Artificial intelligence is not helping improve this place. Previously, humans listening to your…read moreorder in the drive thru would get it right like nine times out of ten, but on a recent visit, a software-based ordering system got all kinds of details wrong. I'm willing to give this franchise the benefit of the doubt: that they had no say in the matter of this being pushed by some corporate overlord stooges trying to make more money off hot dogs, but the implementation is bad. Give the job back to a human.

The lady gave me attitude and brought back a sauce cup of tomatoes which is about 1 tacos worth, So I asked for more saying that and that I had two three taco combos without, which was begrudgingly gotten at the slowest speed possible. Either they're okay with ripping you off or making your orders wrong. Neither is okay when there is an upcharge involved. Not to mention I waited a good amount of time for cold food (not a tomato joke)

1 Star - Absolute mess of a Taco Bell…read more This is hands down the worst Taco Bell experience I've ever had. Service was terrible from start to finish. I was told I could only have ONE sauce per item... at Taco Bell. That alone is ridiculous. To make it worse, I ordered a Cheesy Gordita Crunch and was handed the taco and the flatbread separately, like it was a DIY kit. I didn't order ingredients. I ordered a menu item that's literally supposed to be assembled. If this is how food is being served, someone clearly doesn't know what they're doing. The food was sloppy, poorly put together, and clearly rushed with zero attention to quality. I've attached a photo because it speaks for itself. If this is a brand new location, it desperately needs better training and management. Until then, I'd recommend going literally anywhere else if you want your order made correctly and without attitude.

Ordered three burgers but they didn't fix the price even after they worked trying to fix it to the price listed for several minutes. They said when I checked out, "well thanks for bringing this to our attention." But I didn't get the advertised price. Makes no sense. Ugh. Annoying.

This place is really something different! Sitting in the middle of the small town of Portales, NM,…read moreyou would not expect them to have the diverse menu that they have. I tried several dishes including the Super Bowl, which has rice, vegetables, Teriyaki beef, schrimp and chicken. They are famous for the baked potatoes. Most of the waitresses are in their early 20's, probably from nearby college, WT. All of them were nice and polite, which give the hometown feel to your meal. The ingredients were fresh and the service through the drive through was fast and friendly. Inside there is a very cool memorabilia display that gives an old town vibe while set within a clean and comfortable dining area. Also, one of the BEST home made ranch dips I've ever tasted!!! Will be a frequent regular at this place!! Only downside is that they do not have French fries. They have tater tots that incorrectly label as fries for some reason which is very confusing and those were just ok. If this place could add a solid steak fry to their menu it would put it in the 5 star+ category for sure! If they do I will revise my review Not a deal breaker though and still one of the best fast food options in town!
