My friend and I got manicures here the other weekend. I had made appointments ahead of time, but showed up a little bit early. They had no problem accommodating us. Just had a horrible experience with the lady on the phone. I asked her if they had any package deals and she asked me what I meant. I thought packages that included multiple services is pretty self explanatory. Guess not. Finally she tells me there is a Mother's Day package and explains what it is. I immediately say: let's do that and a 1 hour Massage added on. She responses: what do you mean? I say: the Mother's Day package with the one hour massage. In a voice that is clearly agitated she says: but what do you mean? Are you scheduling? Do you want a gift certificate, I don't understand. Geez lady, can we take it step at a time instead of me knowing exactly what to say to you from the beginning? What a wonderful, quaint European day spa! I was so happy to discover this little gem! I went in for a 90 minute massage plus facial and brow tinting. Everyone was very informative, knowledgeable, and showed excellent customer service. The masseuse who worked on my back was amazing! I informed her that I thought I had a pinched nerve and she worked on that area with extra care. After my massage (still in my white, fuzzy, warm bathrobe), I went into another room where I had a dermaplaning treatment with mini facial and brow tinting. I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated... and my skin was glowing! Love this hidden gem! I'm hesitant to write a review in case too many people find out about it. They do fantastic manicures using my favorite nail polish line, Dazzle Dry. It's great because the ingredients are clean, no formaldehyde and the polish lasts like gel. Best part is I don't have to soak it off. The service is wonderful, the team very sweet. My daughter and I had our 1st spa day together at Allure this past weekend. From scheduling everything we wanted to do and the timing, communication etc-I couldn't have asked for anything better! My mani/pedi was done by Kristin and I have to say that she was very friendly and did a great job with my manicure. I just stare at my nails all day because of how perfect they came out. Probably one of the best I've had. Full body massage was done by Laura. She knows her stuff. She could tell right away how tight i was in certain places and made sure I was good to go when I was done. It was great! My facial which lasted over an hour (yay!) was done by Sotera-seriously the best facial I've ever received. She knew exactly what she was doing and really took care of what needed to be taken care of-most places won't do extractions like she does and it was well worth it! I also saw that she is a make up artist and one of her clients came out and she looked amazing. I booked her for this Saturday too! The ambiance was very calm and cozy. It seemed like they were always rushing, sometimes filed crooked, and stopped giving little lotion hand massages after painting the nails :( I decided to try Allure after reading several positive reviews, and boy I was not disappointed! My nails are perfectly filed, perfectly painted, and just beautiful! She took her time with each and every nail and really made me feel relaxed and like she was there for me and me only. They offer water or coffee to sip on which is also nice. I got 20% off for being a first time client and will get another $5 off if I bring a friend next time. Got a gift certificate to this spa from my girlfriend. Never been to one before so this was a new experience for me. Was a little nervous being a guy going to a spa but the staff was very welcoming and professional. I got a massage which was the best that I have ever had. A little bit of Europe in Willowbrook. Diava and her staff are really great. A great place for laser hair removal. It is Pain-Free (a nice surprise), fast, and affordable. Another Diava who works there is a fantastic masseuse. She is STRONG. I've recommended her to several people who like deep tissue massage. My 250 lb muscle man left the table with a very "worked over"look on his face. She's an anomaly. They have a great first time intro price and package deals for massage. read more
