to come back later. I explained that we were on our lunch break and could not return. And that we had made appointments. Don't go unless you want to feel disrespected and humiliated by profiling. I called the day before to book an appointment for me and my husband to get a pedi spa treatment. When we got there, they claimed they had no one to do both our pedicures. One of the women there put both our feet in water and told me to wait 15 mins for someone to do my husband's toes. 15 mins turned into 30 mins and none of the other workers made an attempt to start his toes. Three women and a little girl came in for an 11 30 appt and suddenly all the workers were available to start their pedicures. My husbands feet sat in cold water for over 40 mins and he NEVER got his toes done. They said they had to move on to the next party and they thought he wasn't going to his toes done. Really! Tip for the day: Treat everyone with dignity and respect because you never know who you are serving. Discriminating based on the color of one's skin is a reflection of you not on the person your doing it to. read more
