This place is amazing! Fit is so important and they are the best. Fit directly effects a woman's spine, shoulders, posture and self esteem. On my first visit, the staff member had me in my perfect fit in under 10 minutes. She even told me about rotating daily to keep elasticity, I've never been taught this. Best $ I'll ever spend. I do think fitting should be taught to girls at a young age. How many of us lived in the wrong fit for years?! It's just wrong and not necessary. I suggest Allure do fitting class during sex ed in school or when we get out spines checked for scoliosis or a special body physics class? or for Girl Scout troops? Or after basketball physicals? Maybe you could carry a line for their budgets or find a women's group to supplement the cost? Teach early - No more bad fitting bras! It's not worth it. read more

Over the weekend, I saw this shop as my husband and I just finished eating. Earlier that day, I went to a large retailer inquiring about a bra only to be told they didn't have anything in my size that I selected. Allure was set to close in 30 minutes so I went in just to ask if I needed to schedule an appointment. Anna and Amanda told me not at all and that they could assist me right then and there. Anna and Amanda took great care of me and were super patient. I was worried about the time but they weren't. They wanted to make sure I walked out with a correct fitting bra and were honest about ones that didn't fit me properly. I was able to walk out with a bra I liked and even ordered another to be delivered to my home and all right when it was time for them to close even though they didn't mind staying if they needed to. This is what great customer service is about. Even though I live near another location, I will come back to these 2 ladies. I needed new bras and just to get fitted to find my true size, and it only took 30mins. The staff members are so nice and really helpful. I was able to learn more about how bras should be worn, adjusted, and cleaned. These bras raised my self confidence, and I was completely surprised that I had been wearing the wrong bra size for so long because department stores just don't have bras for big chested women. Loved the colours, and how many different styles they had. They are on the expensive side, but that's the price to pay for a bra that fits, looks amazing, and will last. I WILL BE BACK!! read more

Allure has a large selection of well made, supportive bras in larger sizes. While they are good quality products, they are VERY expensive and you are better off getting fitted and then buying your bras online. When I was pregnant, they told me that I could bring in ANY bra and have it converted to a nursing bra. They did not state that it needed to be a bra purchased there. After I had my baby, I brought in two bras - one was a Lane Bryant bra (obviously not purchased at Allure). They converted them to nursing bras and then shipped them to my house. Two months later, I went in to have two more bras converted. The sales woman told me that they could not do bras that were not purchased there. I told her about the two bras that had been altered previously. She called her manager to clarify their policy. She also looked at their records of the previous alteration on the computer and threw the sales people that were in the store that day under the bus. Allure- you need to be consistent with your policies and not waste your customers' time. Because of this, I will not be shopping here anymore. The prices are too high and the issue with the bra alteration lost my business. read more

They really understand bra fitting, they carry beautiful products in a wide range of sizes, they are attentive, knowledgeable and kind. They create a profile for you so if there's a bra you like but aren't ready to purchase you can go back to it later. The same profile allows them to restock you on demand. They also carry shapewear. My sister-in-laws brought me here several years ago and I have been so happy with the fit, style and longevity of their bras. The customer service is fantastic. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable but not pushy. I recently brought my 88 year old mother there and we finally found some bras that were comfortable for her. No where else can I get a bra my size, that is fun, and reasonably priced. Tried other places and they tried to squeeze me into bras clearly not my size. A different specialty bra stores asked for 150 a bra. While I'm all for knowing your worth and adding tax, that just isn't reasonable for 1 bra. Here I can get a bra in many different colors ( sometimes it has to be ordered in) and that fit me well. I literally just walked out of this store in tears. I walked in, was greeted by a sales lady who asked what I wanted, I told her a bra. She asked what size I normally got. I told her, she snorted and said "ha! You're definitely not that size." Wow. I felt... wow. Really upset and insulted. The last thing I wanted to do now was get topless in front of this woman, but I did. I was prepared to drop $90+ on a good bra. However the only thing they had in my size was boring, and unattractive, a "granny" bra if you will. I would have had better luck at torrid or Victoria's Secret, which is ridiculous considering this is a speciality shop. No one told me about any online/ordering options. They made me feeling really, really bad about my body and I was very disappointed in my options. Never going back. read more

