I visited and after having a pleasant first experience, I received an offer to purchase a package. I did so. With one remaining, I received a message asking me to book the last one soon. Options were limited so I selected what was available. A day or so later, I had death in the family so I canceled. The appointment was canceled four days in advance. I received a reply asking me if a week later at the same time would work. I indicated it wouldn't and that I'd contact her at a later time to reschedule. Agnes replied with. "Make sure you schedule asap. I'll get busy during the holiday season and will not be accepting the package next year". When it was purchased, an expiration was not mentioned or provided at any time. Upon hearing this, I pointed out that no timeframe was given and it appeared to be offered as a way to retain new clients. I also explained that this arbitrary decision was self serving and sent at a very difficult time for me. I went to explain I was dealing with death in the family and asked Agnes to put me down for ANY time between Dec 26-31 and I'd be there. Or, given the exchange. I offered to have her refund me via the method used (Zelle). To be clear, Agnes did NOT schedule me as requested and she did NOT return the money. In response to the comment below:: I told her I couldn't talk much more due to grief and she continued to send long paragraphs as if it was a lovers quarrel. I reminded her of her repeated pleas for "good" reviews and stated that this misleading and self serving practice is something others should be aware of. It's how others make informed decisions. Worst f******g massage of my life…read more Me and my fiancé just came out of a couples massage and we told them to use as much pressure as they had to get the knots out of our inner traps and upper lats as we both work out and are super tight. That's it. Instead they just rubbed our backs almost like they were embracing us and didn't use any pressure at all. Tony the therapist that did my massage spent the majority just pulling my legs and my arms and doing assisted stretches... I work in the fitness industry and help people do assisted stretches and and that was done poorly as well and the stretches didn't even make scientific sense with my joints which are bothering me now. So long story short. I was so sore and excited walking in but extremely polite and clear with what me and my fiancé were expecting and through the massage reminded both masseuses what we needed, which was more pressure and instead of listening they would move to a different body part. So weird. Then Tony asked how I was feeling and I said my lats and traps are still really knotted and hurt asked if he could help and instead he started doing assisted rotator cuff stretches? THEN the worst part is that he said sorry he was incapable of giving me a good massage because it was a couples massage and that I would have to rebook with him to go more in depth.... What a scammer it was super obvious that he was trying to not fully solve my problem to try and get me to come back for an another session so he makes more money.
