If you would like to be valued as a customer and expect your claim to be handled fairly and correctly dont do business with AllState. Their recommended collision shop Collision and Calibration in Florissant reattached broken parts reattached new bumper crocked as well as causing additional damages after a 3 month delay in doing the repairs. AllState stood by this poor work and blamed their customer/insured when poorly attached work started to fall apart. No guarantee on the work. AllState shouldn't be business. We had a hailstorm and Allsate came out and the guy told us we had hail damage but he was not supposed to tell us. We called a roofing contractor and they agreed we had hail damage. Allstate sent me a letter rather quickly denying my claim and telling me my claim was closed. I asked to speak with his manager and From the get go it ended up being a wild goose chase. They told me they did not have the 2 estimates my roofers sent them. They said they did not receive the photos of the roof please send more. They then told me the pic were blurry. I called another Allstste number and asked if she would look at the pics and tell me if they were clear and she said yes they were clear.I also called that number because these different adjusters told me they did not have any estimates from my roofers. I asked if they could look for the estimates and she found both and I asked if she would send them to the adustor she said she would. Talked to the adjuster the next day she said she did not have estimates . I called the other number and they put me intouch with manager and he said he had them. Its a shame the lowest review I can give is 1 star when this company doesn't deserve even that. I was in a car accident in the middle of June 2022, and for the first 3 weeks, All State had my car sitting in a tow yard accruing storage fees. The representative that was assigned to me, Santiago Castro, flat out ghosted me for a week with no communication, didn't respond to my phone calls, my emails, nothing. I got his supervisor involved, James Shearl, and he has only contacted me twice by email. Once to say after 2 and half weeks that my car had been moved to a free storage facility, and that an appraiser would contact me after looking at my car. Everyone with insurance, especially full coverage, top dollar, everything coverage, would hope that their money is going towards speedy resolution. It hasn't in my case. All State is now screening my calls and will not respond to me on Any platform. My car isn't drivable, I'm a 100% disabled veteran who has appointments I have missed because of All States inability to do their job. I hope that with this review, someone higher up sees it and it lights a fire under their ass to get going with my claim. I can't believe I pay $162 a month to these clowns! For Anyone who works at All State that has any kind of authority, please address my claim. I've had a body shop ready and waiting to take my car in if it can be fixed, and I have someone to buy a new car from if it cannot be. SO DISAPPOINTED & UPSET - After 40 + years of being insured with Allstate they are cancelling our homeowner's insurance because we are allegedly in a high fire zone. We have never filed a fire claim. As far as we can tell the entire state of California is a high fire risk zone. Are they pulling their business out of California? They had no problem taking our premiums all these years for the various policies we have with Allstate, multiple properties, our business, our 6 vehicles & umbrella policies. You had TWO insurance adjusters come to our house with the same results: A busted pipe inside of our wall that is causing damage/mold. Why do we have to wait until Monday for a decision? if I could give zero stars I would, but 1 is the lowest. after switching to a new company when I bought my home allstate canceled my policy as per request. the company did not notify of any payment required on phone, email, or the app. months later I am still trying to dispute a collections claim that is now on my credit report. I have contacted with no reply from all state. this company's practices are terrible and customer service is no help at all. So, my Uncle passed away and in his folder is an Allstate life policy booklet dated 1976 with an amended policy (same number with a -1 after it) dated 1995. 1995 has my name as a beneficiary after his mother passed away. Four dopes on the phone who hate their job have no information about it and no clue of what to do; and this is with his policy number, his name, his Social Sec. number. The fifth dope I called two weeks later gave me a fax number to fax the policy information, some sort of "research department". Two weeks later only crickets. Not even a followup that we are looking into it. I wonder how many policies of Allstate are conveniently lost or are unavailable to view? Someone is lining their pockets by not paying. read more

