We contacted Allstar on a Monday after our A/C was going out the day prior. Their response was amazing. They sent someone out the same day and tried to do the repair, which was so great. Unfortunately, our A/C was shot. However, they quickly ordered our new HVAC system and were able to come out today (Thursday) to install. Within 4 days, we are back up and running. Their team was so communicative and respectful while at our home. Colten was so quick to answer our emails and kept us informed about the status. Jesus came through first day and was so motivated to try and solve our issue but our system was 34 years old and it was time to replace. We will definitely be using Allstar again. Cannot recommend them enough! read more

We have had Allstar come out to our house 2x now. The first time they came out was to service the heater unit in our attic. They found an exhaust leak and repaired it! We had no idea we had a leak and they literally saved our lives! The second time was to move a HVAC vent in our living room. Both times they did an amazing job and were extremely professional! I highly recommend them for any HVAC needs! read more

AllStar has serviced multiple heating and air units at our offices for many years and we continue to rely on them as the go-to for regular maintenance, repairs and, just recently, a newly installed unit to replace a very old unit that had just run its course. Allstar's service and installation teams were courteous, friendly, and clean on their visits to our home. The furnace suddenly stopped working right before the night time temperatures were to drop down to the lower 30's. Allstar assessed the issue, loaned us space heaters, and ordered and installed a new furnace all in a span of 3 days. Everything worked out as good as it could get! read more

I had an error appear on my Heating/AC thermostat after I experienced a power outage at my home. I contacted Allstar and the receptionist quickly scheduled a technician to come to home to troubleshoot it. Darin, arrived and quickly understood the problem. He told me the power outage had affected the thermostat and the AC, but not the heating system. Darin reset both systems by powering them off and back on and the error message cleared and both systems were functional again. Thanks very much to Darin for his friendly and fast service and to Colton for not charging for the service call. Allstar installed my Heating/AC systems a few years ago and did a great job. I highly recommend them for new equipment installs and service. read more

Impeccable service, professional, and trustworthy Our AC thermostat broke down at the beginning of summer. We have a baby and had to sleep a few nights in a very hot house. We called a few A/C companies in the area and All Star Heating and A/C was the ONLY one able to come out on the same day and replace our thermostat! They are so genuine and explained thoroughly whats happening to our A/C and advised us on how to proceed. They worked quickly and accommodated our baby which was sleeping. I've worked with Harry and his uber-qualified team of HVAC technicians and have never been disappointed with their work. Yes, their work is top quality, professional and even creative, given the confined and limited spaces they often are forced to work in. But the highest compliment I could offer is that they are men and women of integrity. They tell you what they'll do, they do it and then show you what they did, all at the agreed-upon price. I could continue, but don't want to over-sell it. You and your project would be best served by hiring them. read more

They never returned calls and gave an outrageous estimate after I showed them and was clear with what I wanted. I just needed a wall air conditioner replaced at my mother's house and the units run about $500 at Home Depot and they emailed me a ridiculous estimate of $17K and when I called the person who answered the phone she said she would talk to Colton (I believe he's the owner) and get back to me but I never heard back from anyone (guess the job was too small, they could have said that). Colton also stated he could put in an air conditioner where my furnace is for about $5K at my house and I was very interested in doing this early next year however, they give terrible customer service, don't listen to anything you say and were so flaky I will go somewhere else when I'm ready! And I also found someone else to install the wall air conditioner for a more reasonable price. Ugh they have the worst customer service I've ever experienced! If I could put zero star that's what they deserved read more

Kris came out today and fixed my heater quickly. He was on time , clean and friendly. It was obvious he cares and knows what he's doing because he pointed out another problem and tried to fix it today to save us money with future repairs. He explained everything clearly just so i knew what was happening. I was happy he was willing to take a little extra time to get the job done right. All Star is definitely my go to company if I need any more repairs. read more

We recently decided to get AC installed. We looked around and got a few quotes but Colton and Allstar were the standout winners in our book. They we very professional, answered all our questions quickly/well, and we could always get someone on the phone if needed. Love that last one. The day of the install made us happy we chose Allstar: the team showed up, knew exactly what had to be done, and proceeded to do a great job. They organized the electrician as well and that part went exactly as we had discussed. All around: very professional. If you are looking to install AC as insurance against future heat waves and want high quality hardware and installation for a very reasonable price: Colton and Allstar are the way to go! Thanks again Colton! -FP read more

We had Allstar replace our furnace, and install central AC, along with a new thermostat. We found it a very positive experience. They were prompt and responsive, competitively priced, and thoroughly professional. They showed up when they said that they would, worked competently and efficiently, and left the job site spotless. The new system works flawlessly, at least so far. When i had a question, the owner returned my call almost immediately. It was a big job, but I don't think it could have been handled any better or more professionally. read more

