would not recommend. They messed up a simple fuel filter job on an LLY duramax by double gasketing the filter.

Sent a Ford 6.0 f.i.c.m. As a core for a "rebuilt" unit. Worked ok for a couple months, then started to fail. It hard start conditions, loss of power, door ajar lights (don't ask me how). And in general,ran bad. Installed a second f.i.c.m. And guess what? It ran fine. This place said their "testing" found no conditions. I am unaware of exactly what test was done on the returned unit. If you don't mind walking, go with this outfit, I don't. The lesson learned here is that any reputable builder would have given a thorough scan of the problem. These are a little bit of work to get to, and no one would fix what isn't broke in this situation. It's broke, and they (Alliant Power) have little or no faith in their work. read more

About a month or so ago I called the shop asking for a set of injectors for the Mack I was working on. They didn't have them in stock, but I talked to Tyler, and he said they would have a set built up in a day or two for me. The next day they were ready for me. I installed them and the truck runs like a top. They gave me great service and I would recommend them to anyone. I even received a call a week or so ago just to check in and make sure I didn't need anything else. Fantastic place with great service. read more

Despite promising that my repairs would absolutely not extend past a certain day, because transportation was vital for my job that week, Diesel Forward quickly transformed into the worst shop experience of my life. Mistake after mistake... The lies to try and cover them up... And yet they still had the NERVE to charge me extra for keeping it an extra week. Would not let me use a loaner car or pay for a rental. I nearly lost my job because of transportation issues. I did lose several hundred dollars in wages, and had to choose which bills to pay at the end of the month. Oh! And the shift I was able to pick up that didn't require a car? I walked 4 miles each way in a snow storm and windchill of -30. And when I was finallyyyyyyy allowed to pick up my car, and explained why I was dissatisfied, I received no apology. Just more excuses. Safe to say I will never be returning again. And I HIGHLY recommend finding a different shop for your needs. Go find a shop with the worst reviews in the state, you'll probably receive better service than from these idiots. read more

I used to take all of my vehicles there, trucks, farm, and motor home. I had them replaced the radiator with a new all aluminum one. I was told it would not corrode like the old one and last forever. I then sold it and immediately upon the new owner taking it in, he was told the radiator was leaking (it had been replaced about 3,000 miles before. I called to complain and was told that these motor homes had an alloy used in the raidators making them prone to leaking. I told him that they had replaced it previously which he verified. He then said it was maybe a road hazard, but it wasn't leaking 15 miles previously. He also could not supply the old parts or evidence. Be very careful of this location.
