I had contracted Wrightway to ship a vehicle from Tacoma to Anchorage. This reservation was last minute and very reasonable in price. I was able to book and deliver the vehicle same day at the port of Tacoma. The shipping time was 3 days. Upon delivery, the team in Anchorage went above and beyond to get me my vehicle. Besides it being a chilly November morning, the car was handled with care. Not a scratch on it. 10/10 would recommend them for any of your auto shipping needs. read more

We drove up from San Diego to Tacoma and had our cars shipped to Anchorage. We saved about 600 dollars compared to the other carriers and they only needed a few days notice. Staff was awesome. We received our 17 Jetta and brand new 22 BMW in perfect condition. Would recommend read more

Have used them a few times for shipping vehicles between Anchorage and Tacoma. They are always friendly and patient when dealing with someone like myself who always ends calling multiple times. I believe the lady's name was Daniella who had to deal with me the last time where I called at least 6 times. She was great and never sounded put out from my repeated calls. read more

I shipped my 99 Dodge Viper GTS from Wa with Wrightway. Everything went off perfect and my "wife approved girlfriend" arrived in perfect shape, something I was very worried about since this car can be easily damaged because the ground clearance is soooo low. We used this company and once we picked it up at our destination we noticed windshield damage. We informed the company, had us gill out forms and also had us get estimates for repairs. After getting estimates and submitting the claim, it was rejected by the company. The claimed the damage was already there when we checked the vehicle in which was false. This company said the windshield already had a damage that caused it to spider out. We sent them a photo of the windshield and it shows two the rock chip that we noted during check in and new damage that caused a crack near the frame of the windshield that was not there before. We had calls and emails back and forth but no movement from them. Really poor customer service and no accountability on damages. This company is tight on their money and will not help out a first time customer. We still would like for them to contact us to get this resolved. If they do I will remove this review. With my recent experience with this company, I really don't think they will and with that we do not recommend this company. read more

Customer service was outstanding! I called at least 3 times and every time was just as good as the time before. I called multiple other companies asking for a rough estimate for a 1 ton pickup truck and this place is the only one that would give me a quote without having all the specs. One of the other places hung up on me before I was even done talking! Needless to say we are going with this company based on customer service alone! read more

Don't do business here. Ever. I shipped my car from Anchorage to have delivered at Seatac airport. When I received my vehicle, there was $800 worth of damage when someone ran it up against a pole. Wrightway has done nothing but deflect. After actively ignoring many attempts to reach out with them, they only responded after filing a credit card dispute. Wrightway auto gave me excuses about how there were multiple companies involved between the end-to-end delivery, and the damage could have happened with any one of them. I wish the owner William Wrightway did the "right" thing and took responsibility for their end-to-end processes and advocated for their customers. Instead, Bill prefers to pass the buck and not take ownership of the damage incurred during his service. read more

This is the least favorable experience I have ever had. First and foremost, I called and explicitly asked if they accepted American Express and they told me, yes. When I arrived then didn't accept it... after a long discussion they finally did. They offered me an AMAZING price in which I was in disbelief. They told me they would send me an e-mail with the drop off location and my quote that same day. I never got an e-mail. I called the day before the drop off day and asked about the e-mail and the location. They then said they couldn't find my reservation. This is when they disclosed they would charge $85 per 100 lbs of storage packed in the car, after I asked about it... if I wouldn't have asked they wouldn't have mentioned. The Tacoma location mentioned they never mention this piece of information to the customers and they are often blindsided about the price. Also, they don't prorate the weight, if your possessions are over 100 lbs, they charge as another 100lb unit.... the "amazing price" made sense now. Other companies charge a little more but do not charge for possessions being in your car. It evens out. I recommend the other companies. I was told my car would arrive on Tuesday, maybe Wednesday. Wednesday came around and it still wasn't here... I called Thursday morning and they said maybe late afternoon. This would be okay if I wasn't in Anchorage waiting around for the sole purpose of picking up my car to drive back to Fairbanks! Waiting for this company (who gave zero updates along the way) was the most frustrating thing ever and put a damper on my plans to head back to Fairbanks on time. read more

I have, over the years shipped 12 cars via Wrightway, including 6 collector cars from 20 to 80 years old. My only problem ever was hood damage to my 1940 Pontiac, that had failed brakes and overran the stops. My fault, not theirs. You can pay more to ship to and from Alaska, but you cannot do better than dealing with Wrightway. Or you can drive the highway and accept the costs and road damages. read more

I car was on time and had no damages in it. I was surprised that it was as clean as I shipped it when I received it 3.5 weeks later.

Truthfully I'm very impressed with their service. I was told at the front desk it would take two maybe four weeks for my truck to be here in anchorage from Texas,and it got here in about 12 days. From 8/05-8/16 actually 11 days. I was wishing for the truck to be here before school starts and it's here, how delightful this surprise is. So I would not say not thinking twice about their service because of reviews I read about them, Everyone is different and goes through different circumstances,some up and down. You could never know without a gamble and I feel like a winner. read more

Apparently there was an issue between the ocean carrier and Wrightway, resulting in delays in my taking possession of the vehicle. Even though it was not Wrightway's fault, they fixed the problem to ensure I got the car as soon as possible. I could tell the Wrightway staff was truly disappointed about the inconvenience to me, again, not their fault; so they took additional steps to make sure I was ultimately and completely satisfied. The staff was courteous, enthusiastically cooperative, and personable. Their lot was professionally maintained, fully secure, and the office/lot was centrally located...easy to find. I would not hesitate to work with Wrightway again for shipping a vehicle! read more

This company was about $500 cheaper than the other bids I had for transportation of my Toyota Tundra from Arizona to Anchorage. In hindsight I would've paid that and more not to deal with their crappy customer service. They never confirmed pickup of my vehicle from the dealer. They never called to say they were going to be (four days) late. When I explained to the booking agent that for $2800 I was expecting them to at least let me know the pickup time details, I got no response. This company has been serving Anchorage for thirty years, but whoever is in charge is obviously asleep at the switch. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle the battery was dead because the the dome light had been switched on and there was a scratch in the bumper. I asked to see the Bill of Lading to confirm that scratches on the front bumper were there at time of transport and was told I could not see their paperwork, and would have to call the Arizona transporter (whom they had subcontracted for the move, apparently) in order to do that.
