It was my first time taking my teen to get her nails done before school started. The experience was HORRIBLE. NO PROFESIONALISM AND NO RESPECT. 1. I asked a girl to do her nails while she texted outside the entrence because I heard she did really good nails. We also went at 6 because we knew they closed at 8. 2. She left after placing the fake nail tip before the acrylics. She should have told me she couldn't do it instead of leaving it half way. 3. Another girl finished them, but when we got home and realized they weren't well done, we returned the next day. 5.When the girl did them, the day before, she placed colored acrylic nails! They were supposed to place regular acrylics. 6. They were also horribly done. Nobody believed us until Luz vouched for us that we were there the day before. 7. While Luz tried to fix them, a girl named Ana was so rude and disrespectful, not only to me, but to my kid! She was a bully. While Luz tried to concentrate on her work. Poor girl! 8. Plus, we still got charged for going back to get them fixed. All because they used acrylic colored by mistake. We wouldn't had to change the color if they hadn't made the mistake. The day before, I called to ask how much it would cost. They gave me a different price as well. 9. I really hope the managers look at their recorded footage daily. They lie about prices. Go somewhere else where the people are honest. I asked if removing my cuticles was more money & my tech Kris said no. Then I get to the register & they charged me extra $10 to remove my cuticles. What? I would've removed them myself if I knew they were going to lie & then upcharge. Also, who charges extra for removing cuticles? She told me it comes with the service. They also charged my cousin extra for wanting oval nails. What? Getting your nails done in the RGV is a bit different than further North, but these ladies are top notch, knowledgeable, and Joila did an amazing job on my late in the day mani-pedi and didn't rush at all! This will definitely be my go to on future visits! read more

The most painful manicure I've ever had. She nipped at least 3 of my fingers with the drill and cut 2 fingers with the cuticle cutters. My shellac manicure is super sloppy and my nails were filed so crooked on one hand that I had to go home and file them myself. read more

Worst salon I've ever been to, I left with my toes cut and my skin bleeding it's been two weeks since I went and the cuts haven't heeled on my toes and the bottoms of my feet are peeling off. I'm embarrassed to wear sandals because of my cuts on my toes, I called and came in as a walk in and it seems like the girls all just came out of cosmetology school, the girl I was sat with was named Krystal and the entire time she was wearing AirPods didn't even ask me any questions about how I wanted to toes done, the only thing she talked to me for was for me to pick the color. They updated their equipment about a year ago so the place looks fairly new. It's so rare to see latinas working and to be able to have a conversation the hour or so that you're there. Not only did she do a great job but unlike most other Spanish speakers in town she did not turn her nose up at me as an English only speaker. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I've been working in the Valley for about 3 weeks and was past due for a manicure. I should have known better when I saw that this place wasn't busy. I wanted my nails filed and even and she cut one! I just let her cut the rest so they could be even. I felt like she just rushed through it. Since I didn't want color (I work outside so it would last long anyway), I just asked for clear. While my nails we drying, I took a look to see if they were dry. They were completely uneven!! I also asked for them to be round and they were ALL SQUARE! I could have lived with them being square if they weren't so uneven. I asked for them to be filed properly and she just filed them shorter and still square! Three times!!!! I finally said, "It's fine. Just finish." Even though it wasn't fine at all. I did not let her put polish on since I'll just have to fix the filing when I get home. That's going to be very difficult though since I barely have any nails left to file. Do not go to this place. I didn't even leave a tip after this. Don't judge me. There was no reason to, my nails look awful and I'm actually a very generous tipper when I'm satisfied. I regret paying the $12 though. I should have said that I wasn't going to pay because my nails look absolutely horrible and super short. If you MUST get your nails done, you can do a million times better by doing it yourself at home. read more

After reading all the bad reviews I decided to give this place a try. I'm glad I did I was very happy with the service. It reminded me of my hometown SF. My nail tech was Michael he did a great job. My nails were nasty I was in need for a mani badly and was way over due. Before he started I told him how I like my nails clean.He clean them really good. A lot of people hate on this nail shop because the techs speak their language and people can't understand them so they think they are talking shit when they are not don't listen to the haters try it for yourself. The old lady doing my toes seemed fresh out of school or out so long she forgot how. Extremely rough with my toes, it felt like she was taking her frustrations out on my toes! Then because of the language barrier she thought I wanted some fancy pedicure. Before that I told them I wanted nails too but not til after. However they still tried to do them at same time. The lady was so sloppy with my toes I wasn't about to let her touch my fingernails but I got grief when requesting another person and she still tried to do them anyway but I INSISTED on someone else. We were still deciding to on which colors we wanted when they called to us from the other side of the salon to tell us the water ready- then the woman who did my toes came over and fetched me because I was still taking too long. (No one else was waiting behind us.) My friend brought over three colors because she was still deciding- the woman working on her toes kept pushing and pushing her to decide on one. Both women just rushed through the pedicures, like we were an inconvenience to them. I put my feet in the water, pulled the armrest of the chair down, and she was already pulling my first foot out of the water. The other woman kept glaring at my friend. It was the quickest pedicure I've ever had. While we were drying our toes and my friend was paying, the woman stood over her and stared at her and reminded her multiple times to sign the receipt. She was incredibly rude about it. We're never going back. I'd swear the women thought we were an inconvenience. read more

Been comming here for 4 months now. Their staff is always friendly. They also have Spanish workers if you don't speak english. I've never had a problem, I did once have my shellac fall off but they were very nice about it and fixed it for me with no charge. They have tons of shellac colors too.