Horrible customer service for my auto policy. I have been charged for two months for a policy I asked to be canceled several times. I never received any paperwork, policy number or ability to login to app to get id cards. Everytime I call, I'm hung up on, transferred to wrong departments or told to call North America Allstate. Called the local agent office and they couldn't find a policy in my name either. have had the roadside assistance for four months and tried to use it for the first time when the service provider called me saying that they couldn't come out till Allstate paid then. After several calls and multiple people, got that straightened out only for the service provider to confirm details of tow and say he can't come because the order was for a flat repair and not a tow. spent four hours and thirty six minutes on the phone to receive refusals to talk to me from team leads and long holds. The woman that took my call tried to help and after an extended call figured out where I was. Then it it went bad, received several text messages saying they were looking for a provider. One only gets insurance just in case you need it. I need my insurance now and am not getting good service. I had my car broke into on Wednesday morning and promptly filed a claim submitting photos through quickfoto claim. They state that they usually give you an estimate by the end of the same business day. As of Friday morning I had not gotten an estimate and contacted them to find out what is going on. They stated it had been reassigned as the adjuster was managing a number of claims yet they could not and are not expediting it with the new adjuster. They said they would try to have it by the end of business or by Monday at least. Monday is Veterans Day. I highly doubt with how all American it is in Texas that they are going to work on this claim on Monday. It's Saturday and they didn't complete the estimate which now means that I won't get an estimate until Tuesday at the soonest nearly a week after the incident. This process has added insult to injury. It's a violation having someone break into your car they have not been diligent in making it right by quickly processing my claim. Insurance is for when you need it they have shown that you don't really get that you promise of what you have paid for with them. I don't know what I've been paying them for. I am just disgusted once again (we had a bad experience with Allstate years ago, and we have never used them since) at this company's immoral actions. My parents have been loyal Allstate customers their entire married life. My poor father died about 4 years ago, leaving my mom to have to take over all personal business at 83 years old. We thought we could count on their loyalty to this company being repaid in kind. How wrong we were. Because there was a freak fire in the Phelan area, my mother's policy was canceled, and it became very difficult to procure new coverage. My parents, in all of these years having their autos and homes insured with Allstate, have never had any kind of major claim. When my mom needed to be in "good hands," this is how she is rewarded. Good hands my foot! Allstate has been acting in bad faith for years, and getting away with it. And just as an aside, the fire did not ever endanger her home. Never get Allstate insurance. You are not in good hands. I paid Allstate for 8 years over 1200 dollars per year. I had auto and homeowners insurance, with no claims that was my fault. We had really bad storm in the Midwest a couple of weeks ago and my roof started leaking. It had never leaked before. I filed a claim and it was partially approved. They didn't pay for the roof, but they paid for the water stains on the ceiling. I advised them that the water stains came from the roof leak. They advised me that the roof was installed incorrectly, so they are not paying for it. I paid them 8 years for a roof they were never going to cover. I ask why they didn't tell me that 8 years ago. I paid them over 13,000 over the course of 8 years. The adjusters were very rude and the hold time is extremely long. Allstate Is a fair weather friend . My auto was involved in an accident on April 7, 2023. The other party was at fault. After having the auto towed to a collision shop, I contacted Allstate to report the accident. The person answering the call could not speak English very well, and this made the call even more difficult. They asked me what was damaged, and after telling him what areas of the car were affected, he stated "your car is probably totaled." My response was that this is not up to you to decide until you have either seen the vehicle, or done an estimate. PLUS, it will be up to the other parties' insurance to pay for the accident. From that point on until the present time (5/26/2023), Allstate has harassed me with phone calls TELLING me that I had to release the car, and have it towed to a destination where they could total it out. I refused at first, then I just ignored their future attempts to total my car. They harassed the body shop to release the car, but were told by the owner that they would not release it unless the owner said so. I basically told them to shove it up their ass... Dairyland Insurance was the carrier for the at fault party involved; once I contacted them, their claims department settled the problem by agreeing to repair my car. They knew this would be cheaper than going to court over rental