One girl, was putting the garnishes on the subs then taking her gloves off so she could ring up the next customer., while the other was getting the bread prepped and meat and cheeses on. The Manger looked at them, in front of everyone and said "you guys need to hurry up!" When did managers become so important they can't assist during busy times? Wouldn't it have been more respectful to jump in and ring the customers up yourself, instead of the one girl putting on and taking off her gloves over and over? I felt so bad for them. Wonder if this is how they are treated all the time. Anyhow, that manager looked like a jerk. Not someone I would want to work for. This was obviously the lunch rush and that became very apparent. It took almost an hour for our food to come out and that really fucked us with the timing of our day. When the food did come, it was delicious. My grilled cheese was served on two thiccc slices of bread with melty american cheese. I would have preferred if the bread was toasted even a little bit. The sandwich was served with ridged chips. Regarding the fried steak sandwich, GF reports "it was heavy but tasty, not what I usually eat". She received tots on the side which were the crispiest tots I have ever had. I don't have words for the fried biscuit. It was out of this world. I can't do it justice by describing it.