I'd heard about how important it is to have a professional bra fitting at least once in a woman's life, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I went online to gather some options and came upon Allure's website. I think they also advertise on MyTalk 107.1, so that probably subconsciously helped. I was pleased to find that they had a location in St. Paul, so I went over there after work on a weekday. [One tiny downside was that the parking lot adjacent to the retail shops is 15 minute only. So I parked up the street. Minor complaint.] There were not any customers in the store at the time I walked in, but the woman behind the counter immediately greeted me and asked if there was anything I needed. I told her I had heard about bra fittings and that I would like to have one so I could figure out my size. She said that would be no problem, and asked me a few question (am I okay with underwire, do I have a color preference, is this for day-to-day wear? etc) as she showed me to a dressing room. I took off my coat and sweater off, then she came in, took a few measurements and said she'd be right back. She came back with three of really nice looking bras. She asked if I would like help trying them on, and I said yes (hey, when's the next time someone's gunna help me in a dressing room? Not likely soon). So I turned with my back facing her and she handed me a bra over my shoulder. I slid the straps up my arms and she fastened the back and adjusted the straps. Then I looked in the mirror and assessed. Lather, rinse, repeat. One of the three fit basically perfectly, so she left that one in the room and went back out to grab three more. Tried those on and then ultimately decided to buy the 1st one that fit so well. She took it up to the counter for me while I got dressed, then I went to the register and paid for it. It was an expensive bra ($85 if I recall correctly), but it may have been the highest quality, well-fitting bra I've ever bought. The whole fitting took maybe 15 minutes tops, and the whole thing was just a great experience. Overall, I am so glad I went here to try this whole bra fitting thing out. I was hoping to have a good experience here, but I really didn't. They didn't have a large range of sizes or styles, and the store felt a bit... old. Like older women would be shopping there. Not that that's a bad thing, just not what I was expecting from their website (which I am impressed with). Also, I think that Allure could do better with hiring a bunch of different looking sales associates. Edit: The owner also seems to be a little too concerned with insulting me than trying to make me see the positive of her business. As a customer who was disappointed, I don't think that the appropriate response was to tell me that I "had a little too much to drink." Mama knows best. This is the store where my mom buys all her bras and lingerie, and after a trip here with her this weekend it is now where I will be buying all those lovely items as well. The service was excellent. I was in and out in no time, and I walked out with something that fits perfectly. I mean perfectly. For a pregnant lady with a thin frame and tig ol' bitties this is no small feat! The prices are a little higher than Victoria's Secret, but well worth it for the great service and quality. I'm a woman of the '60s, a bra burner who, at an advanced age, seldom wears a dress and often goes commando. I was down to only one bra that fit me, and that bra didn't have a name on a tag so I didn't know how to find another like it. You can imagine how excited I was NOT to be looking for a more comfortable bra and maybe a girdle to gird my widening loins. Taylor Nelson at the St Paul Allure store turned me around! Not only did she find me a bra that feels like I'm not wearing a bra at all. She showed me how to put the bra on so it actually fit better. Then she went beyond the call of duty. She checked out the model number on my only-remaining-fitting-bra and found it on Amazon! In other words, she served me rather than her bottom line. After some very poor experiences elsewhere while shopping for a bra, I finally came across Allure while looking online. I posted on their Facebook page before I visited and then finally got to get to the store this weekend (without the kids underfoot!) The experience was lovely! They actually cared about the fit of the bra, made sure I was comfortable with the fitting and even had a robe to wear while waiting! I didn't feel rushed or pressured and I was able to complete my purchase within 15 minutes! I FINALLY found a bra that fits, thanks to the wonderful associates at Allure. This is a big deal. Over the years I've tried to find a bra that fits well, and I've bought such a wide range of sizes. But ultimately, these bras never truly fit. They poked me in the sides. They may have fit me around but then I'd overflow in other areas. Going a cup size up didn't really work. Fast forward to my experience at Allure, one of the sales associate gave me a fitting and nailed it on the first try. Apparently I'm a 36i. I didn't even know that size existed, lol. I've purchased two bras there and will be back. They're more expensive than my usual Kohls bras, but these are quality and they actually fit. Thanks Allure! read more