reimbursement, storage fees, and the actual value of the car. Allstate actually sent me a form letter telling me that they were glad that THEY could solve my problem, and thanked me for my patience and cooperation. I returned the letter with the response basically telling them that they had lost all of my future business with them, and they could shove it up their ass! I will never do business with Allstate again. The only thing in their 'good hands' was an overseas call center, with a bunch of idiots who tried to coerce me into something that I did not want. Allstate is unethical and arbitrary in its settlement of Claims. A person insured by Allstate backed into my car on Dec 16, 2019. Allstate Insurance is liable for all ordinary and necessary expenses to get the car repaired. Allstate assigned claim # 000572092914B02 and came to my house, took photos of the car, and provided an estimate of $487.06, which is inaccurate. I obtained 5 estimates. All but one were considerably higher than Allstate's estimate. I incurred 38 Miles at $.575 (source IRS) or $21.85 to obtain the estimates. I kept a complete record of the mileage and destinations. Allstate used my estimates to increase the amount of the estimate and the damages allowed, but refuses to pay the mileage. Allstate is responsible for all ordinary and necessary expenses of getting the car repaired. Had I not have gotten additional estimates, Allstate would not have had the data necessary to compute the correct amount of the repairs. Therefore the mileage to obtain the estimates is an ordinary and necessary part of the costs of repair. The car has been repaired, but despite several requests, Allstate refuses to pay the amount for the mileage incurred, $21.85. They state the reason is that it is not in accordance with their rules. Any auto insurance policy by nature covers all ordinary and necessary costs to repair the auto. They owe me $21.85. read more

Absolutely. Awful. People are unhelpful. The phone "disconnects" constantly. No one will call you back so you have to wait on hold again until someone else answers. The hold times when calling are ridiculous, forty five minuets wait almost every time you call. Never had a wait time less then thirty minuets. I was rear ended by an AllState driver and they are not paying for a rental car for me. Not only that but because of COVID-19 they will not send anyone out to look at my cars damage. They had me send in pictures of the damage and gave an estimate of what it would cost to fix my car. The estimate is two-thousand dollars less than what it cost to fix my car and they are telling me I have to pay the rest when the accident was 0% my fault I was stopped at a light and rear ended. I called the agent, Chris Okeleye, attempting to explain the situation, but he refused to listen to me and started screaming at me almost immediately. I had the most horrible experience with ALLSTATE...very much NOT EXPECTED when motto is You're In Good Hands. Let me clarify. My experience was with the agent Marva Jean Baptiste and assistant Asia Powell of the Lawrenceville Ga office. After searching for new insurance after lapse in coverage I reached out. Mrs Asia quickly assisted with discounts like autopay, drivesafe, and bundling. She recommended I complete a new Bill of Sale with her to dismiss the lapse of coverage to obtain best quote. She quoted me 196 for deposit and mthly pay for auto and renters coverage policies. She emailed and advised me to complete new BOS with new date and my policy and quote would be done. Of course I accepted and the emailed policies, Insurance info and took my money. When I noticed the AP was set to take out an additional 100+ more than quotes. I was furious, I called agent Mes. Baptiste for answers. She had absolutely NONE for me, I asked was she my agent and why she couldn't help me, she stated that my policy writer, Ms Powell could better assist, she new nothing and could only transfer me. When connected with Ms Powell, she couldn't help as well, after about 3 phone calls, she started texting and blamed the underwriting team. I asked why she had me do a BOS if it wouldn't help, she stated the underwriting team has the final word, and although they accepted her BOS, they still saw the lapse of coverage, which made the payments go up, all she can do now is see how she can further discount it. She then texted that she can only get it down by 15bucks, which was still 85 more than originally quoted. I felt that the quote, service, advice, and recommendations were ALL UNPROFESSIONAL, not proving to be in good hands. She then text that all she can do was have her manager give me a call, when I asked for cancellation and refund. Now, my agent Mrs. Marva Jean Baptiste wants to talk and chime in, after she told me there was nothing she can do to help. I told.her if she couldn't help then, there's no need to now. I didn't want to hear anymore lies, excuses, or explanations about how they misguided me, lied, and planned to steal my.money and overdraw my account, being dishonest about their quote. She got more upset and more attitude with me because I didn't want to listen anymore. I asked for her superior, which she