Shoutout to Vulcan Towing & Recovery - Anchorage, Alaska…read more On August 11, 2025 I set out to haul away a very old sailboat with a cracked hull and what I soon found out had a rotten trailer tire to the Anchorage Regional Landfill. The plan went sideways fast when one of the trailer tires blew out, the rim hit the road, and I had to limp into the Carr's Quality Center Aurora Village parking lot. A couple of towing companies told me flat-out, "No way, we're not set up to handle a boat." Then I called @Vulcan Towing & Recovery. Without hesitation, they said: "No problem, we'll be right there." Sure enough, they arrived quickly, and within 10 minutes had the boat safely loaded up and on its way to its final resting place. I'm grateful for their professionalism, quick response, great attitude, and willingness to go the extra mile--literally--to help me get the job done. The trailer came back with new damage on the interior panels -- screws and staple marks that weren't there before. No acknowledgment, no accountability. Months of emails followed. The owner, Vik, eventually responded in writing that everything is the manufacturer's responsibility and directed me to Keystone. Keystone then confirmed they have zero warranty claim history for my unit -- meaning the repairs performed here were apparently never filed with the manufacturer at all. I gave this dealership every opportunity to make this right. What I got was delay, deflection, and silence. If you're buying here, just know: the experience ends the moment you drive off the lot.
