The only positive where the contracted company to install the solar panels themselves and the installers were cordial, kept us up-to-date and excellent at their craft. We have had zero rook leafs (we had a new roof put on immediately before our solar panel installation to ensure a long longevity for the roof and solar panels.). They do not call you back in a timely matter even when promised they will for a current customer. The salesman was so slick and tried to switch out the panels he initially sold us on until we caught it before signing the paperwork. I even called the solar panel manufactures myself and asked if they were being discontinued, nope they sure weren't, and when we called the salesman out on it, ge skirted aroubd the answer. And already we're having issue with a solar panel. Something that cost 32k should not be failing with a 20 year lifetime. And your electric bills will not be cheaper in the summer, even though there's abundant sun but your AC is working overtime to cool your house, and certainly not cheaper in the winter when there's less daylight hours.
