I went to Allure with a little apprehension, because I usually do my own pedicures and haven't had one done for me in probably close to 10 years. I was not disappointed, and can see why most of my fellow Yelpers like this place. My technician, Hannah, was sweet, patient, and gentle. My feet are dry, and I have ingrown toenail issues, so I hate for a pedicure to hurt during the nipping process. However, Hannah had a light touch, and I was very pleased with her quality of work. The place has very friendly staff, and prices are super reasonable. They also have a ton of colors to choose from. Massage chairs and complimentary beverages are a nice touch, too! When I first got my nails done, I thought this place was great. A few days later, my shellac started peeling. I got this gel manicure specifically so I wouldn't have to get them done while I was at the beach for two weeks. Peeled and chipped almost immediately. My matching pedicure (regular nail polish) came off of a few toes completely. I looked down and my polish had rubbed off of several toes within a couple of days. Also disappointing. As I said earlier, this was all for my vacation. I should mention that the prices for everything else were great and cheap. But this particular combo I got still ended up being about $80 ($30ish for shellac mani, $50ish for pedicure), which is the usual price I pay. So I would expect what I would usually get for that price. This was my first time at this salon because I am not from Dallas. Regardless, quite disappointing. read more

I loved Allure Nails until today! Been their regular customer since a year and a half! The staff is good and friendly. My experience was really bad today. Firstly, I felt the girl who was doing my nails was not in the mood of doing my pedicure. She was rushing!! I even told their lead lady that she is not doing it properly. I dunno what did she convey to her..She didn't do the massage properly. The massage was just rubbing the oil and lotion for 10 secs and boom, over!! Secondly, she couldn't speak English.. There are many things that are important to a girl...hair, clothes, and for me the shape and look of my nails is major...I've been getting my nails done since I was 13 and finding a good nail shop can be difficult...but I have hit the jackpot with this nail shop! My shape is perfect every time! They have a wide selection of colors and even though they are in a more upscale side of town they are not overpriced! I have been searching for a new nail salon and I think I found it! My nails were done by Natalie and she was awesome. She took her time and made sure she was giving me what I wanted. They offered me something to drink and I was in and out in less than an hour without an appointment. The facility was very clean as well as quiet. Although they were speaking their native language I was not insecure about whether they were talking about me or not. I've been going to this place for years and it took me forever to find them so I want to help others find them! They just renovated the decor so everything looks beautiful inside. It's a small place - feels cozy, and they just treat you like family. It's the place you go when you only have an hour and they can usually. Squeeze you in for mani and pedi at the same time on a lunch break. Sometimes I am out in 45 min if there's no one else there and I have sandals on!!! Busiest times are 5-7p so if you can get there a little early it'll be worth it. I do the dip mani and classic pedi every time and it always comes out flawless and I never feel like I overpaid. The prices are so fair you can go weekly or biweekly. I don't know the staff names but you get to know every one and they remember what you like. I always ask for extra hangnail care- you have to specify if you want a "mani" for cuticle removal with the dip mani- they don't all know to include it. I only started going to get my nails done professionally within the past year and a half, and I've been to a bunch of places over the metroplex. Allure Nails is seriously the best I've encountered in the area, hands down (no pun intended? haha) !! I've been back about three or four times already. Never any wait time when I walk in, extraordinarily friendly staff, impeccable cleanliness, and I always LOVE how my nails look afterwards. Extremely satisfied. I love that they have such a wide selection of nexgen colors and matches. Natalie did my nails and she did a perfect job. Perfect shape and all. Don did my nails and not once did he or even the staff, pressured me to picking out my colors quickly, shape, nor design. They also took their time too. It was way past their closing time, but they did not rush in doing my nails nor got upset when I asked for additional add ons. I came back a couple of weeks later to get my "vacation prep" pedicure. Partially because I wanted to see if they were really that good or if I just caught them on a good day. Mainly because they're open until 8:00 during the week and my old place closes at 7:00 and I didn't get out of the office early enough. Yes, they are. First of all, they remembered me and asked where my friend was. (Several weeks and countless patrons later!) They were again super nice (making sure I was "relaxed" and bringing me wine and offering multiple refills) and did a fantastic job. When she did my manicure, she actually gave me a short shoulder massage as well. I was feeling kind of bad for making them stay late again (I got there at 7:20.) But at 8:10 someone walked past and saw me in there and she came in to ask if they could give her a pedicure. She told them that she absolutely understood if they were closed and couldn't. They said of course and started her pedicure...10 mins after their stated hours stopped! Wow, I haven't gotten this level of service or quality from a strip mall salon EVER. They made me feel like I was in a high-end salon. Amazing. Definitely found a new place. read more

This is the first salon I visited since moving down here and this was not a good experience! A friend and I came about two weeks ago and we both left the salon unhappy with our nails. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure and my feet were still feeling rough, and the job that was done on my hands was extremely sloppy. Plus, the gel polish already started chipping within a week and now, at about two weeks after, a good amount of polish has completely peeled off my fingernails. The staff there was decently polite, but the techs kept switching and taking turns working on my nails, making me feel hurried and rushed even though I made an appointment. They also seemed to be distracted with other clients and other chores that needed to be done around the salon - probably why my nails were so sloppy! In my opinion, this place is overpriced for the quality of work, or lack thereof, received. read more

So I have just moved to the area and wanted to treat myself to a pedicure. The aren't many pictured of pedicures but i gave it a shot. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because my technician was really nice however the quality of the painting was less than desirable. I had requested white polish but somehow when i was finished, the paint job looked worn. There were still random paint spots on the skin around my toe nails. This place is amazing! I got a fill and a "relax pedicure" they had great massage chairs and the lady who did my pedicure was very thorough and the guy that refreshed my nails was legit. I only get almond nails and i very particular about the shape and which nude works best with my skin tone. Oh they also had gold jewels, i have a hard time finding gold ones. Don has been doing my Nails for a little over a year now and my "One Star" is all on the timings. EVERY time I go in I've ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS made appointments (Since I make a 30 mins drive just for him) and today I went in with an app at 1230. I get there & he always is with someone. The last time I was there it was 35/40 min wait (even tho I had an app) at this point it is just frustrating cause as a loyal client I'm always waiting a long time & it's as my business isn't Good Enough. I came here desperately in need of a pedi...I run and play sports daily so my toes definitely were in need of some pampering and treatment. I wanted to do the classic pedi but of course the sucker that I am fell for the deluxe pedi which was $35 as oppose to $25. The pedi overall was just average..I have been to places that are the same price and a bit more luxurious and just had better treatment. The staff was friendly which I liked and I feel this would be the place to go if you were in need of a cheap (the classic regular pedi) quick fix up or like me, in desperation of making your toes look better. I didn't like how there weren't many nail color choices. Sometimes I can be overwhelmed by the amount of color choices nail salons have but this place didn't have enough. Was hoping to find a local small nail salon. The place is filthy. Clutter, dusty Christmas decor, disorganized old polish, a cloudy fish tank with no fish, snowflakes on the door (it's 100 degrees and August!), a dirty messy show case inside the front door, I could go on and on. The employees wear smocks or aprons which are also filthy. Against my better judgement I stayed and got a pedicure. The employees were nice and the pedicure was fine. I won't return. Convenient to my home so I figured I would try it out. Good pedicure though the polish is chipping after 2 weeks. I'm used to having them last at least a month. Shellac didn't come out to well.