denied access. I repeatedly asked for cancellation and how long it would take for refund. She wouldn't answer me, only wanted me to NOW hear what she had to say. I asked would I need to call the corporate office for ALLSTATE, she replied, Please Do. I disconnected and called corporate office of ALLSTATE, where I got professional customer service by a Mrs.Elisia, who listened to my concerns, apologized on the company's behalf, and helped me with my cancellation, full refund, and a survey for my experience. Which I gladly filled out, because as a member of society, I want my community to know about these companies don't deserve our hard earned money, keeping them rich, by just giving us our behinds to kiss. So many bad stories about Allstate. Seems like they only want your money and when it comes down to getting your claim for an accident that wasn't your fault. You have to hop through obstacle courses just to get it. The agents seem lazy where they would transfer your calls all the time. Because they don't want to deal with you. I had a run-in with a car insurance agent. I went online and search for a quote for a new car that I've got. After getting multiple calls from different agents from different companies. After finding the right price. I signed the deal with one. Afterward, I was still getting calls from different insurance companies. I politely stated that I have currently found one already. They in turn said that they will take my number off their call list. Now about Allstate. I was driving and got a call from one of their agents. I answered it through my car's Bluetooth. I politely told them the same thing. This guy actually said " Whatever and hangs up." Well, Good thing I didn't go with them. BTW I had them before and they put me through hell. Long story short...Had a tree uproot and fall through house back in May when a Tornado hit my town, went through one room, through hallway and into the master bedroom, ripping electrical down, pushing ceiling through in all three rooms including cracking ceiling in hall and master bathroom and flooding garage ruining workbench and all insulation. Allstate sent out a mitigation company to remove damaged/ wet sections of house THEN ALMOST 3 WEEKS LATER....All-states adjuster Nathan Clark finally came out to inspect- spent maybe 20 minutes looking at damages. Claimed to have only seen damage in one room, and also that the main electrical supply line that was pulled down by tree is only 110V and that my house does not have 220(every house has 220 at washer/dryer), as well as he mis-measured back side of house... the adjuster on the phone side of things Rasha Maxwell agreed with his findings, and would not send a second adjuster when recommended 3 months ago shortly after initial approval for NEARLY 40K LESS THAN QUOTED to bring back to pre-loss condition(yet they paid the tree guy 17k without batting an eyelash, but wont budge on dwelling repair...?) Now here we are in October, a New adjuster has been assigned for reasons unknown to me and he has agreed to send another field adjuster out to re-assess the damages now that the roofing and structural repairs have been made and siding is back on the house(which they only approved portions of...). Bottom line is they are going to Nickle and Dime you every chance they get, and they are not out to help their customers. only to save money On a positive note- Joe Adacchio my agent has been very supportive in trying to get this all resolved, but not having any luck working with their joke of a Claims Adjudication Team read more

I would give Alstate zero stars if I could.  I have had Alstate Insurance since 2008.  Home and Auto.  Several years ago a storm damaged my roof and water leaked in and damaged the ceiling.  Alstate Claims Adjuster stated there was nothing wrong with my roof.  Had to pay out of pocket.  In 2022 an ice storm damaged my roof.  I did some research and found out Alstate pays Hancock as a thrid party to do inspections to deny claims.  Hancock has less than a 2 star rating with BBB.  I requested an alternative to Hancock and was denied.  Hancock stated there was no damage to my roof and my claim was denied.  I would advise you to find a better insurance company if there is such a thing.  You are NOT in good hands with Alstate. read more

We just found out; and it took us weeks of trying to reach anyone to find this out, but our business policy never covered ANYTHING for the past 20+ years! After we finally reached someone to look at it, who had to reach someone, who had to reach someone else. THEY WROTE THE POLICY WRONG AGAIN!!! We canceled and got a different companies help because we couldn't reach anyone about the new policy being wrong too. Wrong addresses listed again. Though we went over and over it, sure it would be right this time..... wrong again! THOUSANDS of dollars spent and never a days coverage. I'm shocked they didn't even have the DECENCY to write the new policy with the correct business address or give us a number to reach someone and WILL NOT call you back. Have Been a longtime home insurance holder and added auto, But will be switching to someone else, due to very poor customer service .
