Tess specifically stood out with her friendly, helpful demeanor, which made a rough stretch of travel much more pleasant. If you're on the road and need a reliable pit stop, this Allsup's is worth it.

Less a dog park and more a tiny relief area. Too bad considering all the space around the gas station itself. There are other Love's with sizeable enclosures turfed in real grass.

I recently heard they are adding several more locations along I-40, which makes sense because people clearly cannot get enough of this place. Fuel was cheaper than anticipated: Regular unleaded = $2.70 Unleaded plus = $3.10 Premium unleaded = $3.40 Diesel = $4.27 I'd stop here again. It was pouring down rain just before Amarillo and sprinkling in this area. Was nice to have the extra tall overhead roof to help block the elements while I checked my vehicle during its gas-gulpling session. Well-lit at night.