Excellent service in every way. First of all, Jennifer was very clear about costs on the phone call when we scheduled the service. I noticed my heater was not working properly. I called Allstar Heating and they sent someone over the following day. I explained to Kris what my heater was doing and what I wanted him to check on. He listened to me and got right to work. He checked on everything I asked and solved my problems. He even cleaned the areas that needed it. He explained everything to me that I had a question on. It was a very pleasant experience working with Kris and Allstar Heating. I will definitely keep them on the top of my preferred list. read more

We arrived in solvang and found our heater wasn't working in our mobile home. I called our usual heating repair and was told they were scheduling months out. I asked my friend for a reference and she recommended Allstar heating. I called and they said that they would try to squeeze me in that same day but it would probably be the next. That was fine. About ten minutes later I got a call saying they had an opening and could they come. Of course I said yes. Jesus found the problem and had the part we needed in his truck. He fixed it and changed the filter. I would use them in a heart beat. Not just because they had an opening which was serendipitous but because they called and were aware of our problem. They would have been great the next day. read more

We bought a furnace 3 years ago to replace our 50 year old furnace, the thermostat failed and rendered it useless. We called Allstar and they new right away who we were and the warranty that covered it. The two young men who came out were courteous and knowledgeable. They were able to replace it that day. Beware of predatory pricing1 After replacing a bad start capacitor on my fan motor, they charged me $240 ($120 for the capacitor). I questioned the price of the capacitor, and was told they normally only charge $80 when they do other work. I just looked up the cost of the capacitor ... $6. 20X markup is not normal. read more

Met with the owners son in law. Being a owner/contractor they treated me fairly and upgraded and updated a 30+ year old HVAC system. Fair price and all their workers cleaned up after themselves and very professional and took extra care to install a new more efficient upgraded system properly. Got all the permits taken care of. It's been a few years and so far so good. Electric bills for a home built back in the 80's with poor insulation is using less kilowatts now. read more

All star came and installed central air in my house, they had to move things around in attic to make it all come together. They were very professional and clean work site. I was very impressed with their work and have fast it came together. As I said no mess they cleaned up as they worked which was a big thing with me, I've got hardwood floors and their beautiful brilzillion hard wood floors so per my request that they be careful with them. NO scratches cause they had to cut a hole into ceiling for outtake or intake. They put down drop clothes and kept them protected. My central air works like a champ and it's nice being cool now on those central coast late hot summers. This is the central coast but each year it gets hotter here. I'm 4 miles from the ocean and we had 105 & 102 days and weeks of 90's. Why these homes didn't put central air in is beyond me. And they are ( ALL STAR ) IS BACKED BY COSTCO. That's says alot about ALL STAR to me. THANK YOU ALL STAR. I would recommend you guys to all my friends and anyone I talk to if asked, I'm very happy with my deluxe system & can't wait to get my 1800.00 plus cash card kick back to spend at Costco. So that's all that kick back you get for installing the unit. You stay cool each summer in those hot central coast summers, there going to get worse. read more

FIVE STAR SERVICE ALL THE WAY! Allstar installed a 4-ton Lennox air conditioner at my home. Bob Lord, our very knowledgeable sales rep, came out September 7th, 2017 and did a great job of explaining the systems suitable to our home and the pricing. The installers, Jesus and Guillermo, arrived September 12th. THAT'S FAST SERVICE! They arrived at 9:30am and left at 3:30pm. THAT'S A FAST INSTALLATION! They're both great guys with great personalities. They both really know their stuff and did a clean neat beautiful installation. And the air conditioner works perfectly. I'M SO HAPPY! I just had my A/C and heat replaced. Prior to deciding which company to use I elected to obtain 4 bids. One of those 4 was Costco associated Allstar. Their bid was 40% higher than the other bids that I received. I chose a different company. read more

We had them put in a new air conditioning/Furnace. They did a great job! They guys were all very professional and worked together well. The only regret I have is I just found out if you go to Costco you get the same product less price and you get a 20% gift card of the full price, that would of been $3000 card. I could kick myself maybe allstar should give a discount to customers who buy direct or let their customers know about the Costco offer. So make sure you buy through Costco read more

I recently had Allstar come out to my 88 year old mother's house to give us an estimate on repairing her furnace. The gentleman that came out was very nice and polite to my mom however, the bid came in at between $8,000 and $11,000. Yikes!!! I had a friend of mine who had worked in the Heating and Air conditioning business before retiring come look at it for another opinion. He said there was one part that "might" be going bad and could be replaced for around $25. Quite a bit different than $10,000. Allstar said all the ducting needed to be replace, included asbestos testing and new register covers throughout the house. The ducting is getting old however there are no air leaks and it could be done for less than $500 and further more there is NO asbestos in their house. Beware of bids from Allstar and what they include!!!! read more