While the staff made it a comfortable fitting process, I'm disappointed in the comfort of the bras and the return policy. $300 later I have 3 uncomfortable bras and one returned for "store credit" at a store I never want to shop in again. The policy was alluded to but I interpreted it as try them on with the tags on and return with the tags on unless you are OK with store credit (i.e., keep the tags on for a full refund). I never imagined that I'd only get store credit for something I had literally only tried on again at home and decided against. Tags ON. Post-covid I hadn't been in a store for over a year and was desperate for some bras as I was going on an emergency trip. So I was a little discombobulated and didn't insist on better comfort b/c I didn't have time to go somewhere else. In hindsight I should have just left empty handed - every single one has comfort issue between the lace (which I asked to minimize) and the underwire digging in. I guess I'll try to find some PJs or something to use up the store credit. read more

I saw a couple of commercials on this store and thought I would try it out. I was IMPRESSED!! They knew exactly what I needed, and understood my fit troubles. This is worth the trip ladies!!!! I was tired of my straps falling down, and the back rising up after a few washes. I bought two bras the day of my fitting and threw away all my old ones. I will never go back to dept stores. NO REFUNDS! Make sure you know that upfront. I failed to notice that policy, and it came back to shoot me in the foot. I am hard to fit. After almost an hour of trying things on, I settled for a bra that wasn't perfect, but I thought I'd get used to it after wearing it for a while. After ONE DAY of wearing it, the skin under my arm was worn red and raw, so I went to return it for a refund. Too bad. No refunds - only store credit. So now I have an $85 store credit from a store that has NOTHING that fits me. Don't make the same mistake I did. Make sure you buy NOTHING from this store unless you are ABSOLUTELY SURE you won't have any reason to need to return it later. Because they JUST DON'T CARE once they have your money. read more

I received a gift card for Allure and thought I'd just pop in and pick up something quick. I decided to do a fitting but was nervous as I'd never done one before. It ended up being a great experience! I finally understand what type of bra fits me best, new styles (um hello comfy bralette!) and most importantly how to take good care of my new, fabulous undergarments. I had one bra that ended up being uncomfortable after a long day and (within the return time period) was able to take it back in, explain the discomfort I was having, and they helped me to find a different style and exchange. I'm a huge fan of Allure! I am not a standard shape (32 DDD) so I tend to have difficulty finding bras in my size. Allure not only has bras that fit me, they're also cute! I'm so happy that I'm not stuck wearing just black and beige like I would be if I shopped at a department store in my size. The employees are so friendly and helpful and make you feel really comfortable. I think the sales associates are really what sets this boutique apart. They do a perfect job of showing you lots of options and helping you find the right size. I actually look forward to bra shopping, which is something I thought I'd never say. I just bought a couple bras yesterday and there was a third that I liked but my size wasn't in stock. The employee went above and beyond to call the other locations to look for a couple size options in the design I liked at no cost. When they arrive to my location, I'll be able to go back and them on and see if it's a good fit. The bras in my size are a little more expensive ($60-$80 a piece), but they last forever if you take care of them. It's impossible to put a price on feeling confident and beautiful, so I definitely think the cost is worth it. I've had some of my bras from Allure for 3+ years and they still fit great. I found myself near Allure and begged the hubs to give me twenty minutes to replace it. The woman working there (sorry, didn't get her name, she had short auburn hair) was very helpful, listened to my needs and measured me for a correct fit. She brought several choices and helped me try them on until I found the one. This all happened quickly and without any pressure to make other purchases. Are you kidding???? I wanted to return a bra I had bought 15 days prior at allure. Bra fits nice, customer service was great however I was not comfortable with the $85 price tag . I pulled out receipt today because I was going to go there after work to return. I had not worn; hadn't even taken it out of the bag. Read return policy, in fine print on bottom: in store credit will be granted within 14 days of purchase. Today is day 15 and I don't want store credit. I have never seen a return policy like this. This isn't a return policy---- it is a buyer beware policy and I was never informed of policy when I was at register buying. I called store to confirm the policy. Very sad about policy and inability to get money back. I can see a "full money back refund within 14 days" policy but nothing like this. Ugh! read more

Being someone who has a hard time finding good bras I found a wonderful selection and the young lady who helped me and my sister was so amazing. I love that I was 42 gorgeous instead of a shocking reality of a size. Also. I was complaining that I couldn't buy a cute fancy lacy bra because of my size then the young lady that was helping us found me a beautiful sexy red and black lace bra as well as a beautiful sexy lingerie item!
